Qooper
Tap a star to rate
Qooper is enterprise mentoring software. Its home page describes it as "Enterprise Mentoring Software for Employee Development at Scale" and says it helps enterprises scale mentoring programs to improve retention, leadership development and internal mobility. The buyer is an HR, L&D or talent team that wants to design, launch, manage and report on mentoring programs without building the process by hand, and Qooper pairs the software with a customer success team that helps run them. The company gives a Chicago address on South Michigan Avenue, and it says it is "Trusted by 300+ Enterprises Globally". Beyond employers, its use cases reach universities, with student peer mentoring and alumni mentoring programs.
What an organization gets
The home page lists five core pieces: program design templates, a smart mentor matching solution, a mentorship training library, automated follow-ups and guidance, and tracking and reporting. Its summary of how the product works is short: pair up your mentees and mentors, provide training, create mentorship experiences and view results, with best practices and automation built in.
The product tour fills that out. There is the mentoring software itself, a mentoring app for participants, mentor matching, groups for mentoring beyond one-to-one pairs, a learning area, reporting and analytics, and ERG management for employee resource groups and communities. A company blog post on frontline training describes the participant side as personalized learning paths, social learning features and easy access to mentors and peers, with on-demand resources so learning fits around work. That is the light learning layer an L&D team gets alongside the mentoring relationships, rather than a full course authoring tool.
Programs it is built for
Qooper organizes its pitch around use cases, which also tell a buyer what kinds of programs the templates cover. Org-wide and career mentoring improves careers through targeted or open-enrollment programs. New hire onboarding and training aims to shorten time to productivity for roles such as managers, admins, sales reps and preceptors. High potentials and leadership development prepares future leaders and supports succession. An AI adoption mentoring program activates AI champions to spread AI skills across the organization. ERGs and communities centralize and engage resource groups. Student peer mentoring and alumni mentoring aim to improve the retention of incoming students and job placement for graduates.
A second list adds new manager training, succession planning, networking and coffee chats, a nurse preceptor program, frontline mentorship, sales team mentoring and member mentoring. The healthcare examples line up with one of the customer quotes, from a participant in Northwell Health's first mentorship program.
AI features and insights
The Qooper AI suite has four parts. Administrators can review AI-suggested mentorship matches before a program launches. Agendas can be personalized around each employee's goals, skills and development needs. An AI Mentorship Trainer guides mentors through common mentoring challenges. People Insights surfaces retention risks, skill gaps and leadership potential. The home page adds that Qooper Insights draws retention risks, engagement signals and career movement trends from current mentoring and development conversations, so teams can act before an exit interview reveals the problem.
Reporting
Showing the value of a program is a recurring theme. Qooper acknowledges that numbers for employee development are hard to produce and offers an ROI dashboard that reports a mentorship and learning program's impact on retention, onboarding, performance and succession. The resources section also includes an ROI calculator, alongside guides, templates, webinars, a blog and a mentoring glossary.
The blog is practical rather than promotional. A post on frontline employee training, for example, sets out what an effective program needs (clear objectives, hands-on practice, regular updates, feedback and support, interactive methods, and follow-up after the first session) and suggests measuring success through employee feedback, performance metrics, retention rates and customer feedback. It then places mentoring as the follow-up and reinforcement layer, which is the role Qooper plays for frontline and sales teams. The solutions pages make the same argument for employee engagement, retention and breaking down silos between departments.
Service, security and integrations
The company presents itself as "more than mentoring software". Its customer success team works as an extension of the client's team to design, launch and grow mentoring and employee development initiatives, and the home page lists strategy consulting, a dedicated customer success manager, kick-off and launch events, 24/7 tech support and an IT team.
On the technical side, Qooper describes integrations "at every stage, backed by clear documentation and dedicated IT support", and states that it is "SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant". The Enterprise Ready menu lists integrations, multi-language support, and security and compliance, and a system status page is linked from the footer. Buyers start by scheduling a demo; the site also links a pricing page.
What customers say
Three named reviewers appear on the home page. Lea B. at Tommy Bahama writes that Qooper "has everything you need to get a mentorship program off the ground, no custom development or heavy lifting required", and that it is easy to implement and simple to navigate as an administrator. Cindee P. at Cotiviti thanks the team for supporting Cotiviti "from day one", including preparing a business case and helping manage the program "despite our small team". Dani L. at Northwell Health says Qooper's matching algorithm found the right mentor during Northwell's inaugural mentorship program and that the experience felt "personalized and intentional from day one."
The company also calls itself the "#1 Mentoring Software for Employee Growth", a claim it makes about itself.
Who it suits and who it does not
Qooper suits an employer or institution that wants mentoring to be a managed, measurable program: an HR team rolling out career mentoring to the whole workforce, a hospital running a nurse preceptor program, a sales organization pairing new reps with experienced ones, a company building a leadership pipeline, or a university connecting students with peers and alumni. The templates, matching and customer success team help a small program team, which is exactly the situation the Cotiviti reviewer describes, and the ROI dashboard and People Insights give leadership something to read.
It is not a tool for an independent coach selling sessions, and it is not a course marketplace. The value is in structured programs with administration, reporting and service around them, so a company that only wants informal, self-organized mentoring between a handful of colleagues may need less than Qooper offers. For organizations that want mentoring, ERGs and learning in one place with someone helping them run it, Qooper covers that ground.
