What it is
At Health is an online continuing education site for mental health professionals, run by At Health, LLC. It sells self-paced CE courses to clinicians who need credits for their license: the home page starts by asking for a state and a profession, and its approval statements cover psychologists, counselors, addiction counselors and social workers. The headline promises "Accredited mental health continuing education courses, designed by experts for experts."
The home page states 6,000+ professionals trained, 250+ CE courses and 13,000+ courses delivered, with a 4.8-star average rating near the top (a second stats block lower down reads "4+"). It gives two dates for its history: the headline says it has been trusted by mental health professionals since 2001, while the Why Choose At Health section says it has served them since 1997, "with accredited, peer-reviewed content." The same section says every course is "authored and reviewed by licensed clinicians in their field."
How it works
The home page lays the process out in four steps. First, a learner confirms their requirements: "Select your license type and state to see exactly which CE credits you need", choosing from a list of US states and the District of Columbia, with an "All Others" option. Second, they pick from 250+ courses "matched to your requirements, format preference, and areas of practice." Third, they study "at home, at the office, or on the go", on any device, with "no time limits, at your own pace." Fourth, "Certificates are available the moment you pass", and they can be downloaded, printed or saved and stay in the learner's account.
The catalog search suggests popular topics (Ethics, Trauma, ADHD, Telehealth and Addiction), and there are shortcuts to browse ethics and suicide courses. Courses are bought one at a time: each carries its own price and an Add to cart button, and the site has a shopping cart and a My Account area. Registration is a free account.
Courses and formats
Every course card shows a format (Text, Audio or Video), a topic, the CE credits, a star rating and a price. The most popular courses of the month on the home page give a fair picture:
- Suicide Assessment and Intervention, text, 2 credits, $30.00, rated 3.8.
- Domestic Violence for Mental Health Providers, video, under Trauma, 8 credits, $80.00, rated 4.4.
- Ethics and Risk Management: Confidentiality in the Digital World, audio, 3 credits, $55.00, rated 4.1.
- Borderline Personality Disorder, audio, 2 credits, $30.00, rated 4.0.
- ADHD and Intellectual Disability, audio, $30.00, listed at 1.5 credits, rated 4.2.
- Alcohol Problems in Intimate Relationships: Identification and Intervention, text, under Addiction, 6 credits, $45.00, rated 4.0.
- Sexual Harassment Prevention For Illinois Practitioners, audio, 1 credit, $17.00, rated 3.7.
- Ethics and Risk Management in Counseling, text, 2 credits, $33.00, rated 3.9.
- Suicide Assessment, Treatment, and Management 2024 Update, audio, under Trauma, 6 credits, $90.00, rated 4.2.
Across these examples a course costs from $17.00 for 1 credit to $90.00 for 6 credits. The site shows no subscription or unlimited plan; pricing is per course.
Verified reviews on the home page name more of the catalog: Conducting a Valid ADHD Assessment, Multiculturalism and Cultural Competence, Counseling Older Adults, Multicultural Issues in Counseling, Crying in Psychotherapy and Motivational Interviewing as a Counseling Style. Each review carries a star rating, the reviewer's initial, state or credential, and the line "Would Recommend This To Colleagues".
Testing Psychologist courses
The featured instructor is Dr. Jeremy Sharp, a licensed psychologist and clinical director of Colorado Center for Assessment & Counseling who specializes in psychological and neuropsychological evaluation with kids and adolescents. He hosts The Testing Psychologist podcast, where, the home page says, he brings in leading experts for in-depth conversations that "double as accredited CE". Three of these courses are shown: Functional Neurological Disorder ($20.00, 1 credit), Discovering and Assessing Gifted and Twice Exceptional Kids ($25.00, 1 credit), and Neurodiversity-Affirming Autism Assessment Across the Lifespan, on strengths and differential diagnosis ($20.00, 1 credit). A link leads to the full set of Testing Psychologist courses.
Micro-credential programs
Beyond single courses, At Health offers two CE micro-credential programs, Eating Disorders and Behavioral Addictions. The home page calls them "Two clinically rigorous, asynchronous programs", put together by "one of the field's most decorated voices in continuing education", with exclusive interview videos with leading clinicians. Each is self-paced, with progress saved automatically. The section is credited to Dr. Greg J. Neimeyer, PhD, described as Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida and former CE Director for the APA, and one of the verified reviews is for the Behavioral Addictions Micro-Credential. The home page gives no price for either program.
A free course to start
New learners can try the platform with a free 1-credit course, Motivational Interviewing as a Counseling Style. The offer is enrollment "with no cost and no obligation" and "No credit card needed"; the learner earns CE credit and can download a certificate on completion. Signing up takes a name and an email address, and the site emails a link to start.
Tools for registered users
Two features are offered to all registered users "at no charge through June 30, 2026". The CE Tracker logs credits from any provider or course, not only At Health, shows progress toward state requirements by license type and state, and produces an exportable compliance summary for the licensing board, which can also be emailed. Practice Tools is a library of practice forms that a clinician personalizes with their own branding and contact details: Good Faith Estimates (described as No Surprises Act compliant), a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, a Two-Way Authorization to Release Records, informed consent and intake forms. The site says the resulting print-ready documents "meet current regulatory requirements."
Approvals and support
The home page carries four approval statements. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists and maintains responsibility for the program and its content. It is approved as a continuing education provider by NAADAC, the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, Provider #148460. It has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949, and programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. It is approved by the Association of Social Work Boards ACE program as Provider #1707, with an approval period from 5/3/2023 to 5/3/2026, and the statement adds that "Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit." A summary block reads "Approved by APA, NBCC, NAADAC, ASWB, and more major approval bodies", and a CE Approvals page lists them in full.
Support runs through an FAQ and a Contact Us page. A Become An Author link invites clinicians to write courses.
Who it suits
At Health suits licensed psychologists, counselors, addiction counselors and social workers in the US who renew a license with CE and want to choose their own format, whether reading, listening on the go or watching video. Clinicians who assess children and adolescents will find the Testing Psychologist courses useful, and those building depth in eating disorders or behavioral addictions have the two micro-credential programs. Illinois practitioners get a dedicated sexual harassment prevention course, and solo clinicians can keep their CE record and their practice paperwork in one account.
Learners who want one fee for unlimited CE will find course-by-course pricing instead, and social workers should read the ASWB statement closely, since the approval period printed on the home page ended on 5/3/2026.
