Coschool is the company behind SchoolAi, which it describes as "an AI-first, closed-loop learning platform for schools." It is a school product for Indian K-12 schools, bought by a school's management and used by its teachers, students and parents, not an app a family subscribes to on its own. The company's site gives its address in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana, and says the platform is "backed by over 30 years of education institution-building experience through People Combine Group." The homepage title is "Powering Schools To Become Future Ready" and the footer motto is "Making learning the greatest joy". Its stated mission is to support teachers and make sure "no student is left behind."
The closed loop and the Vin tutor
The center of the product is Vin, which Coschool calls "India's first school-integrated AI tutor". According to the company, Vin "guides students through learning using the Socratic method, never giving away answers." Instead of handing a student the solution to a homework problem, it walks them through the steps.
SchoolAi ties that tutor to the teacher's classroom through what the company calls a closed-loop workflow, laid out on its blog in four steps:
- Teachers assign homework
- Vin guides students through completion with personalized explanations
- The system generates actionable insights for teachers
- Teachers implement targeted interventions in one click
The idea is that homework stops being a sheet that comes back marked days later. The student gets help while doing it, and the teacher sees where the class struggled before the next lesson. The site's meta description sums up the offer as personalizing student learning, supporting teachers, partnering with parents and driving outcomes.
In its comparison table the company lists SchoolAi's key features as AI-powered personalized learning, the school-integrated Vin tutor, teacher classroom tools, parent engagement dashboards and real-time performance insights. On curriculum, its FAQ says AI-first platforms like SchoolAi focus on adaptive learning regardless of board, personalizing within curriculum boundaries.
What the platform covers
Coschool's site lists its services, and the list shows how far the product reaches beyond the tutor. For teachers there is a Teacher Dashboard, described as a classroom management tool; AI Tools for Teachers; AI Grading Tools for automated assessment, including an AI homework grader; Homework Management Software; and an AI Teaching Assistant with the tagline "Cut Lesson Prep Time in Half". For tests, the menu names an AI Question Paper Generator ("Board-Aligned Tests in Minutes"), an AI-Based Test Generator "CBSE & State Board Aligned", a Digital Assessment Platform and Student Assessment Tracking Software "From Formative Tests to Final Exams". Lesson planning tools include AI-based lesson plans and activities for grades 6 to 12 and auto-generated CBSE science lesson plans.
For reporting, there are AI-based student progress reports, AI-based monthly progress reports billed as "One-Click Reports for Every Class", AI student weak-area identification software for fixing learning gaps before exams, student performance analytics for secondary grades 9 to 12, academic analytics, and school academic reporting software. School leaders get an AI-Powered Education Dashboard "Built for Principals, Vice Principals, Directors and Owners" and a principal dashboard pitched as "See Your Entire School in One View."
For families, the list includes a Parent Portal, a Parent Teacher Communication App and Parent Engagement Software with "Daily Insights & Parent App". The company's blog says SchoolAi "bridges the home-school divide with parent engagement dashboards that deliver real-time insights into student progress", so parents can support learning at home.
The service list also names a remedial teaching platform with "AI-Powered Support for Every Struggling Student", online tutoring and live chat learning "Available Inside the Classroom", a hybrid learning solution, smart classroom solutions with "No Expensive Hardware Required", an AI-powered school management system, and a platform for school chains and franchises offering "Consistent Learning Across Every Branch".
Boards and grades
The service pages are organized by board and stage. They include a CBSE learning platform, an online learning platform for ICSE students, platforms for Telangana State Board and Andhra Pradesh State Board schools, and dedicated products for middle school (grades 6 to 8) and secondary school (grades 9 to 12). One service page describes the platform as "NEP 2020 Compliant", referring to India's National Education Policy, with the promise of a "Transition Without Disruption." That is the company's own claim.
Results the company reports
Coschool's blog states: "Schools using SchoolAi by Coschool have documented 8-11% increases in class averages." The FAQ on the same page repeats it as schools "reporting 8-11% improvements in class averages after deployment." The page gives no details on how many schools or which subjects that covers, so treat it as the company's own figure. A service page titled "School Academic Performance Improvement Software" promises "Measurable Class Average Gains" on the same basis.
The problem it is built for
The company frames SchoolAi against the conditions of Indian classrooms. Its blog cites ASER 2024 data that only 44.8% of Class V government school students can read a Class II level text, and that "1,10,971 schools operate with a single teacher, and 66.6% of primary classrooms are multigrade." Its argument is that a teacher handling several grades at once cannot give each student individual attention without help, and that the tutor plus the teacher dashboard is that help.
It also separates itself from consumer apps. In the company's words, consumer EdTech apps "focus on video lessons, practice tests, and subscription models", while institutional platforms "integrate into school operations with teacher dashboards, curriculum-mapped content, student performance tracking, and school administration tools." SchoolAi is meant to be the second kind.
Pricing and contact
There is no public price list. The comparison table says: "Contact Coschool for institutional pricing; purpose-built for private schools with fee structures typically above ₹20,000/year". So the target is a private school charging at least that much in annual fees, and the price itself is quoted. The contact form is labeled "Request Custom Quote", and the company says its experts will reply within 24 hours with a proposal and pricing. The page lists a phone line and the support@coschool.ai address for direct contact. A separate service page targets private schools "Designed for Tier 2 Schools."
The company's FAQ advises schools comparing platforms to look for data privacy compliance with "India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023", among other criteria.
Who Coschool fits
SchoolAi fits an Indian private school, or a chain of them, on CBSE, ICSE or the Telangana or Andhra Pradesh state boards, that wants students to get guided help on homework and wants teachers and the principal to see where each class is falling behind. Schools that put parent communication high on the list get a parent portal and app as part of the same system. A chain gets a product pitched at keeping teaching consistent across branches.
It is not a course platform for selling courses to the public or a catalog for individual learners, and the company itself says it is built for schools rather than families buying a subscription. Schools outside India, or outside the boards it names, are not the audience its pages address.
