eLearning.ch is a Swiss eLearning agency that sells ready-made compliance training for companies and builds custom online courses on its own platform. Its pages are in German and describe the business as "Branchenspezifische Compliance-Schulungen für Schweizer Unternehmen" (industry-specific compliance training for Swiss companies), delivered digitally and ready to use at once. The reader it serves is the HR, compliance or training lead at a Swiss company who needs staff trained on legal obligations, and who may also need help choosing, running or repairing a learning platform. The home page tagline sets the tone: "Weil Ihre Mitarbeitenden der beste Schutz sind" (because your employees are your best protection). The footer signs off with "Made in Switzerland," and customers log in through a client area to take their courses.
The compliance course library
The ready-made catalog is organized into four subject areas: data protection under the Swiss nDSG, cyber security, first aid (Erste Hilfe) and fire safety (Brandschutz). The home page calls these courses digital, interactive and "sofort einsatzbereit" (ready to use immediately), so a company can roll them out without commissioning anything. Customers reach their courses through a client login, and the site offers a live demo: a visitor fills in a short form and gets immediate access to an interactive demo.
Custom courses
When the library does not fit, the agency builds courses to order. The custom eLearning page names four typical uses: onboarding new staff in a standardized way regardless of location; product training on new products, tools or processes; internal policies such as company rules and a code of conduct; and mandatory training, where the page promises to meet industry-specific legal training duties "digital und nachweisbar" (digitally and with proof of completion).
The process runs in four steps. A first consultation covers requirements, audience and learning goals, and the page says it is free and non-binding. The team then writes a course concept with content structure, exercises and instructional design. Production adds interactive elements, an AI tutor (KI-Tutor) and the customer's branding. At launch the finished course is made available on eLearning.ch's platform, and the customer receives a link to it.
The reference project on the page is for Implenia: an interactive leadership development course produced in four languages, with AI-generated video presenters and practical scenarios. It shows that the agency's custom work reaches beyond compliance into management training, and that it can deliver a course in several languages.
LMS and authoring tool consulting
The second service is independent advice on which learning software to buy. The consulting page opens with the problem that there are hundreds of platforms and tools, and lists the ones it works with: Moodle, TalentLMS, LearnDash, Canvas, iSpring Learn and Docebo among learning management systems, and Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, iSpring Suite, Elucidat and Lectora among authoring tools. It also offers to explain which e-learning standard suits a company's setup, naming SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, cmi5 and AICC.
The engagement has four stages: a requirements analysis covering goals, audiences, infrastructure and budget, with clear selection criteria; an evaluation of suitable platforms and authoring tools against those criteria, which the page describes as objective and vendor-independent; a reasoned recommendation, with a live demo of the strongest candidates on request; and, if wanted, help with setup, configuration and onboarding the customer's team. The agency's pitch is that it is a practitioner rather than a sales partner, and the page states plainly: "Viele Beratungsfirmen empfehlen das Tool, an dem sie am meisten verdienen. Wir nicht." (Many consultancies recommend the tool that earns them the most. We don't.) It lists hands-on experience with 20+ tools and platforms, a focus on the Swiss market, and support from advice through to implementation from one source. A first 30-minute call to assess needs is free.
Moodle support and maintenance
The third service is for companies that already run Moodle. The support page promises fast, hands-on help from Switzerland "Ohne Agentur-Overhead, ohne Warteschlange" (without agency overhead, without a queue), and argues that a company does not need a full-time administrator, only an experienced expert to call when needed. The work covers six areas:
- updates and upgrades of Moodle core and plugins, PHP compatibility and database migrations
- bug fixing, including plugin conflicts and configuration problems
- performance optimization through database tuning, caching and server settings
- theme and design work to bring a company's logo, colors and layouts into Moodle
- audio and multimedia, including integrating SCORM packages and building H5P activities
- security and compliance: security updates, access control checks, nDSG conformity and backups
The FAQ says the team supports all current versions from Moodle 4.5 LTS to the newest 5.x release and helps with upgrades from older 3.x and 4.x installations. It normally responds within one to two working days, and in an emergency, such as a platform outage or a security hole, it tries to react as quickly as possible, including outside office hours. A typical project moves through analysis, a quote, remote implementation that usually takes a few days, and a joint sign-off with documentation. Customers can book a single task without a subscription, a fixed-price project, or a monthly or quarterly maintenance contract with regular updates, monitoring and priority support. The FAQ adds that the team also knows iSpring, TalentLMS, LearnDash and other platforms.
One customer quote appears on the page, from Andreas Thanner, managing director of Artesian Education: «eLearning.ch half mir schnell und unkompliziert bei einem grösseren Moodle Upgrade.» (eLearning.ch helped me quickly and without fuss with a major Moodle upgrade.)
Pricing
The site prints no prices. For Moodle work the FAQ says costs depend on scope, billed "transparent auf Stundenbasis oder mit Pauschalpreisen für klar definierte Projekte" (transparently by the hour or at flat rates for clearly defined projects), with a non-binding quote and no hidden costs. The first conversation about a custom course or a software choice is free and non-binding.
Who it suits
eLearning.ch fits a Swiss company that wants its data protection, cyber security, first aid and fire safety training handled by one local partner, and perhaps a few custom courses for onboarding or internal policies on the same platform. It also suits an organization that already runs Moodle and lacks the in-house skills to keep it updated, fast and secure, and a training team about to choose a new LMS or authoring tool that wants advice from someone who is not selling a particular product.
The ready-made catalog is small, four areas built around Swiss rules, so a company that needs a broad library of soft-skills or leadership titles off the shelf will be looking at commissioned work rather than ready-made courses. Every engagement beyond the standard courses starts with a quote, which suits project buyers better than anyone wanting a self-service price list.
