What LMScloud is

LMScloud is a cloud school management and learning platform for schools in India, run from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh and, in its footer's words, "Powered by Rovista." The FAQ calls it "a school-focused Learning Management System designed to manage academics, attendance, assignments, exams, fees, communication, and more." In practice it is a school ERP and LMS in one: the office runs admissions, fees, staff and transport in it, and teachers, students and parents use it for lessons, homework, results and announcements.

The reader is a school, and specifically a small or mid-sized Indian school. The published packages stop at 500 students, the blog writes for principals choosing between ERP vendors, and a company boilerplate on the blog describes LMSCloud as "built for Indian schools" and "Available in English and Hindi." The site itself switches between the two languages.

The panels and apps

The home page organizes the product by who uses it.

Super Admin Panel. A central dashboard to "Manage multiple schools or classes," create and delegate schools, design feature-wise packages for schools and classes, and switch on add-ons. This is the layer for a trust or group that runs several schools.

School Admin Panel. The day-to-day office. Academy setup covers mediums, subjects, semesters and shifts. Student management takes admission forms and adds students one at a time or in bulk with parent details. Teachers are added in their own section, timetables are built per division and per teacher, and announcements can be targeted to sections. Exam management handles both online and offline exams and publishes results. Fees management lets the school "Create different types and maintain comprehensive logs of payments." Staff leave management tracks requests for teachers and staff, and role-based staff management assigns permissions.

Teacher Panel. Teachers build lessons and break them into topics, create assignments by class "including weightage and resubmission options," and grade from the list of submissions. They mark attendance, upload marks for offline exams and manage student-wise results, and see a personal timetable.

Parents/Students App. A home screen with announcements and subject information, subject lessons and assignments with submission tracking, a menu for the school operations that matter to a family, and a profile step for choosing elective subjects. The Student Panel adds subject materials and lesson topics, transport details (bus route and pickup times), online homework submission with feedback, and exam results with subject-wise marks for both online and offline assessments.

Teacher-Staff App. A dashboard for timetable, leave and holidays, lesson management from the phone, leave applications that only authorized staff can approve, and the ability to send announcements from the app.

The full module list on the home page runs to student, academics, slider, teacher, session year, holiday, timetable, attendance, exam, lesson, assignment, announcement, staff, expense, staff leave, fees, school gallery and website management, plus ID card and certificate generation, a chat module, a transportation module and staff attendance. The home page sums this up as "14+ smart features in one powerful platform."

Communication with parents

The company's blog post on parent-teacher communication explains how messaging fits in. The chat module and announcement management sit beside the Parents/Students App, so a note about attendance or a fee due date is tied to the actual student record, and teachers send announcements through the staff app rather than a personal WhatsApp broadcast. Parents check attendance, fees, assignments and results in the same place they receive messages.

Plans and prices

The home page lists three prepaid packages, each valid for 365 days:

  • Digital Starter: 200 student limit, 10 staff limit, ₹10,000.
  • Smart School: 300 student limit, 15 staff limit, ₹19,000.
  • Complete Digital School: 500 student limit, 25 staff limit, ₹35,000.

A Custom package covers anything beyond that, quoted after contact. The pricing grid prints the same module list under all three packages, but the company's 2026 pricing guide describes tiered inclusions: Starter for core student, academics, teacher, timetable and attendance management; Smart School adding exam, staff, fees management and the school gallery; and Complete Digital School adding ID card generation, website management, the chat module and transport. The FAQ says fees management comes with the "Standard and Premium plans," and that Premium plans "offer branding options and certain customization features." A school that needs fees or transport from the first day should confirm which package carries them. The same guide puts Complete Digital School at roughly ₹70 per student at the 500-student limit, and notes that exceeding a tier's limit usually means an upgrade or an overage charge.

Its separate cost guide for Indian schools is useful context: it lists the extras that raise a real bill, such as SMS packs, payment gateway charges, setup, migration and training, and recommends comparing two-year totals rather than first-year quotes. LMScloud offers to work through a school's own student count, modules and SMS volume in a demo to produce a full two-year cost figure.

Trial, setup, refunds and support

  • Trial. The header carries a Start trial button, and the FAQ says schools "may request a demo and trial access to explore features before purchasing a subscription." A live Demo School is linked from the home page.
  • Setup. "Most schools can go live within 5–7 working days, depending on data availability and onboarding requirements."
  • Training. The FAQ says LMScloud "provides onboarding guidance and training sessions" for teachers and administrators.
  • Cancellation. Schools may cancel at any time; "Refunds are available only within 30 days of purchase, as per our Refund Policy."
  • Data. The FAQ says the platform uses "secure cloud infrastructure and encrypted connections" and that "We do not sell or share data for advertising purposes." The pricing post says the school "retains ownership of institutional data."
  • Support. "Our support team is available via email and phone during business hours."

Who it suits

LMScloud suits an Indian school of up to 500 students that wants one prepaid annual system for the office and the classroom, with an app parents will actually use for attendance, homework, fees and results. The Super Admin Panel makes it a reasonable fit for a group running several small schools under one login. A school under 200 students can start on the ₹10,000 Digital Starter package and move up a tier as enrollment grows. Larger schools go to a custom quote, and schools outside India will find the product, its blog and its pricing written around Indian schools, rupees, and English and Hindi.
