ProTrainings
Tap a star to rate
ProTrainings is a UK training provider for first aid, health and safety and security awareness, run by ProTrainings Europe Ltd. It sells to three groups at once: employers who need staff trained and certified, individual learners, and instructors who teach or resell its courses. The home page describes "accredited e-learning, blended, hybrid, and classroom courses in First Aid, Health & Safety, and more," "trusted by thousands of UK companies and instructors," and claims "3,000,000+ certified learners" and a "Nationwide 1500+ Instructor network." The courses run on the company's own platform; the footer notes that "this site is powered by the ProTrainings platform."
Courses and formats
The home page names its top courses in three groups. First aid: First Aid at Work (FAW), Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), Paediatric First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. Health and safety: fire safety training, manual handling and general health and safety. Security and terrorism awareness: Martyn's Law training and bleed control. Behind those headline courses sits a catalog the site counts as "350+ Online Courses."
Delivery comes in four forms: classroom training, online, blended (online modules combined with in-person training) and on-site training at the employer's premises. A Find a Class page lists classroom sessions. The FAQ confirms that formats can be combined, offering "online, in-person, or a blended mix of both" to suit a team's schedule, learning preferences and compliance needs. One of the two learner testimonials on the home page describes that mix: "The online modules were easy to follow, and the instructor-led session was fantastic."
On accreditation, the FAQ says "all of our courses are CPD certified and meet the requirements of relevant UK frameworks," and adds that the company offers "HSE, Ofqual, and Skills for Health aligned training where applicable." The home page phrases the same point as "HSE-compliant, Ofqual-regulated, and CPD-certified training," and links to an accreditations page and a certificate validation page.
What a learner gets
The home page lists what comes with a ProTrainings course: "Downloadable student manuals," "Expiry reminders," "Weekly refreshers," "8 months of access to videos," "Watch from any device," "CPD statements" and "Evidence-Based Learning statements." The FAQ goes further on access after a course: "Employees retain access to the platform even after completing their training," so they "can revisit course content, refresh their knowledge, and download certificates whenever they need to."
For employers
For companies, the pitch is a single place to run compliance training. The home page says ProTrainings helps "companies of all sizes streamline compliance training" and lets them "manage employee certifications, monitor progress, and meet regulatory requirements" from a company dashboard. It lists a "fully managed group training and reporting dashboard" and a "UK-based support team" among its reasons to choose it.
The FAQ fills in the commercial side. ProTrainings can "create tailored course packages based on your industry, team size, and training needs" and "provide discounts for groups or ongoing training requirements." Online courses "are available instantly," in-person or blended training can be arranged "often within just a few days," and "for larger teams, we also offer a fully managed onboarding service." A quote form asks for company size in bands from under 10 to 90+ employees, and buyers can book a free group training discussion. The home page names healthcare and social care, construction and trades, education and childcare, hospitality and retail, and security and the public sector as the workplaces it serves. Course prices are not printed on the home page; group pricing comes through the quote form.
For instructors and resellers
Instructors are the third audience. The home page invites trainers to "become a certified ProTrainings instructor and deliver classroom or blended training across the UK," with benefits listed as teaching "accredited courses with full support," a listing in the national directory, and "exclusive training resources." Those who need a teaching qualification first can turn to ITG Instructor Training, which the home page describes as "part of ProTrainings," offering "expert-led courses designed to help you become a confident and qualified instructor" in first aid, health and safety, education and training, and specialist subjects.
The Earn Commission page describes a reseller program for anyone with an audience: "Earn up to 40% commission by selling ProTrainings courses either online or through direct sales." The page says ProTrainings offers "over 300 video online courses" that resellers can add to their websites, that "it is free to set up, there are no ongoing costs," and that a dashboard tracks "the number of clicks your post or button received, the number of sign-ups from those clicks and the number of purchases." Resellers get course buttons for websites and emails, a ShareThis tool for social posts, and custom discount codes for word-of-mouth referrals, which the page suggests making for shows or special offers; each visitor, sign-up and purchase that comes through these tools is credited to the reseller. Commission continues on repeat business: the company says it will "allow you to earn commission for that customer for their lifetime," and it pays "once your balance reaches £50 exclusive of VAT direct to your bank account on receipt of your invoice."
Equipment and specialist trauma training
ProTrainings also runs a store for first aid and training supplies, with AED units, first aid kits and CPR manikins listed as best sellers. The home page says the company is a UK distributor of PractiMan manikins, Norse Rescue emergency and trauma products, WoundClot hemostatic dressings and TrueClot trauma simulation tools. A related brand, ProTrauma, offers trauma training and kits "from catastrophic bleed control to Martyn's Law preparedness," aimed at security, healthcare and emergency response professionals.
Reviews and who it suits
The footer reports that "ProTrainings is rated 4.6 out of 5 based on 82931 ratings," and a second testimonial on the home page reads "I feel much more confident in providing first aid at work. Highly recommended!"
ProTrainings suits a UK employer that needs first aid at work, fire safety, manual handling or Martyn's Law training for its staff, wants to mix online learning with classroom sessions, and needs a dashboard and expiry reminders to keep certificates current. It also fits a first aid or safety trainer looking for a course library to teach from, a directory listing, or a commission scheme to resell online courses. The courses are framed around UK requirements such as HSE, Ofqual and Martyn's Law, which is exactly what its UK customers need.
