Vidyalaya LMS is a learning management system for schools, colleges and training teams, sold alongside Vidyalaya's school management software (school ERP). The LMS handles courses, live and recorded classes, quizzes, assessments, progress tracking and communication, while the ERP side covers admissions, fees, attendance, HR, payroll and campus operations. Its homepage headline reads "India’s Most Trusted School Management Software", and the school ERP site lists its office on S.G. Highway in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
The company describes the LMS as "crafted to plan, design, deliver, assess, and track your eLearning program along with multiple choices of content upload formats" and says it works for "small, middle, to large-scale educational institutes." Its published customers are schools, most of them in Gujarat.
What a school gets in the LMS
Courses and content. Administrators add, remove and change users and assign roles (admin, teacher or learner), and teachers create new courses or change existing ones. The homepage FAQ lists upload formats as "audio, video, PDF, HTML, Excel, Word, Images, Links, PPTs, etc," and the schools page adds HTML5, photos, slideshows, animations and text. Video can also come from YouTube or Vimeo. Teachers can build "structured learning journeys tailored to individual learner needs" as learning paths.
Live and recorded classes. "We offer live Zoom classes that let students learn from anywhere and interact with instructors in real time", says the homepage, and the integrations section adds that "Vidyalaya LMS supports Zoom and Google Meet for real-time virtual classes." The homepage also says "All classes are recorded, allowing students to watch them at their convenience".
Quizzes and assessment. The quiz module runs timed multiple-choice quizzes, and assessments cover exam, quiz and assignment creation and management with real-time insight into progress. For K-12, the schools page describes exam proctoring that lets staff "monitor user movement during exams, manage multiple users, and record screens and timelines that are visible to admin and faculty."
AI features. The schools page lists an AI question generator, where a teacher uploads a video URL or a PDF, generates questions with AI, reviews them and saves them to a question bank, and an AI bot that learners can ask questions while studying or doing homework. The same page calls the product an "AI-powered LMS".
Engagement. Gamification with badges, points, leaderboards and rewards, plus forums, chat groups and messaging. The schools page adds web seminars and video conferences for group learning.
Progress tracking and reports. Teachers track each student's course progress, the system produces attendance reports, and the dashboard covers user analytics, learning progress, attendance and courses. The FAQ mentions in-built analysis of student attendance, grades, course details and assignment results. Notifications go to students and teachers about course progress, deadlines and events.
Mobile app. The Android and iOS app gives students, teachers and parents "24/7 access to learning, assignments, communication, and reports for all stakeholders." Parents and students reach it from the App Store and Play Store.
Branding and access. White labeling lets an institution brand the LMS interface, and single sign-on lets users "log in once to access multiple systems securely". The LMS accepts "course and subscription payments via secure payment gateways."
Integrations. The homepage lists "video conferencing, Firebase Push notification, email, certificates to biometric attendance".
The school ERP behind it
The school management software covers a long list of core modules: admission, student, attendance, fees and timetable management, student assessment, a holistic progress card, certificates, HR, employee leave and payroll, academic events and activities, front office, health and MIS. Resource modules cover accounting, transport, inventory, library, alumni, hostel and asset management. Listed integrations include SMS and e-mail, a UHF attendance system, online exams, online classrooms, online payment, Tally, vehicle tracking, WhatsApp, the mobile app, barcode and biometric devices. The site also sells an admission CRM, a WhatsApp for Education service and website design, and lists a set of AI tools such as an AI timetable generator, AI lesson plan generator and AI-based exam seating arrangement.
Vidyalaya offers a school app, a parent app and a management app; the ERP page says the app keeps families updated with "news, circular, attendance, fees, homework, classwork and more school stuff." On hosting, it says "Vidyalaya offers the flexible hosting options to store your data like in premises, enterprise or in the cloud, the choice is yours."
The school ERP site also has a page for Israel, which says its products handle "All three phases of Israeli education- primary, middle, and high school" and lists multi-campus operations, GPS-based transport management and biometric attendance.
What the pages state
Scale. The ERP homepage cites "22+ years of expertise" and a "1600+ global client base" in one passage, and "25+ Years Legacy", "2000+ Satisfied Clients" and "96% Client Retention" in another. The LMS homepage shows "1.5 Millions" students.
Reviews. The ERP homepage lists ratings including 5.0 from 487 reviews on Software Suggest, 4.9 from 38 on Capterra and 4.8 from 31 on Technology Counter, with further review counts on GoodFirms, G2 and Tech Jockey.
Awards. The site lists a 2019 award for digital transformation in the education sector from IDEATHON & GESIA Awards, "Most Innovative School Management ERP" at the 7th National Conference on Teaching, Learning & Leadership, the 2021 "Education Excellence Award" by Software Suggest and the Atma Nirbhar Award 2021 from the Indian Achievers Forum.
Customers. Testimonials and case studies come from schools including DAV Model School in Durgapur, Navrachana Education Society in Vadodara, P.P Savani School in Surat, Nalanda International School in Vadodara, Nirma Vidyavihar in Ahmedabad and CRPF Public School in Hyderabad. Mr. Mayur Patel of Nalanda International School writes: "We have received excellent training and support, and our requests for information or assistance are always answered quickly." The chairman of L. P. Savani Group of Schools says the software lets him "effortlessly manage all six schools from anywhere."
Support. "We have our dedicated team that will provide excellent customer support over the phone, email, video conferencing, or in-person. Our own ticketing system will handle customer queries without wasting time." Implementation includes product training, and the FAQ says the company can also arrange training so "every single user is equally proficient in handling our system."
Pricing. The site publishes no prices; demos are booked through a form, and the LMS menu links to a pricing page.
Who it suits
Vidyalaya LMS suits an Indian K-12 school, or a school group with several campuses, that wants live Zoom or Google Meet classes, recordings, quizzes and proctored exams tied to the same system that runs its admissions, fees, attendance and parent app. Schools already on the Vidyalaya ERP get the LMS as the teaching layer of a system they use. Colleges and coaching institutes appear in the solutions menu, and the LMS homepage also pitches corporate, sales and onboarding training.
It suits less well a creator selling courses to the public, or a school that wants a stand-alone LMS without the school administration modules that make up most of what Vidyalaya sells.
