What Coach Catalyst is
Coach Catalyst is client coaching software for fitness and wellness professionals. Its "Who We Help" list names online coaches, nutrition coaches, health coaches, gym owners, studio owners, personal trainers, dietitians, lifestyle coaches and group coaching. The coach runs the business from a web account and clients follow their programs in a mobile app, which places the product among the coaching platforms in this directory: it is built for delivering one-to-one and group coaching over weeks and months, with tracking between sessions, rather than for selling a stand-alone video course. The homepage says the team brings 30 years of coaching expertise and that a new coach can be up and running with clients within 15 minutes.
The product menu groups its features under four verbs. Coach covers habit coaching, nutrition tracking, metric tracking and the workout builder. Operationalize covers forms, reporting, a marketplace and automated client journeys. Attract covers a branded app and creating products. Connect covers communities, communication, progress photos and photo food journals. A Help group adds Habby AI, a notification center, client education and on-demand resources for clients, and Payments appears in the list of solutions as well.
Coaching tools
The workout builder is where a trainer assembles programs. A homepage testimonial from Mike Mitchell praises the fact that "you can create your own or modify existing programs", so a coach is not locked into templates. Form checks let the coach review a client's technique, and video and audio notes let feedback go out without booking a call. Habit coaching and the habit and task tracker carry the day-to-day accountability: the coach assigns habits and tasks, and the homepage describes guided habit tracking with insights, reminders and progress updates for the client. Metric tracking and progress photos record changes over time, and photo food journals let clients log meals by picture.
Nutrition runs both inside the app and through connected apps. The pricing page lists a macro integration and a wearable integration, and the integrations menu names MyFitnessPal, MacrosFirst and Cronometer alongside FitBit, Apple Health, Oura and Zapier. A coach whose clients already log food in one of those apps does not have to move them to a new tracker.
The Oura integration page is the most detailed of these. It brings sleep metrics (duration, efficiency, REM, deep sleep and sleep score), heart rate variability, resting heart rate and Oura's readiness score into the client profile in the coaching dashboard. The page pitches this for spotting when a client is primed for intensity or needs a recovery-focused session, for catching overtraining before it turns into burnout, and for seeing how sleep and recovery line up with nutrition choices, workout performance and progress measurements in one dashboard.
Forms and the form builder handle intake questionnaires and check-ins, and the reports and data visualization included in the plan show how clients are progressing. Automated client journeys run onboarding and follow-up sequences, and the homepage offers access to an OnboardingGPT tool that it says builds a client onboarding program "in less than 15 minutes". Habby AI, marked as new in the menu, is the plan-level AI feature, included with Coach Pro.
Content, community and the client app
Coach Catalyst includes material a coach can hand out rather than write from scratch. The Coach plan lists an education management system, "Over 1000 modifiable lessons", "30+ Done-For-You Challenges" and an on-demand client portal, so a coach can assign lessons and challenges alongside workouts and habits. One customer, Emma Land, is quoted on the homepage saying: "The done for you program library is phenomenal. I love that I can edit everything and add my own voice and content." Communities give group coaching a shared space, and mobile apps exist for both the client and the coach. The branded app puts the coach's own brand on the client experience, and it sits in the menu next to Create Products and the Marketplace for coaches who package programs to sell.
For gym and studio owners
The gym owners page frames the product around the 165 hours a week that members spend outside the gym. It lists tracking of nutrition, sleep, recovery, stress levels and at-home workouts; priority client identification, which flags members who need extra support or accountability between visits; centralized message management that replaces scattered threads across text, email, social media and other apps; and team communication oversight, so an owner can see coach-client conversations across the whole staff and keep service consistent. A gym owner quoted on that page, Mike Jensen, says his team now uses the platform "to run challenges, track progress, and communicate daily."
Plans and pricing
The pricing page sets the price by client count with a slider. At its default of about 100 clients, the Coach plan card shows $108 billed monthly and $50 billed yearly, for up to 100 clients. The Coach plan includes the workout builder, form checks, habit and task tracker, form builder, education management system, video and audio notes, mobile apps for client and coach, reports and data visualization, the wearable and macro integrations, the lesson library and challenges, the on-demand client portal, one community and one coach account. Coach Pro adds unlimited coaches, unlimited communities, Habby AI and priority support; in the page's default view its card shows the same figures as the Coach plan. Coaches with over 300 clients are asked to request a demo and talk to the team.
A free 14-day trial gives full access to all features, and no credit card is required. Subscriptions are month-to-month with no long-term contract, and the FAQ says you can cancel at any time and upgrade as your client base grows. There is a 30-day money back guarantee: contact the company within 30 days if you are not satisfied, for any reason, and you get your money back, "no questions asked". Clients pay nothing to join Coach Catalyst; the coach decides whether to charge them a fee for the coaching. Support runs through chat with the team and a help center, with priority support on Coach Pro.
Who it suits
Coach Catalyst suits personal trainers and nutrition and health coaches who work with clients over time and want habits, workouts, food logs and wearable data in one app instead of spreadsheets and chat threads. Gym and studio owners get the staff oversight and member tracking that the gym page describes, and Coach Pro's unlimited coaches fit a team with several trainers. The done-for-you lessons and challenges help a solo coach fill a program quickly, and the Oura, FitBit and Apple Health connections suit coaches who program around recovery. Because the price follows the size of the client roster, the slider on the pricing page is the place to see what a given practice would pay. The product is a coaching delivery tool for health and fitness, so a creator who mainly wants to sell a self-paced course to a large audience, or a coach outside the fitness and wellness field, will find much of its tracking built for someone else.
