What SimpliTrain is
SimpliTrain is a training management system with a built-in learning management system, aimed at organizations that run instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (vILT) at scale. The homepage calls it "The most flexible instructor-led training platform" and the footer "The First Unified Platform (LMS + TMS)". Its structured data credits Mundrisoft as the company behind it. The FAQ says SimpliTrain "combines a Training Management System (TMS) for scheduling, trainer utilization, and multi-location operations with a built-in Learning Management System (LMS), assessments, and course authoring." The homepage says organizations can deliver ILT and vILT at scale "without relying on disconnected systems, spreadsheets, or complex integrations." The pitch is that a training team should not need a TMS, an LMS and a set of spreadsheets stitched together to run classes, and that every module beyond the ILT core is optional.
Who it is for
The FAQ names two audiences: professional training companies that run training centers (single or multi-location, often multi-lingual) and enterprise training departments in industries where instructor-led training is critical, listing manufacturing, healthcare, automotive, IT and aviation. The solutions menu adds multi-tenant and franchise networks and the government and public sector, with use cases covering compliance training, leadership development, technical and skills training, customer and partner training, and certification programs. For an L&D team, that places it in the business LMS category as much as the TMS one.
Running ILT operations
The operations engine is the core of the product. Administrators schedule sessions and cohorts, allocate trainers, manage rooms and resources, and coordinate multiple locations from one place, whether programs run in person, virtually or as a hybrid. The platform menu lists cohort and batch management, a multi-tenant TMS, training workflow automation and learner engagement tools. For multi-location operations, the FAQ says training companies run several centers, "sometimes across countries", from a single platform with localized content, language-specific cohorts and location-level reporting. The multi-tenant architecture also supports franchise and partner models in which each location operates semi-independently.
Delivering classroom, virtual and blended training
For vILT, the FAQ says SimpliTrain "integrates natively with Zoom, Adobe Connect, Microsoft Teams, and other video conferencing platforms". Trainers and learners get one-click session join, automatic attendance tracking, recording management, and post-session assessments and feedback inside the platform. Blended programs that mix classroom, virtual and self-paced content are managed as one program. The platform menu adds virtual classrooms, attendance tracking and a mobile learner experience.
There is a mobile app as well. A comparison page on the site says "SimpliTrain provides a native mobile app for both learners and training coordinators": learners open course content, join virtual sessions and view certificates from any device, while coordinators can mark attendance on site, check schedules and manage sessions from the training floor.
Content, assessments and certification
The LMS side is native and optional. The FAQ says SimpliTrain includes a built-in course authoring tool and "a full assessment engine with question banks, proctoring, certifications, and surveys." The menu lists course management, AI course authoring, learning paths, certifications and programs, a content library, and SCORM and external content. Teams that already author in Articulate or another tool can bring content in via SCORM or xAPI, and the site offers converters from PPT, PDF, DOC and MP4 files to SCORM. Assessment features cover exams, question banks, proctoring, certifications and grading, skill tracking and surveys. A course library of ready-made industry training is linked from the resources menu.
Selling training
For training companies, SimpliTrain doubles as a sales platform. The same page says it "includes a public course catalog, online registration, payment processing, B2B invoicing, subscription billing, and multi-tenant client portals", so commercial providers can run fee-based external programs alongside internal training. The menu adds an e-commerce storefront, pricing and discounts, subscriptions and bundles, and corporate or B2B sales. A company blog post describes using SimpliTrain as a white-label LMS for partner training, with a branded portal that matches the company's own look.
Reporting and integrations
Measurement focuses on operations: trainer utilization, capacity and revenue per trainer, real-time dashboards and multi-tenant reporting. On integrations, the homepage lists "SSO, HRIS, CRM, video conferencing, payment, accounting, existing LMS or content libraries". The FAQ says customers who already run an LMS can keep it and use SimpliTrain as their ILT operations layer, and that it integrates with Cornerstone, Docebo, SAP SuccessFactors, Absorb "and any SCORM/xAPI-compliant system", with the option to move onto the native LMS later.
Pricing and implementation
The pricing model is the product's main commercial argument. The homepage headline is "Flat Pricing. Unlimited learners." and the FAQ explains that SimpliTrain "uses flat pricing based on the number of administrators and instructors who run training not the number of learners", so a program with 500 learners and one with 50,000 cost the same if the team running them is the same size. Customers can also choose modular pricing and pay only for the components they use (TMS, LMS, assessments, authoring), adding more later. That page also says SimpliTrain publishes its pricing on its website, though no per-admin figure appears on the homepage or the comparison page. The FAQ claims customers find this model 30 to 60% more cost-effective at scale than per-learner pricing, a figure the company gives without a named source.
Implementation depends on scope. The FAQ says customers using SimpliTrain as a TMS over an existing LMS typically go live in 4 to 6 weeks, while full-platform implementations take 8 to 12 weeks. The implementation team handles data migration from legacy systems, HRIS and tool integrations, and trainer onboarding. Prospects book a 30-minute demo tailored to their programs, and the footer links a help center, professional services, an RFP form and a cancellation and refund policy.
Who it suits
SimpliTrain fits training companies and enterprise L&D teams whose work is scheduled, instructor-led sessions across trainers, rooms and locations, especially those that also want self-paced content, assessments and certificates in the same system. Flat pricing by admins and instructors rewards organizations that train large and growing learner populations with a stable team. Training companies selling courses to the public or to corporate clients gain the catalog, storefront and client portals, and franchise networks gain the multi-tenant setup. A team that only needs simple self-paced courses for a handful of learners will use a fraction of what the platform is built for.
