What Archer Review is

Archer Review is an online nursing exam prep company whose core product is NCLEX preparation for graduates sitting the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN licensing exams. It sells self-study packages built around a question bank and computer adaptive tests, then adds video content review, live review sessions and tutoring in the higher tiers. The home page covers the rest of a nurse's exam path too: TEAS 7 and HESI A2 prep for pre-nursing students, course-specific videos, practice questions and cheat sheets for nursing school, nurse practitioner board prep, and the CCRN critical care exam. The NCLEX-RN page quotes its Chief Nursing Officer, Morgan Taylor, DNP, CPNP-PC, BSN, RN, CCRN: "Archer Review is for nurses by nurses."

The company's scale claims are large. The NCLEX-RN page says over 1,062,000 nurses have trusted Archer Review to get ready for the NCLEX-RN and counts 120,000+ NCLEX students in 2026. A footnote adds that more than 52.7% of 2025 NCLEX test takers used Archer Review, based on an internal count of unique users from January through June 2025 set against the total test-taker volume reported by NCSBN. The site also notes that NCSBN, which owns the NCLEX trademarks, is not affiliated with Archer Review.

The Q-Bank and adaptive tests

Every NCLEX package starts from the same core: a 3,100+ question NGN Q-Bank with standalone and unfolding case studies, 30+ readiness assessments plus CAT exams, and performance analytics with pass prediction. The site says all of its NCLEX products are built for the Next Generation NCLEX, with items across the full range of formats, including unfolding case studies, extended multiple choice, matrix multiple response and bow-tie questions. Learners build custom tests around their strengths and weaknesses in CAT, timed or tutor modes, and each question comes with an explanation "so you'll always know why the right answer is right." The home page describes the interface as one that mirrors actual exam conditions to reduce test-day anxiety.

The computer adaptive tests adjust to the learner's response level and return instant pass/fail results, while the readiness assessments give predictive scores; on completion, the FAQ says, learners see their pass probability on a scale from low to very high. Both are sold as unlimited, with a footnote: unlimited means up to the extent of unused questions in the database, and once every question has been used, learners can buy a reset to retake the assessments. A remediation feature lets learners go back over missed questions with detailed explanations and concept-based resources.

Packages and prices

The NCLEX-RN page offers four packages, each with a choice of access length. The prices below are the current prices the page shows; most sit beside a higher list price.

  • Q-Bank + CAT, described as "Our basic package for independent learners who just need more high-quality questions": $79 for 1 month, $99 for 2 months, $129 for 3 months and $149 for 6 months. It covers the Q-Bank, readiness assessments, CAT exams and performance analytics.
  • Q-Bank + CAT + Videos, the Rapid Review Combo, for students who want on-demand content review videos without live lectures: $99 for 1 month, $109 for 2 months, $139 for 3 months and $179 for 6 months. It adds the high-yield content review and video-enhanced rationales.
  • Sure PASS, labeled most popular, adds the 3-Day Live NCLEX Review with an e-workbook, interactive live case studies, the Sure PASS Guarantee and the ArcherRN Exit Exam: $159 for 1 month, $169 for 2 months, $189 for 3 months and $209 for 6 months. The page describes its live review as 3 days and 23 hours, backed by 200+ hours of video library and a live lecture bundle with content lectures twice a week and live case studies three times a week.
  • Intense PREP, for repeat test takers or high-anxiety students who want an extra layer of support and accountability: $399 for 3 months or $599 for 6 months. It is the only package with tutor guidance, group sessions and personalized feedback. The FAQ describes it as structured over 6 weeks, with exclusive live lectures, weekly small group tutoring and feedback sessions that review the student's scores and test-taking skills.

The FAQ says access periods include 90 or 180 days or longer, that the expiration date appears on the learner's dashboard, and that a renewal can be bought to extend it.

Several extras are sold on their own. The ArcherRN Exit Exam is "a full-length, timed mock NCLEX designed to mirror the real test," with 150 questions, no breaks, performance insights, and answers and rationales after completion; it is valid for 30 days, costs $59 separately and is included free with Sure PASS and Intense PREP. A recorded On-Demand 2-Hour NCLEX Review with downloadable study materials costs $50 for 30 days. The webinar series mixes paid sessions, such as the Pharmacology Crash Course at $75 and Mastering NCLEX Test-Taking Strategies at $35, with free ones such as Rapid 30: Testing Your Nursing Knowledge, Building a Standout Resume: New Grad Nurse Edition, and New Grad Nurses: Lab Review Essentials.

Live teaching and tutoring

Beyond the question bank, Archer Review leans on live teaching. Topic-wise webinars are led by expert instructors and cover each topic in depth, and the live lectures and NGN case studies let learners ask questions of instructors in real time. Private tutoring is booked separately, with tailored study plans and targeted sessions from tutors the home page says specialize in test preparation and strategy. The FAQ says instructors are chosen after "rigorous evaluation of their academic skills, teaching methods, practical experience, and mentoring passion," and learners can reach the NCLEX tutor team by email as well as in live reviews and tutoring sessions.

Pass rate and the Sure PASS Guarantee

The headline figure is a 98.98% pass rate. The home page sets it against national NCLEX pass rates in 2024 of 79.3% for first-time test takers and 52.78% for repeaters. The footnotes matter here. First-time users of Archer Review must achieve high or very high scores in four consecutive readiness assessments before taking the NCLEX, a further note says a 99% pass rate is based on self-reported outcomes from users who completed all Sure PASS program requirements, and the site states that results are not guaranteed and that usage and performance claims rest on internal data and public statistics.

The Sure PASS Guarantee comes with the Sure PASS package, and the compare table lists it for Intense PREP as well. According to the FAQ, it can be redeemed, case by case, as a 100% money-back refund, a program extension or a slot replacement. To qualify, a student must be a first-time user of the Archer Review Q-Bank, complete the Q-Bank, attend the 3-day live webinar, and score High or Very High on four consecutive readiness assessments before the official NCLEX.

Apps, trying it first and schools

Mobile apps for iOS and Android carry NCLEX, NP and TEAS 7 prep. Before buying, learners can try a demo of the Question Bank through the Try Free button, and the company runs Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts it describes as fun and free test prep. For nursing programs, the home page offers exclusive bulk pricing discounts to universities and educational institutions on the NCLEX review suite, arranged through a "Talk to us" contact.

Who it suits

Archer Review suits NCLEX candidates who learn by doing questions. A confident graduate who mainly needs volume and an honest readiness signal can start with Q-Bank + CAT at $79 for a month, while someone who wants content review without fixed class times can take the video combo. Students who want structure and a guarantee will look at Sure PASS, provided they are prepared to finish the Q-Bank, attend the 3-day live review and reach the required readiness scores. Repeat test takers and anxious students are the stated audience for Intense PREP and its weekly small-group tutoring. Nursing schools can buy the NCLEX suite in bulk, and the same company covers the earlier and later steps, from TEAS 7 before nursing school to nurse practitioner and CCRN exams after it.

The caveats follow from the fine print. The pass rate and guarantee both depend on meeting the readiness criteria, the unlimited assessments run out when the question pool does, and tutoring with personal feedback sits only in the most expensive package.
