What it is
Smart Training is a compliance training company whose main product is an OSHA and HIPAA training system for dental practices, sold together with consulting and an LMS for assigning and tracking courses. Smart Training LLC lists its address in Plano, Texas. The home page describes "a complete dental compliance system built to keep your office inspection-ready year-round" and says it is built for private practices, specialty practices, multi-location dental groups and growing DSOs. Beyond dentistry, the company runs an LMS for hospitals, medical clinics and other healthcare institutions, and its product menu extends to construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, trucking and general training. The headline figures on the home page are over 3 million courses delivered, 1,000+ dental practices served, 95%+ client retention and 10,000+ compliance inspections conducted.
What a user actually gets
The dental product is organized around four steps, set out on the home page. It starts with a state-specific site audit, in which an expert looks for compliance gaps and blind spots in the office. The practice then assigns training by role or by individual, with online access for staff. Managers track completion and can access certificates at any time in one place. The last step is ongoing compliance support: access to compliance experts and the option to schedule a virtual inspection. The company calls this "the only dental compliance system that combines OSHA and HIPAA training, consulting support, and real-time tracking in one place", which is its own claim about its market.
The training splits into the areas the home page lists. Dental OSHA compliance covers training, policies and support to keep an office inspection-ready. Dental HIPAA compliance pairs simple employee training with practical tools to protect patient information. Dental assisting training is role-specific, aimed at keeping dental assistants confident and compliant. The FAQ sums up dental compliance as OSHA training, HIPAA training, documentation support and practical tools. A pediatric dentist quoted on the home page says new staff learn quickly and that monthly videos help everyone stay compliant, which shows how the content keeps reaching a practice after onboarding. The menu also lists Dental Compliance Packages and Dental Content Partners.
Consulting is a separate line rather than an extra bolted onto the courses. The home page describes hands-on support for offices that need guidance, updates and expert help, and names support beyond online courses and tools built for real-world office use among its reasons to choose the company. For a practice that has never been through an inspection, that means someone who looks at the office and says what is missing before an inspector does.
The LMS side serves practices and larger employers alike. On the healthcare page, Smart Training describes itself as an LMS that provides ready-made training courses covering narrow medical specialization topics, with a large content library running from how to handle a medical emergency to HIPAA privacy. Built-in analytics let a manager track employee progress, evaluate success rates and see which courses are doing well and which still need improvement. Because the courses are online, staff from nursing assistants to medical doctors can take them anywhere and anytime. On privacy, the page says customer data is kept secure in the cloud, is available only to the customer and is not shared with a third party. The company says it works with compliance experts and medical professionals when developing courses, and follows OSHA and HIPAA regulations closely so that changes reach the courses.
Outside healthcare, the product menu lists compliance training for construction, manufacturing and oil and gas, LMS editions for the manufacturing, construction, healthcare and retail industries, trucking and general training courses, LMS hosting, custom content development, and evacuation maps. The home page offers custom emergency action maps for offices and facilities alongside the training. The feature pages are grouped as management tools, system enhancements, communication tools, and security and customer service.
Customers, partners and pricing
Several partner and customer statements on the home page show who uses the system. AZZ, named on the healthcare page as AZZ Galvanizing, says that with over 50 locations and thousands of employees it relies on Smart Training "to ensure that our employees are appropriately trained before starting." Precoat says the platform makes it easy to train, track progress and support its teams across its facilities, and that custom course support keeps its content current and specific to its needs. Bruker credits customized, OSHA-current training with saving it countless hours. On the dental side, Partnerships for Dentists calls Smart Training its main support for training and for accountability through reporting, and MediClean & Shield describes a collaboration that pairs its infection prevention expertise with Smart Training's regulatory knowledge. A partner listed as Midwest says the team takes the burden of OSHA and HIPAA compliance off doctors and staff and keeps practices current with changing requirements. The healthcare page also gives a broader count than the home page, saying 10,000+ clients choose Smart Training to train their employees.
The dentist testimonial reads in full: "We have been with Smart Training since we opened and it has made our OSHA and HIPAA training effortless. New staff are able to learn quickly and monthly videos help everyone stay compliant. Highly recommend their services!" It is signed Dr Li, Hero Way Pediatric Dentistry.
The home and healthcare pages print no prices, though the menu links to a pricing page and to the dental compliance packages. The healthcare page invites organizations to start a free trial, and both pages offer a demo or a conversation with a compliance specialist.
Who it suits and who it does not
The clearest fit is a dental office, from a single private practice to a multi-location group or DSO, that wants OSHA and HIPAA covered in one arrangement: training staff can finish, records and certificates a manager can show, and an expert to call before an inspection. The state-specific audit and the virtual inspection matter most to an office manager who carries compliance on top of everything else. Clinics and other healthcare organizations get a ready-made medical library with progress analytics, and multi-site industrial employers, as the AZZ, Bruker and Precoat statements show, use the same LMS to make sure workers are trained before they start.
The caveats follow from the focus. The training is built around OSHA and HIPAA rules, so an organization whose obligations come from other regulations will find less of it relevant. The dental offer is where the site goes into the most detail, and buyers in construction, trucking or retail will learn the specifics of those editions mostly through a demo. With no published prices, cost comparisons wait for a conversation with the sales team or the free trial.
