Mywowfit
Tap a star to rate
Mywowfit is an online personal training service: it matches you with a certified trainer and you train together live over Zoom, one-on-one, from home, a hotel room, an office or a gym. It is a service for the person doing the exercise rather than a tool for trainers, and its home page puts it plainly: "We don’t do group or pre-recorded workouts." Alongside the live sessions it sells To Go, a monthly plan of trainer-made workouts delivered in its app with daily text support. The About page says the company was founded in 2020 by Mikhail Gladkov and Eugen Kozunov and is based in Estonia; the footer lists Online Fitness Technologies Inc. in Dover, Delaware, and MYWOWFIT OU in Tallinn for the EU and UK.
How the coaching works
You start with a short quiz about your health history, limitations and goals. From there you pick from suggested trainers or let the company recommend one, and you can book a free 15-minute call with Maria Vazquez, the Head of Training, if you have a medical condition or are unsure. The first session is a paid 30-minute trial booked in your time zone, after which you stay with that trainer or switch.
During a session the trainer watches you through your camera and corrects form and technique in real time. The FAQ recommends a laptop or tablet rather than a phone, especially for the first ten sessions, and about 7 to 10 feet of space so the trainer can see your whole body. No equipment is required beyond a mat and a bottle of water; if you own weights or bands, the trainer works them in. The site's line on its approach is that "Your coach will adapt every session to your symptoms, goals, equipment, and recovery."
Training from a gym is allowed. The FAQ says about 12% of clients do it, including the founder, with a phone, a tripod and wireless headphones, and the trainer builds the session around the gym's equipment. Sessions for two people cost 30% more than the regular price, group sessions are arranged on request, and the company says it has plans for companies. Trainers also work with children from age 7, with a parent's or guardian's permission for anyone under 18.
Switching trainers is free at any time, and you can try several before committing. If you want to change trainer or combine trainers who cover different types of fitness, your personal manager arranges it, books a trial and sets up a chat with the new trainer.
What you can train for
The service menu is long and specific. It covers functional training, HIIT, Pilates, prenatal and postnatal fitness, strength training (including a program for women), stretching and mobility, weight loss and yoga. A rehabilitation group covers ankle, elbow, hamstring, hip, knee, ligament, shoulder, wrist and sports injury rehab, plus posture correction, back pain, neck pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, bone density and pelvic floor training. There are programs for perimenopause, menopause and women on HRT, for fitness over 50 and over 60, GLP-1 fitness, PCOS, golf, tennis and pickleball fitness, Hyrox preparation, beginners, busy parents, and training for deaf clients.
The FAQ says 30% of clients are complete beginners, and that for anyone with an injury or condition the trainer needs the client's doctor to have cleared them for exercise. The hormone-aware training page adds an optional link to Hone Health's licensed clinicians for people who want to explore hormone therapy, with training aligned to that care plan if the client shares it.
Trainers
The company says only 1 in 150 applicants gets through its 7-step selection process, which includes peer vetting and a commitment to continuing education, and that all trainers are certified by organizations like NASM, ISSA and ACE. Each trainer's certifications are listed on their profile. The trainer cards on the home page show the range: a physiotherapist trained at Santiago de Cali University, a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, NASM personal trainers, and specialists in rehabilitation, Pilates and functional strength. The home page counts 50+ personal trainers.
Prices and plans
The pricing page offers USD, EUR and GBP, and you can pay packages in your local currency; subscriptions are billed in USD only. Payments go through Stripe, with a Wise bank transfer link in special cases.
Live sessions come in 30, 45 and 60-minute lengths and are sold in packages, and the per-session price falls as the package grows. In euros, 30-minute sessions cost €216 for 8, €312 for 12, €576 for 24 and €1,100 for 50, which the page shows as €22 per session. For 45 minutes, packages run from €248 for 8 to €1,250 for 50. For 60 minutes, it is €280 for 8 (€35 per session), €408 for 12, €744 for 24 and €1,400 for 50 (€28 per session). The first session is a limited offer at €9 on the euro page and $10 on the home page, which also lists live coaching "From $25/session".
Packages expire to keep clients consistent: 8 and 12 sessions within 3 months with a 2-week freeze, 24 sessions within 6 months with a 4-week freeze, and 50 sessions within a year with an 8-week freeze. A refund is possible within the first month after purchase. You can cancel or reschedule a session without penalty at least 12 hours ahead.
To Go is listed at $158 per month on the home page, which also describes it as "From $5/day". It includes a custom plan made by your trainer, unlimited in-app workouts, daily text support and four one-on-one live sessions a month. It renews every 30 days, is non-refundable, needs 10 days' notice before renewal to cancel, and its live sessions do not roll over.
A few other terms are worth knowing. The site says you may be able to pay with HSA or FSA funds through its partnership with Truemed, after a questionnaire and a letter of medical necessity. A referral gives both you and your friend 2 free sessions when the friend buys, with no limit. Gift certificates are offered too. The home page headline promises "We Guarantee Results Or Return Your Money".
Support and what clients say
A personal manager is available 24/7 by WhatsApp, email or SMS; the company does not take incoming calls but will call back on request. The home page reports 1,250+ active users, 135,000+ workouts conducted and a 4.97 out of 5 rating across 728+ Trustpilot reviews, and the About page names a client, Richard Gilbert, as a client since 2022 with 186 completed sessions. One client on the pricing page writes, "I have been using Mywowfit for over 6 months now. I was never able to attend gym classes. Mywowfit allows me to schedule sessions at my convenience."
Who it suits and who it does not
Mywowfit suits someone who wants a real trainer watching their form without traveling to a gym: a beginner who needs basic technique taught properly, someone returning after an injury or managing joint pain with a doctor's clearance, a new parent, a woman in perimenopause or menopause, or a frequent traveler. The long specialty list and the free consultation with the Head of Training help people with specific conditions find a matching coach.
It is not for someone who wants a library of recorded classes to follow alone, and it is not a platform for trainers to sell their own courses. The package model rewards commitment: the lowest per-session prices need a 50-session purchase used within a year, so a buyer who trains occasionally should start with the trial and a small package.
