Medical Professionals

Tap a star to rate

Medical Professionals is an online continuing education provider for radiologic technologists. Its store sells radiology CE courses, ultrasound CME courses, structured education credits and exam preparation, and the home page sums up its position in one line: "All CE courses are accredited by the ASRT®, accepted for ARRT® certification/renewal and by the NMTCB®." It adds that its MRI CE courses are accepted by the ARMRIT and its ultrasound CMEs by the ARDMS and APCA. The site runs in English and French, and its footer is careful to note that Medical Professionals "is not licensed by, endorsed by, or affiliated with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists," whose trademarks it uses to describe what its courses count toward.

What the catalog covers

The Radiology CE Store is organized by modality and credit type: Unlimited CE Credits, X-Ray, CT, MRI, Mammography, Radiation Safety, Radiation Therapy, Bone Densitometry, R.R.A. CE Credits, Limited Radiology Tech CE and CQR CE Credits, with a separate Ultrasound CME Store. Newly released courses on the home page show the range and the pricing logic, since each lists its credits and price. CT Dose Optimization and Radiation Safety carries 3.00 CE credits for $15.00. Breast Imaging: One Anatomy, Multiple Modalities is 1.00 credit for $9.99. The Second Trimester Ultrasound Course gives 7.50 CME credits for $37.50, the Pediatric MRI CE Course 3.50 credits for $17.50, MRI in Practice 5.00 credits for $49.99, and CT in Trauma and Emergency Settings 1.75 credits for $9.99.

Beyond single courses, the store offers Structured Education combos, described as "affordable SE combos in MRI, CT, Mammo, BMD, and Ultrasound," for technologists working toward a post-primary credential. An Exam Prep section covers an exam prep platform with radiography and MRI tracks, plus simplified pathway guides for primary and post-primary eligibility and an ARRT exam specifications guide.

Cross-sectional anatomy with IMAIOS

The most distinctive product is a pair of anatomy courses built with IMAIOS. The home page calls it "A unique partnership that blends IMAIOS's top-notch anatomy platform with CE-accredited modules developed by medical professionals." CT Cross-Sectional Anatomy has 6 CE modules covering the head, neck, spine, thorax, abdomen and pelvis, upper and lower extremities and whole-body CT, with one year of access to the IMAIOS platform, an interactive format with video, downloadable transcripts and a post-test. It is approved by the ASRT for 15 category A CE credits and sells for $120.00. MRI Cross-Sectional Anatomy has 12 CE modules on the brain, head, neck, spine, abdomen, pelvis, brachial plexus, shoulder, arthrography, lower extremity and more, approved for 15.75 category A CE credits, also at $120.00. The CT & MRI Cross-Sectional Anatomy Package, marked Popular, combines the 6 CT and 12 MRI modules for 30.75 CE credits toward ARRT certification and CQR requirements, priced at $160.00 against an original price of $240.00.

Packages and prices

The store is built around a handful of flat-price packages, sold as one-time payments. The headline offer is Unlimited CE Credits: 240+ CE credits for $49.99, and the free courses page adds that it gives one year of access and does not auto-renew. Modality packages sit below it at $39.99 each: MRI (82+ credits across 23 courses), X-Ray (67+ credits, 22 courses), CT (54+ credits, 20 courses) and Mammography (49+ credits, 17 courses). Ultrasound is priced separately: 30 ultrasound CME credits across 16 courses for $89.99.

Under "Our Promise," the home page lists three commitments: courses meet CE and CQR requirements for ARRT certification, a "Guaranteed 30-day Refund Policy," and "One-time payment. No hidden fees. No extra charges." Separate pages hold the terms of service, refund policy, group rate and FAQs.

For teams, the site offers "exclusive group rates for radiology departments, imaging centers, and radiologic technologist groups," with discounted pricing for group purchases and customizable packages for a team's needs, arranged by getting in touch.

Free courses and resources

A rotating set of courses is free. The free CE page says the company is "proud to offer a rotating selection of radiology CE courses to radiologic technologists absolutely free of charge," and that "You don't need a credit card and there's nothing to remember to cancel ever." The current set includes MRI of the Thumb (0.50 CE credits), PACS Systems & Quality Control (1.00), Contrast Enhanced Mammography (0.75), CT Image Post Processing (0.25) and Ultrasound of the Hip (1.00 CME credit). The page pitches them to technologists who need a few credits to finish a state or ARRT biennium, or who simply want to see what the courses are like.

The menu headed "100% Free for You!" also lists free resources: CE webinars with registration, webinar replays, articles and guides, and a 3D X-ray positioning tool. The resources menu adds an X-Ray Positioning Guide, CT procedure videos, an MRI in Practice video series, CE requirements pages, reference guides and a list of radiology congresses.

How learning works and what learners say

Courses are taken through a learner account, with sign-up by email or Google and a page explaining how to access your courses. The anatomy courses list video, downloadable transcripts and a post-test, and the testimonials describe reading the material and then taking the test. Trevor C., who took a 10.25-credit Category A+ course in Patient Care in Radiology, writes: "The transcript helps so you don't have to take a million notes. Just read the material and you'll do fine on the test." Jacob B. calls one MRI course "Very educative, excellent course content and well structured."

The company also describes a social program, Radiology for All: Education That Gives Back. Under the line "One CE Package. Two Futures," it says customer purchases help it "reach radiologic technologists in underserved countries and provide them with free access to educational courses in radiology." The About menu also lists a scientific committee, company values and a rad tech jobs board.

Who it suits

Medical Professionals suits radiologic technologists who want to cover their CE cheaply and quickly: the $49.99 unlimited package, or a $39.99 modality bundle for someone focused on MRI, CT, X-ray or mammography. Sonographers have a separate CME store, technologists chasing a post-primary credential have structured education combos and exam prep, and anyone who wants better anatomy grounding gets the IMAIOS courses. Imaging departments can ask for a group rate.

The caveat is focus: every course, package and resource here is built around medical imaging, from X-ray and CT to MRI, mammography and ultrasound. For a radiologic technologist that focus is the point.
