What Virti is
Virti is an AI role-play and video training platform. Its FAQ describes it as a way to bring "learning to life with artificial intelligence and immersive videos," giving organizations realistic scenarios where teams practice the conversations that matter "in a safe and measurable environment." Learners talk, out loud or by chat, to AI avatars the company calls Virtual Humans, get scored on each attempt, and repeat until they are ready. The FAQ names Learning and Development teams, HR leaders and business managers as the main buyers, for sales, leadership, customer service and high-stakes communication, and adds that Virti is widely used in healthcare, manufacturing and transportation for compliance and clinical skills training.
Building scenarios
The platform has four parts: Create, Learn, Analyze and Scale, plus a separate AI Coaching product. Create is a no-code builder. The FAQ says "Virti is designed for L&D professionals, not developers," and that the scenario builder and Virtual Human creator need no technical expertise. The platform page lists what the builder does:
- branching scenarios and full conversation trees, which can be chained into end-to-end experiences;
- Virtual Humans generated "from a simple text prompt," with appearance, mood and objectives you can customize;
- AI content generation that turns a text prompt, or uploaded PDFs, slides or scripts, into a complete scenario;
- a text-based chat mode for roles where messaging is the main channel, such as customer support;
- ready-made templates for sales discovery, objection handling, de-escalation and onboarding;
- duplicating and adapting a scenario for a new product or team.
You control each Virtual Human's objectives, persona, background and tone, and can script specific dialogue paths. Besides AI conversation, Virti supports "fully branching interactive video scenarios where learners make decisions that affect the outcome," shot in 2D, 3D or 360°. Certified content partners can storyboard, record and produce custom interactive video and VR experiences for organizations that do not want to film in-house.
What learners get
Learners hold real-time, speech-to-speech conversations with 3D or stylized 2D Virtual Humans on mobile, desktop or VR headsets. The FAQ names Meta Quest and HTC Vive and says progress syncs across devices. Every session is scored automatically on empathy, clarity, confidence and pacing, and the learner gets feedback straight after each attempt. The homepage shows sample characters for healthcare (delivering difficult news), customer service (de-escalation) and leadership (giving feedback).
AI Coaching adds a private, reflective layer. A session runs in four steps: choose the moment, practice it with a Virtual Human, reflect with a coach that "asks questions rather than handing out scores," and agree next steps. "The session ends with a short action plan. The learner returns to it before the next session, and the coach picks up where they left off." The coach remembers prior sessions, so "goals and action plans carry forward between sessions." Organizations can load their own competency framework, values or sales method and set the coaching style. Privacy is designed in: leaders see aggregated themes and skill progression, while full transcripts and personal action plans stay with the learner.
Analytics and integration
Analyze covers automatic speech and tone scoring, real-time team progress, skill gap detection across cohorts, and feedback surveys before and after training. The FAQ says the analytics engine "captures detailed data from every training session," including learner responses, time spent, performance scores and behavioral trends over time.
For rollout, Virti supports "SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and xAPI (Tin Can)" and names Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday Learning and Moodle among the LMS platforms it works with. The homepage adds that Virti can be embedded in an LMS and connected through Virti Connect, with "signed access, course links and learning recommendations." SSO runs through SAML 2.0. The partners page names Google Cloud (Gemini), Microsoft Azure (speech and OpenAI models), AWS hosting, Deepgram and ElevenLabs for speech, and a Workday marketplace integration.
Plans and prices
The pricing page lists three plans, with annual billing saving 10% on the first two:
- Teams: $359 per month, billed annually at $4,308. It includes 60 credits a month, up to 5 administrators, up to 25 learners, 3 Virtual Humans, 3 interactive videos, 5 concurrent sessions and self-service support.
- Business: $1,079 per month, billed annually at $12,948, with a 12-month commitment. It includes 3,000 credits a year, up to 150 learners, 10 Virtual Humans, 10 interactive videos, 25 concurrent sessions, SCORM/xAPI LMS integration, extended role-based access control and priority support.
- Enterprise: an annual commitment from $25,000 per year, with custom pricing and multi-year discounts. It adds scalable learner and content capacity, SSO, audit logs, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, quarterly business reviews, a custom MSA and DPA, custom video avatars on request and SLA-backed priority support.
The feature comparison further down the same page gives lower learner limits (up to 10 on Teams, up to 100 on Business), so the plan card and the table do not match. That table also ties languages to the plan: English only on Teams, 10 languages on Business and 40+ on Enterprise. CSV data export and API access appear in the table, and support steps up from email to priority email and chat to a dedicated CSM with phone.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no credit card, giving "full access to all Business features." If you do not pick a plan, the account is paused and "your content is never deleted without explicit request." Plans can be upgraded, downgraded or canceled at any time, and Virti offers discounts for verified nonprofits, universities and NHS-affiliated institutions. If a contract is not renewed, the FAQ says Virti works with the customer "on a data export and offboarding plan."
Security and results
The site says Virti is ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, with data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), US, UK and EU data residency options, and a 99.9% uptime SLA. It runs on AWS.
Virti's headline claims are that customers "upskill their people 40% faster" and that "organisations like Amazon have seen a 92% onboarding improvement for new hire managers." The homepage also reports that 60% of learners found Virti more effective for role-play than face-to-face training.
Who it suits
Virti fits L&D, sales enablement and customer service teams that need people to rehearse conversations, and healthcare educators training clinical communication, where VR and 360° video add realism. The Teams plan lets a small group start without a sales call, and Enterprise covers SSO, audit logs and data residency for large rollouts. It is less suited to a team that only needs knowledge courses, since Virti is built around practice and scoring rather than content libraries.
