SEVIMA
Tap a star to rate
SEVIMA is an Indonesian education technology company whose platform runs the academic, financial and teaching operations of universities, institutes, polytechnics and academies, with a smaller line for K-12 schools. Its learning management system is EdLink, which sits inside a wider suite next to the Siakad Cloud academic information system. The site is in Indonesian, the legal entity named in the footer is PT Sentra Vidya Utama, and the head office is in Rungkut, Surabaya, East Java. The site describes SEVIMA as an EdTech company that has worked since 2004 on the administrative complexity of higher education, and claims "99% keberhasilan implementasi" (99% implementation success) through the SEVIMA Platform.
Scale
The home page says SEVIMA is trusted by more than 1,300 educational institutions and gives three figures: "3 juta+" (3 million+) active users, 1.300+ institutions in its ecosystem and 5.000+ members of the SEVIMA community. It also mentions a MURI record, the Indonesian records museum, for a webinar with the most university rectors taking part.
EdLink, the LMS
The company's blog post on free e-learning apps, a comparison it wrote itself, puts EdLink first and describes it as an LMS "asli Indonesia" (made in Indonesia) that helps students and lecturers share information and course materials and set assignments and evaluations from a phone. A web version lets lecturers handle attendance, teaching and grading, and the app runs on Android, the web and the iOS App Store. The features the post lists are:
- Attendance from a smartphone, so students check in for a class without opening a laptop, and lecturers recap attendance from the online records instead of by hand.
- Video conferencing inside the app for distance lectures.
- Class timetables with notifications before each lecture.
- Interactive quizzes for online courses.
The post closes by recommending EdLink to a campus that is just starting online programs, adding that the SEVIMA team gives full support for the rollout. The post also argues that a campus should pick an LMS that is updated regularly and test it itself rather than trusting reviews. The home page adds that LMS integration is "semudah klik" (as easy as a click) on the managed cloud.
Testimonials on the home page come from EdLink users. A midwifery lecturer at Universitas Dr. Soekardjo Banyuwangi writes that when her laptop died and all her data was lost, her materials survived in the SEVIMA LMS, and that feedback to students is recorded automatically, which helps at accreditation. The head of STMM Yogyakarta calls the LMS "fondasi kampus digital kami" (the foundation of our digital campus) and says the school plans distance programs and microcredentials on it.
The rest of the higher education suite
EdLink is one product among several. The menu lists, for universities:
- Siakad Cloud, the integrated academic information system.
- Modul Penjaminan Mutu, quality assurance modules for the external and internal quality systems (SPME and SPMI). The page describes an SPMI platform built on the PPEPP cycle, structured internal quality audits and tracking of accreditation progress against each BAN-PT or LAM instrument.
- EduFin, education finance management, which the page says integrates transactions and journals, speeds up reconciliation of multi-channel payments and keeps reports audit-ready.
- ProFeeder, automatic integration with PDDikti, the national higher education database.
- Maukuliah, a campus information portal.
- KarirLink, a career center and tracer study tool.
- GoFeeder, community support for reporting.
Supporting services are SEVIMA CRM, SEVIMA AI (listed in the menu without a description), SEVIMA Hosting, which is managed hosting for campus servers, and IntegraOffice for digital correspondence. The footer also names Akreditasi Cloud and Finance Cloud.
What each role gets
The home page walks through the problems of each campus role and SEVIMA's answer. Foundation heads and university leaders get an executive dashboard across units, real-time KPI monitoring, automatic tracking of performance indicators (IKU) and accreditation progress, and early warnings on finances and enrollment. IT teams get a cloud platform that the page says is fully managed with automatic updates, faster API integration between campus systems, self-service reporting and auto-scaling for peak loads during course registration and payment periods. Lecturers enter grades once and have them synced, get end-to-end academic administration, workload (BKD) reports in the DIKTI format and a portal for supervising final projects. Students get a super-app for campus services, online administration and real-time views of their study progress and bills.
The headline promise is accreditation: the home page says the system is synced with BAN-PT and PDDikti so a team can focus on improvement rather than administration. A testimonial from Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya says financial reports that took 3 hours now take minutes and that students pay through several banks online. Another from a PDDikti reporting admin says lecturers and students now reset passwords through SSO and email. The head of data and IT at Institut Kesehatan Helvetia Medan credits SEVIMA's layered validation and quick regulation updates for an LLDIKTI Region 1 award for data reporting, and the head of academics at Universitas Muslim Maros writes that reporting used to mean three months of weekend overtime, which ended after the campus moved to SEVIMA. The same admin quoted above says accreditation reports can be customized to what the health ministry (Kemenkes) and Dikti require.
Types of institution and schools
SEVIMA offers versions for private universities, state universities, religious institutions, official service colleges (kedinasan), health colleges and vocational institutions. For schools it has Mitra Edu, a K-12 education platform, and SEVIMA PENA for digital school assessment. Outside education it lists FirstDay, an AI recruitment product, and KarirLink for industry.
Pricing, demo and support
A Harga (pricing) page is linked in the menu. The home page itself shows no prices; it invites an institution to request a SEVIMA Platform demo or schedule a discussion, and it offers a community version of the platform to download. Contact runs through a mobile chat number, a Surabaya phone line and a marketing email address, and the footer links a Service Level Agreement. The events menu lists webinars, seminars, workshops and paid training with certification.
Who it suits
SEVIMA suits an Indonesian university, institute, polytechnic or academy that wants its LMS, academic records, finance, quality assurance and PDDikti reporting from one vendor on a managed cloud, especially one preparing for BAN-PT or LAM accreditation. EdLink on its own suits a campus starting online lectures that needs attendance, video classes, quizzes and timetables on students' phones. The platform is built around Indonesian regulation and the site is in Indonesian, so an institution outside Indonesia, a course creator or a corporate training team will find little here.
