What it is
CapacitaNet is a Chilean online training provider for health professionals. Its site sells short courses (cursos), longer diplomados and bundled packs across the areas its footer lists: kinesiology, nursing, dermoesthetics, nutrition, speech therapy (fonoaudiología), and obstetrics together with a cross-disciplinary strand it calls transversales. The menu splits the catalog further into courses for nursing and TENS, kinesiology, dermoesthetics, speech therapy, nutrition and obstetrics, plus separate entries for packs, semipresencial (blended) programs and certifications. The footer gives the company's address as Providencia, Santiago de Chile, and the pack pages sign off with "8 años capacitando a quienes cuidan Chile" (8 years training the people who care for Chile).
The company states its learner numbers in slightly different forms from page to page. The pack pages say "Más de 260.000 alumnos formados" (more than 260,000 learners trained), the aesthetic-services course page invites readers to join "nuestros 255.000 matriculados" (our 255,000 enrollees), and the Implanon course page speaks of "más de 250.000 profesionales capacitados" (more than 250,000 professionals trained). Its own tagline is "Capacitar es lo que hacemos, a un precio justo" (training is what we do, at a fair price), and the prices bear that out for most of the catalog.
The course catalog
The home page lists several dozen courses, each with its length in pedagogical hours and a price. Nursing and emergency care titles include the Emergency Severity Index triage system (32 hours), management of healthcare waste (REAS, 32 hours), healthcare-associated infections (IAAS, offered at 80 and at 120 hours), prehospital care (CAPREB, 120 hours), pediatric advanced life support (PALS, 80 hours), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS, 70 hours), CPR (32 hours, marked as updated for 2026), quality management and accreditation in health (120 hours), advanced wound care (160 hours), ECG reading and interpretation (120 hours) and asepsis and antisepsis (120 hours).
Kinesiology titles include pulmonary rehabilitation, invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, spirometry, adult respiratory disease (ERA), acute respiratory infections (IRA) and the pediatric version (IRAP), all at 120 hours, along with neuromuscular and functional taping (60 hours), sports biomechanics (180 hours), exercise prescription for older adults (180 hours) and activity and exercise for cancer patients (180 hours).
Speech therapy covers aphasia intervention and rehabilitation (180 hours), infant swallowing (120 hours), childhood apraxia of speech (60 hours), otoscopy and ear washing (32 hours), cognitive stimulation for older people (120 hours) and speech therapy in early intervention (120 hours). Nutrition covers food handling, sports supplementation and nutritional management of the diabetic patient (120 hours each), principles of nutrition and child nutrition (180 hours each), breastfeeding and complementary feeding (80 hours) and menstrual health (120 hours). Obstetrics has pharmacology in obstetrics (160 hours) and a 45-hour course on inserting, removing and replacing the Implanon subdermal implant.
Most of these courses are listed at $21.990 in the site's Chilean price notation, with a dot as the thousands mark. The 80-hour IAAS course is $16.000 and the Implanon course $39.990.
Course pages name their audience. The Implanon course is aimed at midwives (matronas) and fifth-year students of obstetrics and childcare, and its page describes it as specialized training for professionals who want to deepen their knowledge of the implant, with a focus on safe, quality care in sexual and reproductive health. The course on planning and managing aesthetic services is aimed at nurses and promises the tools to start out in dermoesthetics.
Dermoesthetics
The dermoesthetics area is priced differently from the rest. Serum therapy (sueroterapia, 60 hours) sells at $21.990, but botulinum toxin (42 hours) and hyaluronic acid application (60 hours) are $54.995 each, platelet-rich plasma (42 hours) is $54.500, and facial anatomy and dermoesthetic fundamentals (120 hours) is $79.995. A guide to common complications in facial harmonization sells on its own at $35.990, and the 60-hour aesthetic-services planning course for clinical nursing comes with that guide as a gift for $29.990.
Diplomados
Longer programs are sold as diplomados running from 270 to 720 hours. The home page lists diplomados in IAAS (320 hours), public health (320 hours), adult neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, massage therapy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation techniques (720 hours each), sports kinesiology and return to sport (320 hours), maternal and gynecological care (270 hours), and two in nutrition, sports nutrition and vegetarian and vegan nutrition (320 hours each). Most are listed at $49.990; the public health diplomado is $27.990.
