Green LMS
Tap a star to rate
Green LMS is a learning management system from Greenfield Solutions, sold in four editions: Green K12 for schools, Green K20 for universities and colleges, Green SME and Green Corporate. It serves two readers at once: a school or college that wants one platform for courses, assessment, communication and reporting, and an L&D team that wants to analyze skills, assign training and measure the result. The FAQ describes it as "a complete LXP an AI-driven peer learning experience platform delivered using software as a service (SaaS) and on-premises", so an institution can run it in the cloud or on its own servers.
The homepage reports 45+ awards, 12000 happy clients, 20 countries and 25 languages. Its contact block lists phone lines for Oman, the USA, Canada and India, and the footer links to pages for Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Africa.
What a school gets with Green K12
The K12 page presents Green LMS as a digital foundation for school learning, running online classes and student evaluation for school districts, K-12 institutions and higher education. Its named features are:
- Adaptable learning paths. Teachers create customizable learning paths so each learner's needs and pace are taken into account, and the page says teachers can set learning goals and adjust the pace of instruction for each student.
- Course management. Educators create, edit, assign and delete courses, and build them out with wikis, chat rooms, forums, quizzes and assignments.
- Differential learning. The page notes that some children are good at theory, some at practicals, some at analysis or leadership, and positions the platform as an environment for a holistic approach to each child.
- Dashboards. Separate personalized dashboards for teachers, students, administrators and parents.
- Integrated virtual classroom. A built-in virtual classroom works with web-conferencing tools and offers whiteboards, breakout rooms and polling.
- Social learning. A Social Wall with discussion forums, chats, videos and peer-to-peer interaction.
- Gamification and leaderboards. Points, badges, level boards and achievements.
- Multimedia. Videos, slideshows, PDFs, podcasts and webinars, plus e-books and interactive content as supplementary resources.
- Assessment. Quizzes, multiple-choice tests, assignments and interactive scenarios, with feedback to learners and teachers.
- Flipped classroom. Learners study at their own pace with integrated audio-visual material before class.
- Reporting. Detailed insight into student performance, with a scheduling feature that generates and sends custom reports automatically.
- Multi-tenant management. One platform can train several learner groups at the same time, which the page pitches at institutions with multiple branches or campuses.
- Mobile learning. Access to content from any device.
The same page says Green LMS integrates with student information systems, HR systems and CRM platforms, and that its security features include data encryption, secure login and compliance with privacy regulations. Custom branding, modified course structures and scalable user capacity are listed under customization.
What a college or university gets with Green K20
The K20 page is aimed at higher education and adds several features to the school set:
- AI-proctored online tests. Teachers share online assignments and run quizzes, MCQs and descriptive exams "with AI- proctoring technology."
- Competency-based training. Learners demonstrate a skill in a course before moving to the next step.
- Comprehensive feedback. A multi-rater feedback model in which learners rate themselves against scenarios, each tied to a skill within a competency.
- Course calendars. Educators assign work, set deadlines and schedule classes.
- Collaboration tools. Forums, chat rooms, messages, attendance and event calendars, and scheduled web conferencing sessions between educators and learners.
- Blended learning and flipped classes. Students arrive in class having already viewed the lectures.
- Administration. Automated grading, attendance tracking and reporting, along with managing enrollments and user profiles.
- Course authoring. The page says Green LMS has "more than 52 course authoring tools to make the course Gamified and engaging."
The K20 page also states that Green LMS offers over 100 integrations, naming CRMs such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics and e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce and Magento.
The corporate side
The homepage itself leads with the corporate product, which it calls "Green-Talent Development Software". It covers skill gap analysis, SMART goals, personalized learning paths for each user, pre- and post-training performance evaluation, leaderboards, mentorship and smart reports with predictive analytics on learning trends. The homepage feature grid lists 18+ features across the platform, among them easy course creation, gamification, competencies, progress tracking, custom reports and analytics, personalized dashboards, easy grading, social learning, ROI definition, productivity mapping, interactive video, API-based courses, white label, a centralized knowledge base, learning paths, a virtual classroom, multilingual support and single sign-on. The FAQ adds that SSO "removes the hassle of remembering so many username and passwords."
The homepage also describes the system as fully customizable to an organization's brand, content and user experience, with a built-in content management system, and says it is compatible "with over 100 third- party software integrations."
What the pages state
Pricing and trial. The site publishes no prices; the K12 page offers a quote and every edition leads to a demo or a talk with the sales team. The homepage does offer a trial: "Enjoy the full functionality with a free 7-day trial." The K20 page title also advertises a free trial.
Support. The K20 page says "Green LMS provides thorough training resources and dedicated customer support to assist users," and the homepage FAQ lists excellent customer support among the reasons to choose it.
Testimonials. The homepage shows a rating of 4.9 from 39 reviews and a set of client statements. One organization writes that it has used Green LMS "since 2019" and thanks the company for technical support "in ensuring that all our 300 employees are progressing in their learning and development." Another, Sawtrax Limited, says Greenfield Solution "designed a solution for us that just works right for schools and colleges in Nigeria."
Standards. The K12 page advises schools to choose an LMS compatible with SCORM or xAPI, but it does not say that Green LMS itself supports either.
Who it suits
Green LMS suits a school or school group that wants a full-featured LMS with parent dashboards, a built-in virtual classroom, gamification and per-student learning paths, especially one with several branches that can use the multi-tenant setup. Colleges and universities running blended or flipped courses get competency-based training, AI-proctored exams and course calendars on top. Institutions that need to host their own system have the on-premises option. Because the same vendor sells corporate and SME editions, it also fits a training provider or an organization that runs both academic and staff training.
It suits less well a buyer who wants published prices before talking to sales, since every edition is quoted, or an independent creator looking for a course storefront: Green LMS is an institutional and corporate platform rather than a tool for selling courses to the public.
