OSHA Training School
Tap a star to rate
OSHA Training School is an online store for workplace safety courses, selling to individual workers who need an OSHA card and to employers who need to train a team. It does not hold the OSHA authorization itself: the FAQ says "our OSHA Outreach courses are provided in partnership with UL PureSafety, an OSHA-authorized online Outreach provider," and the home page says courses "are powered by PureEHS (PureSafety)." Some other titles come from a second partner; the Hazard Communication package, for example, is "powered by HSI, an OSHA-authorized training provider." The business page claims "2.7M+ Courses Completed" and a library of "1000+ EHS Courses," and the home page describes the company as an "Industry Leader Since 2018," "trusted by 5M+ professionals worldwide."
What the catalog covers
The core courses are the four OSHA Outreach courses: 10-hour and 30-hour training for construction and for general industry. The home page explains the difference: OSHA 10 is "designed for entry-level workers in construction and general industry," while OSHA 30 is "designed for supervisors, managers, and workers with safety responsibilities" and covers "hazard recognition, risk control, and workplace safety leadership." The FAQ fills in the topics: the general industry 10-hour course covers "fall protection, electrical safety, and hazard communication," and its 30-hour version adds "confined spaces and welding safety," while the construction 30-hour course goes deeper on "scaffolding, excavation, and crane safety." Each is offered in English and in Spanish, the Spanish version "taught start to finish in Spanish," and each includes the official DOL card.
New York City construction training is a large second line. The home page notes that SST courses "are required by the NYC Department of Buildings under Local Law 196 of 2017," with 40 hours for workers and 62 hours for supervisors, delivered "fully online and self-paced" with an SST DOB Connect Card. The menu lists SST 10-hour, 40-hour worker, 30-hour worker, 22-hour, 32-hour and 62-hour supervisor courses, the 8-hour worker and 16-hour supervisor refreshers, a 40-hour Site Safety Manager course, an 8-hour SSM refresher and a 4-hour supported scaffold class by webinar, and a path to renew an expired SST card. The FAQ maps out the routes: a 40-hour SST card takes OSHA 30 Construction plus 8-hour fall prevention and 2-hour drug and alcohol awareness, and a worker who took OSHA 30 within the last 4 years only needs the 10-hour SST package. A supervisor who already holds OSHA 30 needs the 32-hour package to reach the 62-hour card.
Beyond OSHA and SST, the menu lists HAZWOPER at 40, 24 and 8 hours, a 4-hour Hazmat course, Hazard Communication, an asbestos hazards suite, fall protection, confined space for construction, a commercial drivers suite, personal protective equipment, first aid and CPR, bloodborne pathogens, heat stress, MSHA new miner and annual refresher training, NFPA 70E, a DOT 60/60 supervisor course, oil and gas training, forklift and powered industrial truck training, semiconductor general training and a California sexual harassment course. The FAQ explains who each group is for; HAZWOPER 40 is for workers "directly involved in cleanup operations, treatment, storage, and disposal of hazardous substances," while the 8-hour refresher is "required annually" for those who completed the 24- or 40-hour course.
How a course works
The Hazard Communication page shows the format in detail. It is "a complete 3-course online Hazard Communication training package covering GHS chemical labeling, workplace safety signs, and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)." The learner registers, pays, receives login details by email, and gets "six months of access from your first login," 24/7 on any device. Each course ends with a quiz that must be passed, and after all three the certificate of completion can be downloaded and printed immediately.
The OSHA Outreach courses follow the same pattern, with one extra step for the card. The FAQ says "certificate of completion is available immediately" and "the official OSHA DOL card is processed and mailed within 4-6 weeks." The home page adds that learners can "Earn IACET CEUs," which it labels "accredited credits." Support is by 24/7 live chat, plus a phone line and an email address. The home page also lists state guides for every state and Guam, and a Connecticut page pairs the course prices with a summary of that state's OSHA requirements.
Prices
Prices are printed on the course pages, usually as a sale price beside a crossed-out regular price:

- OSHA 30 Hour Construction, English or Spanish: $159, regular $189.

Enrollment takes "3 simple steps": click Register Now, select the number of seats, then check out and pay. The FAQ says you can pay "using a credit card or a purchase order if enrolling 10 or more students." A line under the enrollment steps on the home page reads "Secure checkout • Instant access • Money-back guarantee," and the site links to a separate refund policy.
For businesses
The business page offers "100% OSHA-Authorized Training for group purchases with discounted rates," with "Bulk Enrollment & Group Discounts" and "Exclusive Corporate Pricing." Businesses get a free business account with admin access to manage team training, and the page lists a "LMS - Progress Tracking Dashboard," "Advanced Analytics & Reporting" on learner progress and completion rates, and "Personalized Account Management" from an account manager "who will tailor the LMS to meet your specific needs." A Get a Free Quote form handles larger orders. The page names construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, and warehousing as the industries it serves.
Who it suits
OSHA Training School suits a worker who wants an OSHA 10 or 30 card at a posted sale price, in English or Spanish, and a New York City construction worker or supervisor who needs to assemble SST hours online and wants the routes explained clearly. Employers get seat-based checkout, purchase orders from ten students, a free business account with a tracking dashboard and an account manager, which makes it workable for contractors training whole crews. The broad EHS catalog lets a safety manager buy HAZWOPER, HazCom, MSHA and first aid training from the same place. The one practical caveat is timing: the DOL card arrives four to six weeks after the course, so workers who need proof sooner will rely on the printable certificate in the meantime.
