Medbridge is a healthcare education and patient care software company, and its education side serves two readers at once: individual clinicians who need accredited continuing education, and healthcare organizations that need a learning management system to train, assign and track their staff. Its home page describes the offer as "integrated education, a hybrid care platform including RTM, and actionable insights that drive outcomes." The disciplines it names are physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, athletic training, nursing, strength and conditioning, and students, and the organization types run from private practices to hospitals and health systems, home health, hospice, and employer and worksite health. The same company sells patient care tools (home exercise programs, remote therapeutic monitoring, guided pathways, patient education), which matter here only as context.

Continuing education for individual clinicians

The core learner product is the course library. The home page lists "2,500+ accredited, introductory to advanced-level courses for over 15 disciplines, available on-demand," alongside "200+ point-of-care skills resources for nurses and clinicians." Courses are video-based and taught by named instructors, and the menu adds live webinars, podcasts and cohort learning. The home page puts the instructor roster at over 600 and says a Medical Advisory Board and a Nurse Review Board check that products and clinical content are evidence-based and current.

The nursing page is the most detailed part of the site. It counts 1,100+ video-based nursing continuing education courses and 200+ point-of-care clinical procedure resources for nurses, and says 30,000+ nurses trust Medbridge. It states that "Courses and live webinars are accredited for RNs and LPNs by ANCC and are accepted in all U.S. states as continuing education," and links a page for finding state CEU requirements. The nursing catalog is grouped into Chronic Conditions, Regulatory and Documentation, Clinical Procedures, Leadership and Rehabilitation, with titles such as Rehabilitation Nursing for Pulmonary Conditions (Cheryl Lehman), Pathophysiology & Management of Type 1 Diabetes, OASIS-E2: Introduction to Key Concepts, Hospice Certifications and Recertifications, Tracheostomy Care, Wound Care: Assessment and Measurement, A Preceptor Training Program, and Fall and Injury Risk Assessment Is More Than a Score (Pat Quigley). Beyond courses, the Clinical Procedure Manual offers "certified, expert-reviewed procedure guidance" that a nurse can pull up on a home visit, skills training comes in "video-based, bite-sized lessons," and the House Call podcast covers the problems of home-based care. The site also mentions 3D models and patient demos for hands-on technique.

For clinicians who want more than credit hours, Guided Programs bundle courses into Certificate Programs and a CRRN Prep Program for rehabilitation nurses. The LMS page describes certification programs that help clinicians "pass the board specialty exams and gain valuable experience, all while earning CEUs." A physical therapist, Bob Cochrane, writes that for the SCS exam "the learning assessments have been extraordinarily helpful, allowing me to hone in on topics I really need to work on."

Access is flexible. The nursing page says clinicians can "Maintain your license and earn CEUs from anywhere with high-quality courses available on your computer or phone," and there is a Clinician Mobile App. A nurse, Alicia Jancola of Ida Culver Health Care Center, writes: "I can take the courses in my own time and at my own pace, and their mobile app allows me to take the courses wherever I want." Before paying, a visitor can sample content: the menu offers a First Chapter Free Trial and the nursing page says "Try any course for free."

The LMS for healthcare organizations

The Learning Management System for Healthcare is what puts Medbridge in front of training teams. Its knowledge track builder lets an organization create standardized programs for onboarding, compliance and quality improvement "using both Medbridge content and your own custom materials." Knowledge Tracks combine continuing education, quizzes and surveys. Competency Management assigns skill checklists, handles preceptor assessment and shows data dashboards. Live Event Management covers in-person events, from attendance to certificates. A Custom Content Uploader takes articles, videos, quizzes and attestations, and the Content Library adds thousands of pre-built video CE courses, compliance training and microlearning. On compliance specifically, the home page lists "150+ interactive SCORM courses on topics like HIPAA, bloodborne pathogens, and more."

Administration is built for multi-site employers. The page lists HRIS integration for creating and managing users, automatic assignment rules for users and groups, user groups with a location-based hierarchy and custom fields, and automatic or manual notifications and reminders. Reporting includes completion reporting with historical data for audits and HR requests, Knowledge Track analysis to spot non-compliance, cross-track reporting on individual progress, and activity reports on content use. Clinicians get a notice when a track is assigned, can take courses from any device and pause as needed, receive nudges before the due date, and have each completion stored on the dashboard.

Customers quoted on the site describe it in practice. Amy Lee of Physical Therapy Central says the management tools "allow us to assign personalized courses to help each clinician develop specializations and continue to grow professionally." Bridgit Finley, CEO of the same practice, writes that her team completes one course a month followed by a hands-on lab, and that "Prior to Medbridge, there would be no way we could have afforded twelve courses a year for our therapists."

Plans, pricing and scale

Plans are sold by size: Just for Me (1 seat), Small Businesses (2+ seats) and Large Organizations (50+ seats). The site sends individuals and small teams to a separate Plans & Pricing page, which it says carries "detailed pricing and self-service check-out." Organizations planning to buy 50 or more licenses are asked to book a demo "to speak with our team about solution options, pricing, and implementation," while those looking for fewer than 50 can explore self-guided demos.

The home page gives the company's scale as 15 years in business, 360K+ members, 10M+ course completions, 4K+ organizations and 3K+ education videos; the LMS page says it is "Trusted by over 3,500 healthcare organizations." The site displays ratings of 4.7 on Capterra, Software Advice, GetApp and Trustpilot, 4.8 on the App Store and 4.9 on the Play Store. Support runs through a Help Center with tutorials, an FAQ, a Technical Requirements page and a Supported Integrations page, and monthly free webinars come with live Q&A.

Who it suits

Medbridge suits rehab clinicians and nurses who want a large, accredited, video-based CE library they can work through on a phone between visits, with prep programs for specialty exams such as the CRRN. It suits private practices, home health and hospice agencies, and hospital systems that want one platform for onboarding, competency checklists, compliance courses and CE, with HRIS-driven user management and audit-ready completion reports.

The caveat is focus. Every course, checklist and report is built around clinical disciplines and healthcare regulation, so this is a strong fit for care organizations and individual clinicians, and a narrow one for anyone outside healthcare. Larger groups also go through a demo and a sales conversation before they see a price.
