What ISE Cursos is

ISE Cursos is a Spanish-language online institute selling vocational and professional courses to adult learners who want a new trade or a qualification for their current job without attending classes. The homepage welcomes "nuestros alumnos de Latinoamérica y España" (our students in Latin America and Spain) and sums up its offer as accredited certification, study that is 100 percent online, at your own pace, with a start on the same day ("Certificación acreditada", "Estudiá 100% online", "A tu ritmo", "Empezás hoy mismo"). It reports 25 years in operation ("25 años de trayectoria"), more than 70,000 trained students, more than 1,000 courses available and more than 45 areas of study. Course lengths run from one to nine months, and the homepage pitches them as a way to move ahead at work or start a new activity.

The catalog

The catalog leans heavily toward practical, hands-on occupations rather than academic subjects. The homepage groups it into eight browsing areas with their course counts: trades (Oficios) with 70 courses, health (Salud) with 62, agriculture, veterinary and animals with 47, beauty and body aesthetics with 38, sport and recreation with 33, administrative, legal and accounting with 31, security and forensics with 19, and education with 12. Learners can also browse by length, choosing between courses of 1, 3, 4, 6 or 9 months, take a vocational orientation test, or answer three questions in a course finder that suggests options from the most popular courses.

The weekly ranking of the most chosen courses gives a feel for the range. At the top is Peluquería y Estética Canina (dog grooming and aesthetics), a four-month course, followed by Capacitación en Piercing, a one-month training. Técnico Auxiliar en Ganado Vacuno (an assistant technician course in cattle) and Acompañante Terapéutico y Asistente en Discapacidad (therapeutic companion and disability assistant) each take nine months, Instructor de Equinoterapia (equine therapy and riding rehabilitation instructor) takes six, and Piloto de Dron, aimed at mapping, surveying and agriculture, takes four. Each title in that ranking carries a "+ IA" suffix. Testimonials add further titles: a baby swimming instructor course, aerial silks and aerial dance instruction, an optics and contact lens assistant technician course, a philosophy diploma, a nursing assistant and first aid course, and a forensic assistant program covering fingerprints, chemistry, neurocriminology and odontology.

Beyond the standard distance courses, the menu lists premium courses, one-month trainings (Capacitaciones de 1 mes), diploma programs (Diplomaturas), a university introduction course, a certification program, video courses, combos and memberships.

How studying works

Every course is studied online, and enrolled learners use a student area that the site describes as the place to access their courses, materials and progress tracking ("Accedé a tus cursos, materiales y seguimiento"). The testimonials describe a self-directed format built on downloadable material and written answers. María Alejandra A., on the optics course, writes "Podía bajar el material, leerlo y luego ir respondiendo" (I could download the material, read it and then answer as I went) and says the format fit her schedule. Oscar Ariel O., on the philosophy diploma, calls the material very complete and values being able to set his own study hours. Silvia Edith D., on the forensic program, describes it as very didactic with good, easy-to-access material and thanks her adviser for answering her questions. Eliana Gisella A. says her baby swimming instructor course reinforced what she had learned in her physical education teacher training.

The teaching side is presented through a list of profiles who teach or have taught at the institute. It runs from a licensed obstetrician, a firearms instructor and a dog grooming specialist to a veterinarian, a food science graduate, a speech therapist, a nurse, a pharmacist, a social worker, a bartender and international cocktail instructor, a content creator, two judges and a doctor. The homepage says these professionals bring real experience to the courses, across health, education, trades, security, aesthetics and management.

Certificates

At the end of a course the institute issues a certificate of studies so the learner can show the training. The homepage states that this certificate "es avalado mediante personería jurídica por la Fundación Instituto Superior de Enseñanza (N° de resolución 076)" (is backed, through its legal registration, by the Fundación Instituto Superior de Enseñanza, resolution no. 076), and that it is available on completing any course. Premium and international courses also include a certificate from AENEH España, according to the same section. A "Valida tu certificado" tool on the site lets anyone check a certificate.

Prices and payment

The courses in the weekly ranking all show US$74 with a 50 percent discount, bringing them to US$37 per module; the one-month piercing course shows US$37 as a single payment. The homepage was also running a September flash sale with free enrollment and 64 percent off all installments. Payment runs through PayPal or Hotmart, which the site says lets learners use the payment methods of their own country, and the page describes checkout as 100 percent secure.

Free activities

The institute runs free activities open to anyone. Two live classes on Zoom were listed, one on whether suicide can be prevented, led by a specialist in the subject, and one on managing urban solid waste. Places are limited, in the page's words "Cupo para los primeros 100" (places for the first 100), and each class comes with a certificate of attendance. A free, fully online short course on writing a modern CV is also available, with sign-up taking a minute and the course starting the same day.

Support and institution

Questions go mainly through WhatsApp. The homepage lists several named advisers for general course advice and a separate contact for the one-month trainings, and the chat widget gives a usual response time of under an hour. The institutional menu links to an about page, partners, a job board, testimonials, a quality policy and a complaints and suggestions box, and the homepage shows a rating of 4.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot.

Who it suits

ISE Cursos suits Spanish-speaking adults in Latin America or Spain who want a practical qualification in a specific trade or care role and prefer to study alone on their own timetable: someone training as a dog groomer, a therapeutic companion, an equine therapy instructor, a drone pilot or a nursing assistant. The one-month trainings and the free CV course are a low-commitment way in, while the nine-month programs go deeper. Learners who want a fixed class timetable will find a different model here, since the site sells its courses as self-paced, and the credential at the end is the institute's certificate of studies described above.
