Merkora

Tap a star to rate

Merkora is an all-in-one practice platform for independent professionals who sell their expertise: coaches, therapists, counselors, consultants, trainers, nutritionists, yoga instructors, music teachers and many similar roles listed on its home page. It gives a practitioner one page and one link from which clients book sessions, buy session packages, take courses, download digital products and join live programs, with payments going to the practitioner's own Stripe account. The company is Merkora LLC, registered in Wyoming in the United States, and its About page describes a small distributed team. The home page says the product is currently in early access with a small group of coaches, therapists and independent experts.

The About page is explicit about who it is not for: "We are not building for influencers who count followers." It is built for the professional in private practice running the business as a solo operator, which is why this directory files it under coaching platforms, with course hosting as a second role.

The page and setup

Every practitioner gets a page at yourname.merkora.app that works in three layouts at once: a full professional website, a mobile-first link-in-bio view built for Instagram and TikTok profiles, and a direct booking page. Custom sections add testimonials, a gallery or an about section. Paid plans remove Merkora branding, and a custom domain is available on the Professional plan.

Setup leans on AI. The home page says you paste your existing website or describe your business in a sentence, and AI generates your bio, brand colors, bookable sessions, courses and products in under a minute; you review, adjust and share the link. Building the page by hand is also possible. The coaches page says most coaches have their page live in 15 to 30 minutes.

Booking and client protection

Booking is where Merkora puts most of its effort. A practitioner sets recurring availability, blocks dates, defines session lengths and adds buffer time between sessions. Clients book and pay in one flow, see times in their own timezone, and receive automatic confirmations and reminders. Intake forms can be attached to any service so the practitioner has context before a session. One-to-one and group sessions are both supported.

The income protection features are the part the company calls "Only on Merkora". A cancellation policy sets a free cancellation window, for example 24 or 48 hours, and a rule for late cancellations: full wallet credit, 50%, or nothing. Merkora enforces it automatically. Late cancellations produce wallet credits rather than cash refunds, so the client rebooks with the same practitioner. A no-show rule (session consumed, partial credit or full credit) is shown to clients before they book, and a practitioner can require payment or a deposit at booking. When someone cancels, auto slot recovery reopens the slot and notifies clients on the waitlist, first come, first served.

Session packages sell 3, 5 or 10 sessions, or a custom number, as one purchase. Clients book individual sessions from their balance, package sessions never expire until used, and packages can sit beside single sessions on the same booking page.

Courses, digital products and live events

The course builder covers the basics a coach or therapist needs to package knowledge. Video lessons are uploaded and hosted on Merkora, organized into modules and lessons, and students track their own progress. Completion certificates are issued automatically. A course can be sold at a fixed price, offered in a bundle, or given free to selected clients, and course analytics show who is progressing and who has dropped off.

Digital products cover e-books, guides, templates, workbooks, PDFs and audio. Each can be sold or given away; free downloads collect the client's name and email automatically, which turns a guide into a lead magnet, and buyers receive the file instantly.

Live events run on built-in streaming, so workshops, webinars and multi-session programs need no separate video tool. Hosts get a backstage mode to prepare before going live, attendance is tracked per session, recordings are saved and made available to ticket holders, and tickets can carry different price tiers or early-bird pricing. For one-to-one client sessions the features FAQ says you can use Merkora's video integration or your existing setup.

Payments, analytics and clients

Payments go straight from the client's card to the practitioner's own Stripe account. "Merkora never holds your money," the pricing page says, and Merkora's own transaction fee is 0% on every plan, including Free; standard Stripe processing fees apply. Merkora bills its own subscription by card through Stripe. Clients get automatic receipts, and the practitioner gets booking confirmations and payment notifications. A revenue dashboard shows total revenue, a per-offering breakdown and booking trends, and the client history records each client's bookings, purchases and wallet balance, with a CSV export.

Plans and prices

The pricing page lists two plans with the same features and different limits.

Free costs $0 a month and lasts until your first paid sale. It includes a personal page, unlimited paid bookable services, unlimited paid courses and digital products, the cancellation and credit system, reminders, Stripe payments and basic analytics. Its limits are 10 attendees per live event, 25 participant hours of live streaming a month, 10 GB of storage, no recordings, and Merkora branding on pages. There is no time-limited trial. When you make your first sale Merkora emails you, and you have 14 days to move to Professional; if you do not, new bookings and sales pause, while anything already sold is unaffected.

Professional lists at $79 a month. A founding member offer of 50 spots cuts it to $29 a month for 12 months, then $39 a month for life, which the page calls 63% off. Professional adds live events of up to 200 attendees, 500 participant hours a month, 10 hours of recordings a month, 200 GB of storage, session packages and bundles, branding removal and advanced analytics with a revenue breakdown. The features page separately describes built-in streaming of up to 1,000 participants on Pro, so the two pages state different ceilings for live events.

There are no contracts. A refund is available "within 30 days of your first payment", upgrades take effect at once, and a canceled account keeps its page until the end of the billing period, then drops to Free without losing data.

Who it suits and who it does not

Merkora suits a solo practitioner who sells time and knowledge directly: a therapist in private practice, a life or career coach, a nutritionist, a yoga or Pilates instructor, a consultant. It fits best when late cancellations and no-shows cost real money, because the policy, credit and slot recovery tools handle that without awkward conversations. A coach who wants to add a self-paced course, a paid workshop or a free guide to grow an email list can do it on the same page.

It is a young product, in early access with a small team, and it is built around the solo operator the About page describes rather than a multi-practitioner clinic. A creator whose business is a large course catalog or a community will want a dedicated course platform; Merkora treats courses as one offer beside sessions. For the solo professional who wants a working practice online in an afternoon, it covers booking, payments and content in one link.
