What Vega Formazione is
Vega Formazione is an Italian training company for workplace health and safety, environmental and compliance subjects. It sells courses to companies, public bodies and individual professionals in three formats: self-paced e-learning, live videoconference and classroom sessions. The company, Vega Formazione S.r.l., gives its address as Via Don Tosatto in 30174 Mestre Venezia, and the title of its home page describes it as an "Ente Accreditato", an accredited training body.
Most of the catalog exists because Italian law requires it. Courses are built around the Testo Unico sulla Sicurezza (D.Lgs. 81/08) and the new Accordo Stato Regioni of 17 April 2025, the agreement that, in the words of the company's blog, sets the duration and minimum content of health and safety training. For an employer, that makes Vega a place to buy mandatory training for a workforce. For a safety professional, it is a source of the periodic refreshers the rules attach to each role: course titles describe the employer refresher as required every 5 years and the supervisor refresher as biennial.
Finding a course
The course search narrows the catalog by who will take the course, whether it is a base course, a refresher or a seminar, the topic, the format (classroom, videoconference or e-learning), the duration, the month and the language. The audience list runs from workers, supervisors (Preposti) and workers' safety representatives (RLS) through RSPP and ASPP, site safety coordinators (CSP/CSE), employers and managers, to forklift, aerial platform and overhead crane operators, first-aid and fire teams, food handlers, energy managers, HSE managers, privacy officers and DPOs, waste technical managers, sustainability and ESG managers, and students.
Topics include fire prevention, ATEX explosive atmospheres, chemical, biological and physical risks, electrical risk and the CEI 11-27 standard, confined spaces, work at height, manual handling, HACCP, privacy and GDPR, cybersecurity, anti-corruption and ISO 37001, D.Lgs. 231/01 organizational models, gender equality certification, sustainability, energy, waste, and artificial intelligence in health and safety work. Durations in the filter run from one hour or less up to 48 hours, and courses are offered in Italian, English and Spanish.
Training by sector and by role
Worker safety training is now sold by ATECO sector, Italy's classification of economic activities, and a free seminar presents the sector courses as the company's answer to the 2025 agreement. On the course calendar, high-risk sectors such as food and beverage manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, wood and furniture, waste collection and mining get a 12-hour specific course or a 16-hour general plus specific course, while medium-risk sectors such as agriculture and forestry get 8 and 12 hours. In e-learning, 4-hour low-risk sector modules cover laundries, private security, hairdressers, veterinary services, funeral services, landscaping and more, each from 42 euros. A separate phone line, 041 8655920, takes questions about the sector courses.
For safety professionals the catalog carries the full RSPP and ASPP path. Module A is 28 hours and is offered in e-learning from 260 euros; Module B common runs 48 hours by videoconference and Module C 24 hours. Refreshers include 20-hour ASPP and RSPP packages on building, manual handling, worker wellbeing, electrical and ATEX risk, physical agents or technical and legal topics, from 148 euros, a 40-hour RSPP refresher valid for all ATECO sectors at 260 euros, and a 40-hour refresher for site safety coordinators at 185 euros. The 24-hour e-learning course for safety trainers qualified under the D.I. of 6/3/2013, from 296 euros, is also valid as an RSPP and ASPP refresher. Many shorter e-learning courses are labeled as valid for the RSPP and ASPP refresher, such as the 3-hour DUVRI and chemical risk courses at 56 euros. The catalog also has a Crediti CNI area, tied to the professional training credits of the Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri that the company's blog discusses.
The three formats
E-learning is the self-paced option, offered on desktop and tablet, with a demo course linked from the main menu. An article on the company's blog about e-learning platforms explains what the 2025 agreement requires of them: an LMS that tracks each learner's completion, participation and time, courses built to the SCORM standard or an equivalent, and identity checks. The same article lists what it considers marks of a good platform: a demo, a final test that can be retaken with different questions after the learner reviews the missed topics, downloadable materials, a teacher shown on video, a rewind button, a visible time counter and access from a tablet.
Videoconference courses are live and synchronous, which the blog distinguishes from e-learning. The home page calendar lists upcoming sessions, each marked "Avvio Confermato" (start confirmed) or "Avvio in Conferma" (start awaiting confirmation), and the company offers a free download of its guidelines for training by videoconference.
Classroom courses cover the practical subjects: a 4-hour course on mobile access towers, first-aid courses of 16 hours for group A companies and refreshers of 6 hours, fire team refreshers with training in a "Nuova Sala Prove Idranti, Naspi ed Estintori" (a new practice room for hydrants, hose reels and extinguishers), and a 12-hour confined spaces course with a practical test in Mestre.
Prices
Each course shows a "Prezzo a partire da" (price from) figure. One-hour e-learning courses on GDPR for staff or preventing cyber attacks start at 20 euros, and the one-hour worker refreshers on smart working, safe driving, ladders, noise, electrical or biological risk, display screens and work-related stress at 22 euros. The 4-hour general part of worker safety training under the 2025 agreement starts at 42 euros, and the 8-hour general plus low-risk specific bundle at 74 euros. Worker safety training in English or Spanish starts at 45 euros. Larger courses include the 16-hour employer course at 185 euros, the 12-hour course for managers at 150 euros, the 32-hour RLS base course at 229 euros and the 18-hour Sustainability Manager course at 234 euros.
School PCTO courses are listed at 40 euros but marked free for schools. Companies and professionals who register on the site get, in the company's words, "numerosi vantaggi e Servizi Gratuiti riservati" (numerous benefits and reserved free services). Public bodies can buy through MePA, which the site describes as online purchasing for public bodies and administrations, and the services menu also lists funded courses.
Free seminars and after-course help
Vega runs a long list of free e-learning seminars, most of them one hour: the 2025 edition of CEI 11-27, the RENTRI electronic waste register, what the new 2025 agreement changes (1.5 hours), the 159/2025 safety decree, the CEI 78-25 report on arc flash risk, violence and harassment risk assessment, the EU AI Act, the points-based permit for construction sites, the NIS2 cybersecurity directive and the new EU machinery regulation. Speakers named on the pages include Ing. Maritan and Avv. Fantini.
The site says its training "non finisce in aula!" (does not end in the classroom): "Per tutti i nostri corsisti è disponibile un servizio di consulenza online gratuito!" (a free online consultation service is available to all our course participants), with teachers answering questions afterwards. The site adds a glossary of health and safety acronyms, a section on the Testo Unico with a database and news, a technical blog and a video gallery. The company lists its hours as Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 17.30, with the phone number 041.3969013, a customer service link and a contact form.
The Ambassador program
For trainers and consultants, the Ambassador program speaks to a common problem: "Organizzi Corsi sulla Sicurezza sul Lavoro ma non raggiungi il numero minimo di iscritti per avviarli? Diventa AMBASSADOR di Vega Formazione!" (Do you organize workplace safety courses but fail to reach the minimum enrollment to start them? Become a Vega Formazione Ambassador.) Ambassadors have their own login, and a seminar reserved for them presents electronic payments for ambassadors' clients as a new function of SafetyFAD Plus.
Who it suits
Vega Formazione suits Italian employers who must train staff under D.Lgs. 81/08 and the 2025 agreement and want to buy course by course, by role and by ATECO sector. RSPP, ASPP, site coordinators and safety trainers will find their refresher hours here in all three formats. Schools sending students on PCTO placements, public bodies buying through MePA and companies with English or Spanish speaking staff each have a route in. The catalog is written for the Italian regulatory framework, so it is less relevant to anyone training outside Italy, and the prices shown are starting prices per course rather than a subscription to the whole library.
