What iLearning is

iLearning is a Portuguese-language catalog of online training courses for adults who want to add a professional skill or a certificate without sitting in a classroom. The footer describes it as a brand of Comunilog Consulting ("iLearning é uma marca Comunilog Consulting"), and the homepage promises access to more than 100 online courses taught by what it calls the leading specialists in the market ("Acesso a mais de 100 Cursos Online, lecionados pelos maiores especialistas do mercado!"). Each course is sold on its own, carries a fixed number of hours and a price in euros, and the site says every one of them is certified. To enroll, a student registers for an account, adds a course from the catalog to the cart and studies on the iLearning e-learning platform, which has its own login linked from every page.

The catalog

The course menu is organized into broad professional areas, and the sidebar on each listing page shows how many courses sit in each one. Workplace safety and hygiene (Segurança e Higiene no Trabalho) is by far the largest area with 63 courses, spread over occupational hygiene, safety at work, private security and the food industries. Personal development and social work follows with 31, trainer and teacher education (Formação de Professores/Formadores) with 29, and health and well-being, languages and technology with 22 each. Smaller areas include management and administration (16), business organization (14), marketing and advertising (9), psychology and child protection (8), animal and agricultural production (7), finance and accounting (6), commerce and energy and climate control (4 each), food (3) and transport (2). A highlights section (Destaques) and a short programs strand complete the menu.

The subcategories show the range inside those areas. Health and well-being splits into pharmaceutical sciences, beauty care, sport, nutrition and health services. Business organization covers law, quality, data protection and human resources. Technology covers audiovisual and media production, CAD and technical drawing, and general IT. Finance takes in accounting and tax as well as banking and insurance. The language area teaches Spanish, French, English, Italian and Portuguese. Sales techniques include a real estate strand, and trainer education is divided into learning and teaching on one side and group management on the other.

Example courses and prices

The listing pages show each course with its length in hours, a short description, a "what you will learn" outline (O que vais aprender) and a module list. Many carry a discount badge of 10 or 30 percent with the original price struck through, and learners can filter by duration in bands of under 20 hours, 20 to 50 hours, 51 to 200 hours and over 200 hours.

In health and well-being, Primeiros Socorros (first aid) runs 15 hours for 80 euros and works through bleeding, wounds and burns, poisoning and airway obstruction in four modules. Dermocosmética (dermocosmetics) is a 20-hour course at 99 euros (regular 110 euros) on skin anatomy, cosmetic actives, facial and body care routines, hair care, corrective makeup and sun protection, including care for aging skin, acne and a baby's skin. Puericultura e Cuidados do Bebé, a childcare course of 50 hours at 99 euros, covers infant growth, feeding, hygiene, sleep, illness prevention, equipment and safety, and emotional bonding across seven modules. Reiki Nível I (Shoden) is 25 hours at 119 euros (regular 132 euros), Introdução à Alimentação Vegetariana (an introduction to vegetarian eating) is 25 hours at 80 euros and closes with a final assessment module, and a 12-hour course on preventing and controlling Legionella in water systems, built around risk analysis and control plans, costs 135 euros (regular 150 euros). For the sports field there are Marketing Desportivo (25 hours) and a 20-hour course on planning and managing sports events, both at 135 euros (regular 150 euros).

The IT listing is just as concrete. Excel Inicial is a 20-hour beginners' course at 56 euros, down from 80 euros, on sheet formatting, formulas and charts, and Excel Avançado moves on to advanced functions, sheet customization, data management and macros for 104 euros (regular 149 euros). The IT listing heads it "Excel Avançado 30 horas" (Advanced Excel, 30 hours). Adobe Premiere Pro (20 hours) costs 152 euros (regular 169 euros), Introdução ao Microsoft Project (32 hours) 206 euros (regular 229 euros) and Microsoft Outlook Inicial (10 hours) 116 euros (regular 129 euros). A 50-hour introduction to geographic information systems with the open source QGIS software and a 100-hour course on artificial intelligence from the user's point of view are both 211 euros (regular 234 euros). Produtividade em Inteligência Artificial, at 20 hours and 269 euros (regular 299 euros), has modules on writing prompts, the three main chatbots, practical applications and fitting AI into the working day.

How the learning works

The site says little about its platform in its own voice, but the testimonials on the homepage give a fairly clear picture. Lessons are recorded: Cândida Braga, who took Excel Inicial, writes that "As gravações das lições para estudo foram claras e curtas" (the recorded lessons were clear and short), that she had time to complete the exercises for assessment, and that the trainer answered her questions promptly and clearly. Cátia Faria, on the e-trainer course (Formação de e-formadores), says "o Tutor responde sempre a todas as dúvidas" (the tutor always answers every question) and adds that a separate team helps with questions about the platform itself. Filipa Casal, who took the Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho course for senior occupational safety technicians, notes that the trainers reply quickly to emailed questions and supplied plenty of material to go deeper.

The pattern is recorded video lessons, assessed exercises and a named trainer who can be reached by email. Carlos Mendes, on AutoCAD 2D Ferramentas Essenciais, calls the platform easy to access and intuitive, and thanks his trainer for leaving him with far more AutoCAD knowledge than he arrived with. José Carvalho, who took Cross Training as a complement to a personal trainer course, describes his trainer as having "boa capacidade de comunicação e elevados conhecimentos técnicos" (good communication skills and high technical knowledge) and praises the "material de apoio muito completo" (very complete support materials). Ana Almeida, on an intensive social media management course for Facebook and Instagram, credits the tips, links, videos and materials her trainer provided.

Certificates

The course overview page states "Todos os nossos cursos são certificados e recebes um certificado a validar o teu curso" (all our courses are certified and you receive a certificate validating your course), and a homepage headline repeats that certification is available on every course. The site does not name the body behind those certificates. The FAQ includes a question on requesting a new certificate if the original is lost.

Buying, support and company training

Courses are bought one at a time: each card shows a price and an add button (Adicionar). The FAQ page groups the questions learners ask most, from the price of a course and the payment method to canceling an enrollment, opening a course from any computer, whether the courses are cheaper and how to enroll, with an information request form underneath. Support is by phone on +351 961 926 240, which the site notes is charged at the rate of a call to a national mobile network, and by email at formacaoonline@comunilog.com. The menu also points to a training offer for companies (Formação Empresas), to the Cheque-Formação + Digital program, and to a page inviting trainers to apply to teach for iLearning ("Quer ser nosso formador?"). The footer links to the electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico).

Who it suits

iLearning fits Portuguese-speaking adults who want a specific, short professional course with a certificate at the end: a safety technician adding to their qualifications, an office worker who needs Excel, Project or Outlook, a fitness professional adding cross training or sports marketing, or a trainer learning to teach online. Fixed per-course prices, from 56 to 269 euros after discount on the listings shown, make the cost easy to judge before enrolling, and the module lists show exactly what each course covers. Companies can look at the separate business training offer, and trainers have a route to teach on the platform. The catalog and the platform are in Portuguese, so it is not a fit for learners who do not read the language.
