LRN is an ethics and compliance training company whose product is a course library plus a platform for running a company-wide compliance program. It is built for corporate compliance, HR and L&D teams that have to assign mandatory training, prove completion and keep content current across a workforce. The About page says LRN has worked on ethical culture "since 1994," and the company describes itself as "a trusted ethics and compliance partner for over 25 years," with "over 30 million learners trained each year." The home page adds that it is "trusted by 2,500+ organizations worldwide." Its offerings, in the About page's words, include "advisory services; a SaaS education, analytics, and certification platform; library courses, and custom learning content."
The Inspire Library
The training content sits in what the products page calls the "award-winning Inspire Library," which "delivers compelling ethics and compliance learning across 14 core risk areas." The site's training menu names the main ones: anti-bribery and corruption; anti-harassment, discrimination and DEI; anti-money laundering; code of conduct; data privacy, confidentiality and information security; financial conduct and banking regulations; government contracting and relationships; and sanctions and trade controls. A company can pick ready-to-deploy courses and build its own curriculum from the topics that matter to it, or, as the products page puts it, "partner with LRN to create bespoke learning experiences tailored to their culture, values, policies, brand, and unique risk profile."
The library has grown through acquisitions that the About page lists among its milestones: the purchase of Dublin-based Interactive Services in 2020, and of the Compliance Learning business unit from Thomson Reuters in 2022, which the page says expanded the depth of the Inspire library and brought new clients in APAC. The modern Inspire Library itself launched in 2022 alongside the Catalyst platform.
The Catalyst platform
Catalyst is the software layer, described on the home page as "a comprehensive ethics and compliance management platform" for centralizing access, customizing courses and tracking key metrics. It is modular, and the training-related modules are the ones a buyer from an L&D or compliance team will look at first.
Catalyst Design is the course editor. It lets a company modify Inspire Library courses to match its branding and guidelines, add adaptive learning and interactive elements, and "edit characters and scenarios with conversational AI course content." The bespoke training page says it supports gamified elements "like badges, score bars, and power bars to captivate and motivate learners."
Catalyst Reach handles delivery. The products page describes personalized learning paths, automation covering "everything from learner enrollment and course assignments to reporting," and "DOJ-ready completion tracking and reporting." It also lists accessibility features "that support those who need visual support or have physical, neurological, or learning disabilities."
Catalyst Reveal is the analytics module, with real-time monitoring, internal and external benchmarking, alerts and drill-down analysis of program performance. Other modules extend the program beyond courses: Catalyst Policy for the policy lifecycle, including translation "across 70+ languages with AI assistance and human oversight"; Catalyst Voice for employee reporting and case management; Catalyst Disclosures for collecting disclosures and attestations; Catalyst Phishing for simulated phishing with just-in-time microlearning; Catalyst Supplier for training third parties; a Smart Code of Conduct that turns the code into an interactive website; and an E&C Culture Assessment that surveys culture across 10 key dimensions.
Two AI features sit inside the courses. Mentor answers learner questions in real time, "grounding responses in approved course materials and eligible client-provided policy documents," and the bespoke training page says it "supports 44 LRN Library languages at launch." Translation Assist, built into Catalyst Design, identifies English text changes and generates translation suggestions for review, so translated versions stay aligned with the latest English course.
Integrations and standards
For companies that already run another LMS or HR system, the integrations page is detailed. Its categories are AICC, SCORM, SSO, HRIS, SAML, SCIM, xAPI and Dynamic SCORM, and the FAQ answers "Does LRN have xAPI integrations?" with "Yes." Dynamic SCORM lets a company "continue delivering training through your existing LMS while managing course content in Catalyst." The listed connections include Okta, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft 365, Cornerstone, ADP, Docebo, Moodle, Absorb, Litmos, SumTotal, Totara, Coursera, Skillsoft Percipio, Microsoft Entra, OneLogin and PingOne, among many others. Beyond those, the FAQ describes "Secured Web Services Integrations" over SOAP for course assignment and completion data, and an S3 export that LRN hosts so customers can feed Catalyst data into their own reporting tools.
Bespoke training
LRN also builds custom courses, in four tiers set out on the bespoke training page. Foundation turns finished material such as "PowerPoint decks, Word docs, or previous training materials" into an eLearning course on Catalyst templates, with low cost and rapid turnaround. Introduction adds light instructional design, interactive elements, "a summary voiceover, and a 1-minute explainer video." Standard is a co-created, scenario-based course with branching logic and gamification. Advanced is a fully immersive build with storytelling, motion graphics and audio. Around those tiers the page lists video and animation work, gamification features such as badges, branching paths and avatars, and offline products including job aids, in-person training, interactive workbooks and infographics for workforces with limited internet access. The page lists HCM Excellence Award L&D gold and silver wins for work with clients including PepsiCo, Standard Chartered, HP, TE Connectivity, Sanofi and Freeport-McMorRan.
Support, research and pricing
The support page publishes its own performance figures. It reports a 96.6% CSAT score, first responses in under 30 minutes against an industry benchmark of about 1.9 hours, and 80% of issues resolved within 1 hour against a benchmark of about 41.9 hours. Three paid support models are offered: Managed Service, with a dedicated consultant and unlimited admin support; HelpDesk OnDemand, first-line end-user support with a "24–48 hour response SLA"; and Catalyst Admin Support, which includes "unlimited service hours" from a shared pool of consultants.
LRN also publishes research that feeds its advisory work. The 2026 Code of Conduct Report "analyzes over 1,000 codes and surveys 2,000 employees across 15 countries and 16 industries," and the Benchmark of Ethical Culture draws on "nearly 8,000 employees at companies around the world."
The site publishes no prices; every product page leads to a demo request. The site itself is available in English (including UK and Singapore versions), German, Spanish, French, Japanese and Hong Kong Chinese.
Who it suits
LRN fits an organization that wants more than a course catalog: a compliance or HR team that needs a large, maintained ethics and compliance library, a way to rebrand and edit those courses, completion records it can defend, and analytics on how the program is working. Companies with an existing LMS can keep it and pull LRN content in through SCORM, AICC or Dynamic SCORM, while HRIS and SSO connectors handle user sync and login. Multinational teams get translated courses, AI-assisted translation upkeep and a Mentor assistant that works across many languages. The bespoke tiers suit a company that already has policy material and wants it turned into a polished course.
The main caveat is that LRN is a sales-led purchase with no public pricing, and its breadth of modules is more than a small business with a few annual training requirements will use. For a compliance function that runs a real program across regions and risk areas, that breadth is the point.
