Jibu ERP
Tap a star to rate
Jibu ERP is school management software from a company in Westlands, Nairobi, with an online learning management module built into it. The home page presents it as "School Management Software in Kenya Simplifying Education Administration" and calls it "the most preferred system in Kenya", which is the company's own claim. Its product menu lists four parts: Complete School Management Software (ERP), an Institute Mobile APP, Online Learning Management Software (LMS) and Online Examination Software. This listing's page is the LMS module, but a school buys it as part of one system that also runs admissions, fees, attendance and communication. The reader it serves is a school head, bursar or administrator who wants teaching and the school office on one platform.
The online learning module
The LMS page lists six benefits. Learners "can access course materials from anywhere, anytime, using any device with internet connectivity." Personalized learning paths allow "customization of content and pacing to suit individual learning styles and needs." Automated administration "Streamlines tasks like attendance tracking, grading, and report generation, saving time for educators." Centralized content management "Stores all learning materials, assignments, and assessments in one secure place." Enhanced collaboration "Enables group projects, peer interactions, and discussions through forums and chat features." And the cost case: it "Reduces the cost of physical resources, travel, and printed materials", which the page also frames as "a paperless and eco-friendly approach."
The page adds that LMS platforms "support continuous professional development for teachers", and an FAQ answer says the system lets schools "conduct online classes, assign digital homework, and monitor student progress through a centralized School ERP System platform." Online exams are sold as a separate module, and the home page's feature strip lists Virtual Class and Online Exam among the add-ons.
The school management system around it
The home page describes Jibu ERP as integrating "student information, fee management, attendance tracking, academic planning, and communication tools." Its FAQ says the system "automates administrative tasks such as student enrollment, fee collection, timetable scheduling, and attendance tracking", and that it simplifies "fee collection, expense tracking, payroll management, and financial reporting." Institutions can tailor features such as "student enrollment, attendance tracking, fee management, and academic scheduling" to their own requirements, with automated reports, cloud access and a dashboard. Another FAQ answer says multiple school branches can be managed "from one central system", sharing data, reports and communication across campuses.
The feature strip names the extras a school can switch on: WhatsApp, Biometric, Virtual Class, Vehicle Tracking, Mobile App, GPS Integration, Online Exam and Online Payment.
The site breaks the features down by role. Teachers can communicate with students and parents, track academic progress and manage student records. Admins manage human resources, keep data in secure central storage, streamline fee collection and generate detailed reports. Students get communication with teachers, notifications about key events, a view of their attendance and academic performance, and access to timetables and study materials. Parents track their child's progress, get "hassle-free and flexible fee payment options", message teachers and receive updates on school events.
The mobile app
The Institute Mobile APP is "Compatible with Android & iPhone", is "One app for Teachers, Students, & Parents", is "Customized with your institution's name, logo, and colors", and lets the school "Add custom pages in the mobile app." The point of the branding is that families install an app that looks like the school's own rather than a vendor's. The home page says it covers tracking attendance, monitoring student performance, checking homework assignments and receiving school announcements, and that administrators can oversee daily activities remotely.
Security and support
An FAQ answer says Jibu ERP "provides secure cloud storage with advanced encryption, access controls, and backup systems to protect student and school data from unauthorized access or loss." The home page says the support team "is always available to assist with any queries", and that the system needs "minimal training". A school gets started by booking a demo, and the site advertises "Free Demo Available!" with an inquiry form that also covers websites, app development, digital marketing and school consultancy.
Pricing
Jibu ERP publishes no fixed price. Its FAQ says the cost "depends on features and plugins selected by the institution", and names them: SMS, Mobile App, Biometric, Vehicle Tracking System, Payment Gateway, Video conferencing integration, E-learning platform "and more." So the LMS is one priced plugin among several, and a school's quote depends on which it picks. The blog has posts titled "School ERP Cost in Kenya: Pricing, Setup Fees & ROI" and "School Management Software in Kenya: Features & Pricing", and the menu links to a Pricing page.
Track record
The home page shows four counters: 400 clients, 750 projects, 5 years and 5 countries. Contact details are a phone number, 254724314614, an email at jibuerp@advantasms.com, and an office at Western Heights, Karuna road, 6th Floor, Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya 00100.
What schools say
The testimonials are signed with names and roles. Mr. Kamau Otieno, a principal, says it helps "automate admissions, track student progress, and handle staff payroll effortlessly." Ms. Achieng Mwangi, a head teacher, says it lets her school "efficiently manage attendance, grading, and communication between teachers, students, and parents." Mr. Wanjiru Njoroge, a school administrator, says "From managing fee payments to tracking transport services, everything is centralized." Mrs. Nduta Karanja, an academic coordinator, praises "its advanced modules for exams, library management, and scheduling." Mr. Mwakio Wafula, a finance manager, credits it with "accurate fee collection, expense tracking, and financial reporting." Mrs. Wambui Mutua, an IT director, mentions "cloud-based accessibility" and "security features" that "protect sensitive data."
Who it suits
Jibu ERP suits a Kenyan school, or a group with several branches, that wants its office and its online teaching in one system: fees and payroll, attendance, timetables, exams and transport tracking alongside course materials, digital homework, forums and online classes, with a mobile app carrying the school's own name and logo for staff, students and parents. Because pricing is by module, a school can start with the parts it needs and add the e-learning platform, biometrics or vehicle tracking later. A school that only wants a standalone teaching LMS, or a creator selling courses to the public, will find most of the system aimed at school administration instead.
