What TPN.health is
TPN.health, short for The Trusted Provider Network, is a platform for behavioral health providers that puts continuing education, a professional profile and referral matching in one account. For the learner reading this directory, the core of it is free CE: the continuing education page is headed "Premium education at no cost to you" and promises education "from world-class educators across every specialty in behavioral health, for free." Around the courses sit a license tracker, a certificate store called the CE Wallet, and a network that connects providers with partners, payers and patients.
The company describes the whole thing as "Your digital home for behavioral health", bringing together "continuing education, clinical connections, and care coordination to enable value-based care." Its About text speaks of "verified profiles that build trust, and intelligent care matching that honors the art and science of therapeutic connection," and calls the platform "a new operating system that enables whole-person, value-based care."
The CE catalog and formats
TPN.health teaches through two formats: live events and on-demand courses. The CE page headlines "500+ Free CE Events Annually", made up of "Live virtual sessions, in-person events, and on-demand courses covering trauma, ethics, evidence-based practices, emerging treatments, cultural competence, and every major specialty in behavioral health." A "View CEs" button opens the library of live and on-demand CEs.
The content comes, in the page's words, "from leading experts and respected treatment programs across behavioral health specialties." A Premium Faculty section says learners hear from "recognized experts, treatment innovators, and clinicians at the forefront of their specialties". The company frames the aim as education that "makes you better at what you do" rather than a renewal checkbox, and says a provider's "clinical skills deepen through consistent exposure to new evidence, emerging practices, and expert perspectives."
Beyond single CE credits, Specialized Training Paths group courses into learning paths in advanced specialties. The site says providers can "Earn certificates in focused areas that distinguish your expertise and open practice opportunities." The individual paths are not named on the public pages.
How a provider uses it
The flow is short. A provider signs up, builds a profile, and opens the CE library through "View CEs". From there they join a live virtual session, register for an in-person event, or start an on-demand course when it suits them; the CE page says "Live events and on-demand courses give you flexibility to learn when it fits your schedule." Credits earned land in the CE Wallet, the tracker checks them against each state's requirement, and renewal reminders arrive before deadlines. The page sums this up as "Professional development and compliance, simplified in one place," and promises that learners can "earn CE credits through live events and on-demand courses, and store certificates securely."
Accreditation, as the site states it
The CE page has a section titled Comprehensive Accreditations. It reads: "All CE-courses are accredited through boards including NBCC, APA, ASWB, NAADAC, and more. You can rest assured that you will find appropriate CEs for your behavioral health specialty and license type."
License tracking and the CE Wallet
The second half of the CE product is administration. The page describes the problem plainly: "Tracking what you have completed and what you still need can sometimes feel like managing another job. Certificates get lost. Deadlines sneak up."
The answer is Multi-State Tracking and the CE Wallet. The site says the CE Wallet "stores certificates and tracks credits against your license requirements, even across multiple states." The platform "tracks requirements for each jurisdiction, reminds you of upcoming renewals, and shows exactly which credits you need," and earned CEs are "saved in your CE Wallet on your profile for easy access." The company sums up the intended experience as "License tracking happens in the background while you focus on the learning that matters." For a provider licensed in more than one state, that removes the spreadsheet many keep by hand.
Cost
For individual providers, the CE is free. The site repeats it in several forms: "Premium CE at no cost", "Premium education at no cost to you", and "500+ Free CE Events Annually". Its case for the model is economic. The page notes that "Maintaining your license typically costs hundreds of dollars every renewal cycle" and that "Most CE providers charge premium prices for content of wildly varying quality," and calls the result "another financial stressor in a field that often undercompensates the value you provide." The stated goal is continuing education that is "genuinely educational, financially accessible, and administratively simple." The pages give no prices for organizations, payers or partners.
Profiles, the network and referrals
The CE account doubles as a professional profile. The provider pitch on the home page reads "Your professional home to learn from world-class educators, stay current, and be discoverable for the work you do best. Premium CE at no cost, verified profiles, and trusted referrals." The company explains that "Providers maintain their professional identity in the same space where they grow their knowledge and connect with peers," and that "Referrals flow to those best equipped to help, matched by clinical fit and therapeutic approach." The provider menu lists TPN.match, CE Credits and Network.
Partners, payers and patients
TPN.health serves three other groups, and each one shapes the CE product.
Partners are treatment centers, associations, organizations and educators. The home page says they "use our infrastructure to host trainings, track compliance, and connect with a national community." The company adds that "Organizations reach engaged professionals easily because they are already here, learning and connecting," and that "A single event sparks hundreds of meaningful conversations." The CE page likewise names "respected treatment programs" next to leading experts as sources of the education.
Payers are health plans, third party administrators and self-funded employers. The pitch to them is "Reliable connectivity to active, verified networks. Cleaner data, faster access, and complementary Care Navigation that works."
Patients use TPN.match to find a therapist. The home page offers "Human-led care navigation that honors your needs, preferences, and gets you to your first appointment faster," and says patients "begin their care journey with a simple text, and meet someone committed to finding them the right match, not just any available option."
What learners say
One testimonial on the CE page comes from Risa Cohen Carter, who writes about a presentation she attended: "It is a gift and an honor to be able to attend. I'm a fairly new social worker". She closes with "Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Who it suits
TPN.health suits licensed behavioral health providers who want free CE and a place to keep track of it, across the specialties the site covers, from trauma and ethics to cultural competence. The multi-state tracker is most useful to a clinician holding licenses in several states. Newer clinicians watching their renewal budget get the same events as established ones. Treatment centers, associations and educators that want to present training to a wide provider audience can join as partners. Someone outside behavioral health, or a provider who prefers to pay for a single packaged course from one known publisher, will find the catalog and network built around a different model.