Packs and the included CPR practical
Packs are where the site steers buyers, with the line "Ahorra frente a compra individual" (save compared with buying individually). Area packs on the home page run from the Pack Inicial Intrahospitalario (CPR, ACLS, IAAS and ECG) at $19.990, through Pack Urgencias at $49.990, the speech therapy pack and the nursing pack with a diplomado at $59.990 each, and 4 kinesiology packs between $44.990 and $79.990, to Pack Dermoestética at $79.990, Pack Nutrición at $99.990 and a Mega Pack de Dermoestética Online at $169.990.
General packs let the learner pick: 1 course of their choice for $12.990, 2 for $22.390, 3 for $23.990 and 4 for $29.590, with diplomado combinations from 1 diplomado plus 1 course at $30.390 up to 2 diplomados plus 2 courses at $47.990. The Implanon page points straight at this route, offering that course "por solo $12.990" (for only $12.990) when it is chosen inside the one-course pack.
Pack pages spell out their contents. Pack Urgencias bundles 5 online programs: IAAS (80 hours), ESI triage (32 hours), advanced wound management (160 hours), ECG interpretation (120 hours) and ACLS (70 hours). Pack Nutrición holds 2 diplomados and 5 courses, and Pack Dermoestética covers botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, facial anatomy and the complications guide.
The pack pages also add what they call a free included benefit, "RCP SEMIPRESENCIAL GRATIS": a blended CPR course of 32 online hours plus 4 hours of in-person practice, covering CPR, use of an AED (DEA) and OVACE. Practical sessions run in Santiago, Viña del Mar, La Serena and Concepción, with "Próximamente: todo Chile" (coming soon, all of Chile). The pages say buyers have up to 6 months from purchase to arrange their practical, that the date is coordinated by WhatsApp, and that the pack includes 6 months of full access to study and choose the day.
How studying works
The online courses are sold as "100% online · asincrónico · a tu ritmo" (100% online, asynchronous, at your own pace). There are no fixed class times: the aesthetic-services course page sets a maximum period in which to complete the course asynchronously, from anywhere. Learners reach their courses through the Aula Virtual, the virtual classroom linked from every page, and each pack lists its programs with a link to view or download the syllabus (VER PROGRAMA, DESCARGAR PROGRAMA), so a buyer can read the content outline before paying.
For help choosing, the home page offers "Resuelve tus dudas con nuestros especialistas" (sort out your questions with our specialists) and a "Conversemos" button for anyone unsure which course to take. A customer service link sits in the header, a chat window opens with "¿En qué podemos ayudarte?" (how can we help you?), and the footer carries a phone number, the terms and conditions, and links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Certification and recognition
The same statement appears on every page: "OTEC certificada bajo la Norma NCh 2728:2015, con programas reconocidos por SENCE y el Ministerio de Salud (MINSAL)" (an OTEC certified under standard NCh 2728:2015, with programs recognized by SENCE and the Ministry of Health). The home page adds that its programs are "acreditados por SENCE y reconocidos por MINSAL" and heads its catalog "Cursos y Diplomados de Salud Online certificados en Chile". The Implanon page says the course carries official certification issued by an OTEC accredited under that standard, "garantizando calidad formativa y reconocimiento en el ámbito laboral" (guaranteeing training quality and recognition in the workplace), and the aesthetic-services page says the OTEC is certified by SENCE under the norm, guaranteeing quality and validity for the learner's career. These are the company's own descriptions of its certificates.
Organizations
Under the heading "Instituciones que confían en nuestra formación" (institutions that trust our training), the home page says CapacitaNet delivers official training to public and private organizations across Chile. Every product on the site, though, is bought through an add-to-cart checkout, so it works first as a store for individual professionals.
Who it suits and who it does not
CapacitaNet suits nurses, nursing technicians, physiotherapists, nutritionists, speech therapists, midwives and students in Chile who want short, hour-rated health courses at low prices and from a provider that cites SENCE and MINSAL recognition. The packs make the most sense for anyone planning several courses in one area, and the included CPR practical adds an in-person component that a purely online course cannot.
The caveats follow from the format. The online study is asynchronous, so learners who want live teaching will find in-person contact only in the CPR practical, held in 4 cities until the promised national rollout arrives. The clinical dermoesthetics courses cost more than the rest, from $54.500 to $79.995. And the whole offer, from the Spanish-language site to the recognition it cites, is Chilean, so it is aimed squarely at people studying and working in Chile.
