eClass is a Chilean EdTech company that designs and runs online programs for working professionals, mostly in partnership with universities and educational institutions in Latin America. The site describes it as "una EdTech chilena con más de 22 años de experiencia en educación digital" (a Chilean EdTech with more than 22 years of experience in digital education) that develops "programas propios y en alianza con universidades e instituciones educacionales de Latinoamérica" (its own programs, and programs in alliance with universities and educational institutions in Latin America). For a learner, the core product is the diplomado, a continuing-education program for professionals; the Chile site sums up its offer as "Cursos y Diplomados online o semipresenciales" (online or blended courses and diplomados). eClass runs country sites for Chile, Peru, Colombia and Paraguay next to a global site, and its address is Apoquindo 5400 in Las Condes.

What eClass does inside a program

The FAQ is clear about the model. Asked whether eClass is a university, it answers no: eClass is an EdTech specializing in online learning that builds programs for individuals and companies, both with partner universities and institutions and under its own brand. Asked whether it is only a study platform, it again says no: "En eClass somos cerca de 280 colaboradores" (eClass has about 280 staff), with specialized teams behind the whole learning experience, from building the offer and developing content to methodology, technology and student support.

The site breaks the work into five parts. Experience: eClass anticipates training trends, turns them into an academic offer, and takes charge of the learner's whole study experience, from choosing a program to finishing it. Content: programs are developed through curriculum design and instructional design, with eClass's own experts working alongside professors or professionals from the partner institutions. Platform: eClass has its own learning platform, which it updates continuously for new learning needs and different learner profiles. Support: it combines technology and human support to accompany each student individually and help them complete the program. Certification: learning is recognized with certificates and diplomas issued either by eClass Academy or by the partner university or institution, depending on the program. The FAQ adds that eClass curates and updates its programs continuously in line with new trends and the needs of the labor market.

That division of labor matters to a learner. On a partner program, the university or institution issues the certificate; eClass designs the experience, connects content and technology, and supports students through the course.

The catalog

The Chile site organizes study by partner. Programs are listed under Universidad del Desarrollo (business, education and psychology), Duoc UC (business), Universidad Finis Terrae (health, education, engineering and business), Universidad Andrés Bello (law, education and health), and INACAP (diplomados and courses). Alongside them sit eClass's own lines: eClass Academy programs in business and digital trends, eClass Academy English courses, and Open eClass free courses.

The program counts on the Chile page give a sense of scale. Business is the largest single block, with 17 diplomados and 64 courses. Other blocks list health programs with 9 diplomados and 6 courses, education programs with 4 diplomados and 18 courses, engineering with 2 diplomados and 7 courses, and law with 5 diplomados. Further entries list 26 diplomados and 19 courses, 6 specializations, 7 diplomados and 28 courses, 15 business diplomados, and a block of 59 courses. For an executive education buyer, that range means programs from a single short course up to a university diplomado in the same field.

eClass Academy is the company's own brand. The FAQ says it certifies programs "enfocados en aprendizajes de aplicación inmediata" (focused on learning with immediate application), which positions it as the practical, skills-first option next to the university diplomados. Its English program is one annual course across 6 levels, and a separate English line serves companies.

Open eClass is a line of free courses, listed as "Cursos Gratuitos - MOOCS" with 19 free courses on the Chile page, all 100% online. The newest free course promoted on the global site is "Ventas en Instagram con apoyo de la IA" (Instagram sales with the help of AI), which teaches strategies to attract new customers in 2 hours. eClass also offers free downloadable guides: one with practical activities to improve leadership, communication, analytics and data for work, and networking and personal brand over 10 days, and another on emotional intelligence, AI applications at work and how to read a dashboard.

eClass Corporate

The company sells training to organizations under eClass Corporate, with three lines on the site: corporate academic training, custom solutions, and English programs for companies. The Chile page says companies can grow their teams "con cursos, rutas de aprendizaje e inglés" (with courses, learning paths and English), reaching the scope they want "mediante certificaciones, modalidades y estrategias diseñadas de acuerdo a los objetivos de tu empresa" (through certifications, modalities and strategies designed around the company's objectives). The Chile page also describes eClass Corporate as having "más de 22 años enfocados en el desarrollo y el potencial de tus equipos" (more than 22 years focused on developing your teams and their potential). The global page adds that eClass Corporate builds a training plan adapted to the organization's goals, bringing wellbeing and professional development to its staff.

Prices and contact

The site shows no prices for diplomados, courses or corporate plans. Learners who are unsure which program fits are invited to get in touch for guidance through a contact form, and the site lists a phone line and a student login area. A testimonials page presents former students, and the footer links to compliance documents and a whistleblower channel.

Who it suits

eClass suits a professional in Chile, or in the other countries it serves, who wants a university-issued diplomado in business, education, psychology, health, engineering or law and needs to study online around a job. It suits a learner who wants a shorter, practical program from eClass Academy, someone ready to commit to a year of English across 6 levels, and anyone who wants to try online study first through a free Open eClass course. For companies, eClass Corporate fits an HR or training team that wants courses, learning paths and English built around its own objectives.

The caveats are practical. The site and its program listings are in Spanish. Who issues the certificate depends on the program, so a learner who needs a university credential should choose a partner program rather than an eClass Academy one. A learner comparing options should also note that the business catalog is far deeper than the psychology or law lines, which list a handful of diplomados each.
