What LANcloud is
LANcloud is web-based administration software for seminar providers, academies, course providers, group houses and coaches, made by LANsoftware GmbH of Fulda, Germany. It is a training management system rather than a place to host video lessons: it runs the business around courses and coaching sessions, from the booking portal and scheduling to invoicing, attendance and feedback. The homepage calls it "deine All-in-One-Software für Seminare, Gruppen und Buchungen" (your all-in-one software for seminars, groups and bookings) and describes it as a complete web solution that brings planning, booking and billing into one system. The company says it has developed "intelligente Software für Bildungseinrichtungen und Gruppenhäuser" (intelligent software for educational institutions and group houses) since 1990. LANsoftware is also a Sage Business Partner Gold selling Sage ERP and HR software to small and mid-sized firms, but this entry covers LANcloud, its education product. The site is in German and addresses customers informally.
Who it is built for
The industry menu lists academies, seminar providers, course providers, guest and group houses, youth holiday programs, church education work, healthcare, and clubs and associations. A dedicated coaching page targets life and mindset coaches, business coaches and niche coaches. That spread matters for reading this entry: LANcloud serves an organization running instructor-led seminars and group programs (the training management and business LMS reader) as much as a coach selling sessions (the coaching platform reader). The homepage claims that its automation cuts administrative work by up to 90 %, a figure the company states as its own.
Booking, scheduling and payment
The booking portal is the center of the product. The coaching page says booking a coaching session becomes "so unkompliziert wie Online-Shopping" (as straightforward as online shopping). The portal embeds directly into the provider's own website without programming knowledge, matching the provider's corporate design, and booking links can also be shared on social media or in mailings. Clients book on their own, pick free slots and pay online, while confirmations, booking updates and invoices go out automatically in the background. Dates and availability update automatically, and digital invoices and booking confirmations are included.
Clients can also reschedule or cancel themselves, which the page sums up as booking "ohne E-Mail-Pingpong" (without email ping-pong). Automatic reminders aim to cut no-shows, and each client sees the place, time, video link and invoice in one spot. Bookings run around the clock, and the page says double bookings are avoided.
On the provider side, offers are created and structured centrally. A coach or trainer can plan staggered sessions, combine one-to-one and group sessions, set prices individually, add discounts and special promotions, define booking rules and cancellation conditions, and cap capacity to prevent overbooking. The feature list on the coaching page adds event series, group events, waiting lists, resource planning, merchandise and articles, certificate creation, ticket management and a customer portal.
Running seminars and teams
For an organization with several trainers or coaches, LANcloud sets up individual team accounts with flexible roles and access rights, so each team member sees only the data relevant to them. Permanent and freelance coaches manage their own assignments. The FAQ says the software coordinates several locations or programs, updates changes to appointments, bookings or resources in real time, and so prevents double bookings across them. Appointments, participant data and invoices are managed in one place for the whole team.
Participant administration covers address and client data stored centrally, automatic assignment to the right offer, click-based attendance tracking and documentation of registrations, attendance and feedback. The page singles out group offers with many participants as a strength. Niche programs can be categorized, structured and presented to clients, who can book, view their appointments and follow their own progress.
The wider menu shows the scope beyond coaching: online seminar administration, a resource plan, an interface to financial accounting, a digital notice board and a Clean & Repair App 2.0 for group houses, plus hosted and on-premises products under the separate Haus- & AkademieManager line.
Online and hybrid sessions
LANcloud handles in-person, online and hybrid formats. The coaching FAQ says digital sessions are integrated by automatically adding "Zoom- oder Teams-Links" (Zoom or Teams links) to appointments, and that participants receive dial-in details, times, materials and instructions in one place. Bookings, reminders and feedback can all be managed digitally, and hybrid events with in-person and online participants side by side can be organized in the same system.
Evaluation and feedback
Evaluation is built in. Providers create individual questionnaires for each offer, and the FAQ says that "Direkt nach dem Termin werden die Fragebögen automatisch an alle Teilnehmenden versendet" (right after the appointment the questionnaires are sent automatically to all participants). Responses can be evaluated in real time to spot trends and areas to improve. The page also mentions comprehensive reports and analyses for optimizing courses and coaching programs, and a seminar evaluation module appears in the feature list.
Data protection and accessibility
The coaching page states that client data is captured and processed in line with the DSGVO (Germany's term for the GDPR). It lists encrypted data transfer and storage, differentiated access rights for team members, automatic deletion periods with optional anonymization, and legally sound templates. The FAQ also says the booking portal complies with the BFSG, Germany's accessibility law, so participants with disabilities can book without barriers.
Pricing, trial and support
Neither the homepage nor the coaching page prints a price. The coaching FAQ mentions "einem attraktiven Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das sich schon bei wenigen Buchungen lohnt" (good value for money that pays off after only a few bookings), and the homepage lists an "Innovatives, erfolgsorientiertes Abrechnungsmodell" (innovative, success-oriented billing model) among the company's strengths. Prospects can request a free demo account, book a free and non-binding online presentation, or use the contact form. The FAQ says a live demo and trial phases are available, and that the team can set up a first coaching offer together with a new customer. LANsoftware also runs paid workshops, including a basic LANcloud training course, along with webinars and a best-practice series explaining features.
The homepage cites more than 35 years of market experience and 4.500 Anwendende (4,500 users) for the company as a whole, together with individual support and training. The coaching FAQ describes a support team familiar with the needs of coaches and education providers.
Who it suits
LANcloud fits German-speaking seminar providers, academies, course providers and group houses that need a booking portal, scheduling, invoicing and evaluation in one administration system, and coaches who want clients to book and pay online without email back and forth. The FAQ says it works for a solo coach with only a few appointments as well as a provider with several coaches and programs, because the solution is modular. A team coordinating trainers, rooms and locations gets the most from the real-time scheduling and access rights. The interface and site are German, and LANcloud is an administration system: providers who mainly want to publish recorded video courses for self-paced learners will need a separate course player alongside it.
