ABC Trainerize
Tap a star to rate
ABC Trainerize is coaching software for fitness professionals: independent personal trainers, nutrition, lifestyle and wellness coaches, content creators, and studios, gyms, clubs and corporate wellness programs. A coach uses it to deliver training programs, nutrition plans and habit routines to clients online, in person or in a mix of both, then keeps clients engaged through messaging, community and progress tracking, and runs the business side with payments, scheduling and a branded app. The home page calls it a way to "Take your coaching online and deliver an experience like nothing your clients have ever seen before." It reports more than 400k personal trainers and coaches, 45k+ health and fitness businesses and 1.6M+ clients. The footer credits ABC Trainerize to TSR Gym Technik Ltd.
Coaching features
The product splits its features into four groups: coach, engage, manage and grow.
Coach. Trainers deliver training programs "in minutes" along with nutrition plans and habit routines, wherever clients are. The feature menu lists fitness programming, an AI Workout Builder, nutrition, habits and motivation tools. On the nutrition side, coaches deliver recipes and meal plans, monitor client macro tracking, and measure progress and nutrition compliance, which the site sums up as helping clients improve their health "one meal at a time".
Engage. Coaches connect with clients on the go through in-app messaging, build an online community, and keep motivation up with badges and reactions. The blog notes that Groups give remote clients some of the community reinforcement they would otherwise get in a gym. Video coaching is listed as a feature in its own right.
Manage. Scheduling, payments, client management and team features sit in one app, so a business can sell products, book sessions, market its brand and manage clients and staff without extra admin. The payment tools are, in the home page's words, "built specifically for fitness businesses", and handle packages, sessions and digital memberships.
Grow. Business tools, marketing, FitMetrics and Custom Branded Apps make up the growth side.
Custom branded apps
For coaches and businesses that want clients to see their brand rather than the vendor's, Trainerize sells Custom Branded Apps, which the home page presents as the way to deliver a training experience that is uniquely the coach's own, while driving engagement and promoting the brand. Studios and gyms are pitched the branded app as part of crafting their member experience, alongside integrations and appointments. Every new account also reserves a web address in the form yourname.trainerize.com at signup.
Courses and programs, not only sessions
Trainerize is mainly a one-to-one and small-group coaching tool, but the blog points to a product side as well. It says remote training pushes coaches to build systems such as templated programs, video libraries and on-demand content, and that "Thousands of personal trainers have created courses through our platform", turning one piece of work into recurring revenue. A linked guide covers building and selling low-touch habit programs on Trainerize. Digital memberships in the payment tools fit the same model.
Who the platform is built for
The home page addresses three kinds of business:
- Independent trainers, entrepreneurial coaches who run their own business and want to save hours of admin.
- Studios and gyms, single or multi-location, with a custom branded app, integrations and appointments.
- Clubs and franchises, with what the site calls a "tailor-made solution" for the facility that extends the platform beyond the club's walls.
The business-type menu goes further, naming lifestyle and health coaches, content creators and influencers, boutique studios, health and wellness centers, education, health and fitness clubs, community recreation centers and corporate wellness. The platform covers online training, in-person training, hybrid training, group training and nutrition coaching. On its blog, the company describes itself as best for growing businesses that need deep automation, habit coaching and community-building tools in one place, and lists automated check-ins among the dashboard's tools. The blog cites the company's 2026 State of the Personal Training Industry Report, which found that roughly 1 in 2 coaches now run hybrid as their primary delivery model, with about 32% online-only and about 14% in-person-only. Trainerize positions itself for that mixed way of working.
Pricing, trial and discovery
The home page offers a 30-day free trial with unlimited clients and no credit card required. On the blog, the company gives its own price range: "Pricing runs from free (1 client) up to $250+/month at the Studio level." The full plan list sits on the Pricing page, which the home page links to. There is also a free guide, "How To Price Your Online Training", for coaches working out what to charge their own clients, and a recorded demo or a call can be requested.
For finding clients, every account includes a free listing on Trainerize.me. A coach publishes their Trainerize profile there so potential clients can find them, view their offerings and work with them, and can switch on automated payments so clients buy services straight from the profile. An affiliate program is linked in the footer.
Integrations and support
The home page invites coaches to "Effortlessly connect ABC Trainerize with the world's most powerful apps" and links to a full integrations list. Support and learning run through a Help Center, a status page, product update notes, a resource hub, customer stories and education partners. The ABC Trainerize Academy offers business courses, product training and live feature masterclasses.
The blog's own case study quotes Patrick of PT x PT: "I am able to help my clients from anywhere in the world! I have traveled to Minnesota, Nevada, and New York since using ABC Trainerize."
Who it suits
ABC Trainerize suits a personal trainer or nutrition coach who wants one login for programming, nutrition, habits, messaging, scheduling and payments, and a studio or gym that wants to carry its in-person service into an app under its own brand. The free starting point for a single client and the 30-day trial with unlimited clients make it easy to test with a real roster, and the Trainerize.me listing adds a free route to new clients. Larger clubs and franchises get a dedicated path with multi-location support.
It is built around coaches who know their clients and work with them directly. A creator who mainly wants to sell a large self-paced course catalog to people they never coach would use only part of what the platform does, while a coach who mixes personal coaching with programs and memberships gets the full benefit.
