What Formación Carpe Diem is
Formación Carpe Diem is a Spanish online training center that sells individual courses, expert titles and specializations, most of them designed to add points in public-sector job boards and competitive exams (bolsas and oposiciones) or to strengthen a CV. The home page describes "cursos online acreditados y homologados, válidos para oposiciones, empleo y/o mejora profesional" (accredited and approved online courses, valid for competitive exams, employment and/or professional improvement), and says learners study at their own pace from home "con certificación válida en toda España y en otros países" (with certification valid across Spain and in other countries). The site prices courses in euros and offers a currency switcher for Mexican, Chilean, Colombian, Peruvian and Argentine pesos and soles as well as US dollars.
The scale claims are the company's own. The home page lists more than 1,000,000 students trained, more than 24 years of training experience, more than 20 awards, 10 accrediting bodies for training quality, 92% student satisfaction, more than 120,000 verified reviews and more than 60% of students returning, with a 4.8 / 5 score shown beside a Trustpilot badge. It says it offers more than 500 online courses and describes its offer as one of the largest catalogs of accredited online courses in Spain.
The catalog
The course menu reads like a list of Spanish public-sector and care professions: administrative staff and assistants, home-help assistants, nursing assistants, veterinary assistants, hospital porters (celadores), librarianship, security forces, criminology, dental hygiene, X-ray technicians, emergency technicians, embalming, social work, social care, mental health, gender equality and gender violence. Alongside those sit nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, psychology and child psychology, speech therapy, teaching and early-years education, dog training, nutrition, sport, coaching, marketing and digital marketing, IT, AI, English, human resources, workplace risk prevention, tourism, hospitality, gardening and the environment. There are also summer courses, free courses, subsidized courses, preparation for the free-standing vocational exams (Pruebas Libres FP), and packs grouped by profession.
The coaching category shows the range of formats. Short 30-hour courses such as Crecimiento personal, Disciplina positiva and Inteligencia emocional para líderes cost 9 €. Most 150-hour coaching courses, including Curso Coaching Emocional, Coaching Deportivo, Coaching Empresarial and Coaching Familiar, cost 96 €. A 150-hour Curso Coaching with 6 ECTS credits costs 99 €, and Inteligencia emocional (200 hours, 8 ECTS) costs 101 €. Expert titles run to 550 or 580 hours at 275 €, and the Especialización Coaching is 680 hours at 305 €. Two 300-hour packs on coaching in schools carry 12 ECTS credits each.
The physiotherapy category follows the same pattern: Lesiones deportivas (150 hours, 6 ECTS) at 89 €, Traumatología para fisioterapeutas (125 hours, 5 ECTS) at 92 €, Movilización y técnicas de masajes at 99 €, a 75-hour Masajista course at 43 €, Primeros auxilios (50 hours, 2 ECTS) at 42 €, and the Curso Superior en Entrenamiento Deportivo (500 hours, 20 ECTS) at 199 €. The offers menu adds a section of courses at 60% off and special offers.
Titles and what they count for
The catalog filter is the clearest guide to what each course is worth, because it labels every course by its certifying body. Labels include accreditation by the Universidad de Nebrija, the Universidad EUNEIZ, the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes and Universidad UTAMED, alone or in pairs; accreditation by the Comisión de Formación Continuada, or in process with it; endorsement by the Consejo Independiente de Protección de la Infancia; recognition of official status by ESSSCAN, which the catalog page describes as a public-law body under the health department of the Canary Islands; recognition of teaching and health interest by the Consejería de Salud; approval by AICM, the Asociación Internacional de Coaching y Mentoring, for coaching; the school's own certification (Certificación Propia); professional qualifications; FP exam preparation; and its own professional expert, specialization and master titles.
The 2026 catalog page sets out the legal basis it claims. Its courses are described as "Válidos en bolsas, oposiciones, traslados, concursos, Administraciones Públicas, con efecto en todo el territorio nacional" under Real Decreto 1142/2007, Ley 44/2003 de Ordenación de las Profesiones Sanitarias and the Orden of 16 January 1997, with the explicit caveat "salvo criterios de excepción específicos de la entidad convocante" (except where the specific convening body sets its own criteria). The same page says courses are valid with private employers and for the self-employed, can be subsidized for workers through the Fundación Tripartita, and that the professional qualifications give access to the accreditation of skills toward Certificados de Profesionalidad and FP titles. The physiotherapy FAQ adds that university-accredited courses are valid for oposiciones and job boards and come in a digital format with a QR code for official validation, again subject to the convening body's criteria, while any of its courses is valid for private job boards. Many university-accredited courses can also be used to validate university subjects (convalidar asignaturas).
For coaching, passing the assessment earns a title approved by AICM, and learners can apply for a professional coach card and entry to the AICM database and a coach job board. The coaching page notes that no university degree is needed to start.
How studying works
Study is 100% online with no timetable, and enrollment is open all year with immediate access to the virtual classroom (Aula Virtual) after enrolling. The FAQ lays out the steps: choose a course, enroll on the website, get access to the virtual classroom, progress at your own pace with help from tutors, then take the final assessment and receive the certificate. The classroom is available 24 hours a day and works on phones and tablets. The coaching page lists downloadable manuals, explanatory videos, case studies and self-assessments, and the home page adds updated syllabi, practical content, webinars and podcasts.
Support is a strong point on paper. The coaching page says tutors resolve questions through the platform, by email or by phone, and the home page lists phone support from Monday to Friday, 9 to 15 h and 17 to 19 h. Learners can also join live sessions on social media, held Monday to Friday at 12:30 h, to put questions to the teaching team. Director Sonia Luna, presented as a registered psychologist, says she supervises the pedagogy of the coaching programs.
Awards and reviews
The coaching page lists awards including the Premios Excelencia Educativa with a special prize for best multidisciplinary training center, the Premio Nacional Reyes Católicos, the Premio Andalucía a la Excelencia en Formación Online Multidisciplinar and a management excellence award from El Economista and Informa D&B. Student reviews on the site mention a simple enrollment process and courses taken for a public-sector stabilization process.
Who it suits
Formación Carpe Diem suits Spanish candidates building points for oposiciones, job boards and transfers, care and health workers who need accredited continuing-education hours, and people who want an inexpensive coaching title with a professional card. The low prices and the choice between university-accredited, AICM-approved and in-house titles let learners match a course to the merit they need. Because recognition always depends on the rules of each call, a learner should match the title type to the specific call before enrolling.
