TalkEn.Cloud

Tap a star to rate

TalkEn.Cloud is an online platform built for one subject: teaching English. It is aimed at private tutors, language courses and schools, general schools with English teachers, and education startups that want a ready-made setup rather than assembling one. The homepage calls it "all-inclusive для викладання англійської" (all-inclusive for teaching English) and splits the product into three parts that work together: a library of interactive textbooks, a learning management system (LMS) for running classes, and an academy for developing language schools. The site is written in Ukrainian, with an English language switch in the header, and it links out to a partner ERP-CRM for education businesses called Voopty.

The point of the bundle is that a school gets both the course content and the tools to deliver it. Instead of writing lessons from scratch and then hunting for software to schedule, grade and track them, a teacher assigns a TalkEn.Cloud textbook to a group and runs the course inside the same system.

The interactive textbook library

The library holds 52 interactive textbooks for school-age learners and adults, covering levels from pre-A1 to C1. Each comes with a Teacher's Guide, and the homepage counts detailed plans for about 2,500 lessons across the series (the headline figure is "2,5k+" interactive lessons with ready-made plans). Students work through exercises inside the textbook, and the teacher sees their progress task by task. The homepage also counts 200+ tests with automated checking.

The textbooks are designed around the flipped classroom model, which the site calls "Перевернутий урок" (the flipped lesson). The FAQ explains it: students prepare on their own on the platform, reading the material and doing practice exercises, and the lesson itself is spent practicing those skills under the teacher's guidance. The FAQ says the model works for classroom lessons and online ones. A teacher who prefers a different method can still use the textbooks, though the FAQ says the material would need adapting to their own program.

Lesson lengths depend on the series, and the FAQ spells them out:

  • the "Комплексний" (comprehensive) course for school-age learners: one textbook equals 30 lessons of 80 minutes;
  • the "Розмовний" (conversational) course for school-age learners: one textbook equals 15 lessons of 45 minutes;
  • the comprehensive course for adults: one textbook equals 62 lessons of 60 minutes.

Alongside the textbooks there are interactive worksheets as extra material. Teachers can use a library of ready-made worksheets and build their own interactive exercises in a section called "My worksheets", both of which the homepage lists as free extras.

The LMS: admin, teacher and student views

The LMS is organized as three workspaces.

The administrator panel is where a school sets things up. It creates student profiles and puts them into groups or into individual lessons, attaches learning materials, generates the lesson schedule, and attaches an entry test that determines a student's level of English automatically. That level then decides which textbook a student or group is given.

The teacher's workspace lists the teacher's active groups and students, holds a schedule organizer, and tracks grades and attendance. It shows each student's progress through the textbook exercises, checks tests automatically, and handles homework with feedback from the teacher to the student.

The student's workspace mirrors it from the other side: a schedule organizer, the interactive textbook, active and completed tests, progress through the textbook, attendance, and homework with the teacher's feedback.

The FAQ sums up what the LMS covers in practice: creating student profiles, grouping them, testing their English level and assigning the matching textbook, building each teacher's timetable, keeping an electronic class register with attendance and grades, following progress and setting homework.

Using your own materials

A school does not have to use the TalkEn.Cloud textbooks. The FAQ gives three options for an institution with its own books and program. It can use the platform purely as an LMS and send students its own materials as homework, in the form of text messages, links or attached files (Word documents, images, PDF and audio files). It can commission its own interactive textbook built on the platform, after which the whole feature set works with that book and program; the details come from the company's managers. Or it can build its own interactive exercises in "My worksheets". A separate "other services" block adds paper textbooks, help organizing a school's education processes, business consulting, and building a custom interactive course on the platform, all on request.

The Academy for language schools

The third part of the ecosystem, the Academy of Language School Development, is aimed at the people running the school rather than its students. The homepage lists courses and events for education managers, training for English teachers through courses and webinars, certificates of professional development for participants, individual business consulting for schools, and forums, marathons and meetups for educators. Two figures sit under that block: 15 400 teachers have attended the webinars, and 7 530 teachers have received professional development certificates. The Academy has its own prices and schedule, linked from the pricing section, and an events calendar.

Getting started and the trial

The homepage lays out four steps: register a school or tutor profile, look through the demo materials and video instructions, set the system up yourself or book a personal consultation, then test it free for 7 days and run first lessons with students.

The FAQ is specific about the trial. For the first 7 days a school has completely free access to all of the functionality, textbooks and tools, with no limit on how many students it adds, and it can create groups and see how the textbooks look and work. After that, use is paid. A setup checklist on the homepage marks most of the admin steps with a FREE label (the school profile, student and teacher profiles, the online level test, groups, the schedule and a look at the e-register and Teacher's Guide), marks attaching the interactive textbooks as "7 days free", and puts paying for licenses at "Від 3$ міс." (from $3 a month). One condition: the FAQ says textbooks cannot be opened without adding at least one student.

Pricing and licenses

Payment is per active student per month, which the FAQ defines as access to one interactive textbook for one month. A school tops up its balance in its account, buys licenses and assigns them to students. Licenses have to be renewed at the end of each month, and the system closes textbook access automatically for students whose licenses have expired. This is all handled in a "Ліцензування" (licensing) section.

The "LMS + бібліотека підручників" (LMS plus textbook library) table is priced per textbook per student per month, with a discount for volume:

  • the 1-20 band: 3.5 USD
  • the 21-50 band: 3.25 USD
  • the 51-100 band: 3 USD
  • above that: individual pricing

A second table, headed price by number of students for the LMS on its own, lists 1 USD for the 1-20 band, 0.75 USD for 21-50 and 0.5 USD for 51-100, with individual pricing above that. Prices are quoted in dollars with a fixed rate printed beside them: "1 $ = 44,8 грн до 31.05.2027" (1 dollar equals 44.8 hryvnias until 31 May 2027). The FAQ confirms the discount depends on how many students a school adds.

Support

The FAQ points questions to a chat on Telegram or Viber and promises a quick answer, and the contacts block gives a phone line and an e-mail address. Setup help comes through the personal consultation offered in the onboarding steps, and the company's blog carries longer articles on how tutors and language schools use an LMS.

Who it suits

TalkEn.Cloud fits English teachers who want content and delivery in one place. A tutor moving from one-to-one lessons to groups, or an entrepreneur opening a new English school, gets 52 leveled textbooks, lesson plans, auto-checked tests and the scheduling, register and homework tools to run them, and the per-student license means cost follows enrollment. Schools that like the flipped classroom will find the material written for it. The Academy adds teacher training, professional development certificates and business consulting for the people running the school.

It is a narrow product by design. Every textbook and every example on the site is about English, so a school teaching other languages or other subjects would be using it as a bare LMS with its own files. The site is in Ukrainian, prices are set against the hryvnia, and support runs through Telegram and Viber, so an English-speaking buyer should expect to work partly in Ukrainian. Schools above the published bands negotiate an individual price.
