What Foundr is
Foundr is a media and education company for entrepreneurs. Its home page describes it as "a global media and education company for entrepreneurs" that aims to educate and inspire today's founders to become tomorrow's business icons, and it reaches that audience through a monthly magazine, weekly podcasts, articles, free video training and online courses. The paid product is the Foundr+ membership, which the membership page pitches as "The #1 Learning Platform For Ecomm Founders": a library of practical courses taught by founders, live events, an AI coach, a mobile app and a private community. The membership page reports 30K+ students, 3M+ followers, 30+ courses, 300+ podcasts and 10+ years of delivering on its promise, and the newsletter sign-up counts 300,000+ entrepreneurs worldwide.
The company's background is in publishing. Foundr says it connects millions of people with entrepreneurs such as Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Mark Cuban and Jack Dorsey, and its magazine has featured interviews with names like Seth Godin, Gary Vaynerchuk, Tony Robbins, Barbara Corcoran and Sophia Amoruso. These are interview subjects rather than course instructors. More recently, the membership page says, Foundr has concentrated on ecommerce, breaking down the strategies of top entrepreneurs into steps anyone can use to start, build and grow an online business.
The courses
The catalog follows a rule the courses page calls practitioners, not gurus: only founders with real experience of building a business teach. Gretta Van Riel's Start & Scale Your Online Store walks through launching an ecommerce business with the formula she used to build 4x multi-million dollar stores. Nick Shackelford's How To Run Facebook Ads 2.0 draws on $100M of ad spend across 150+ businesses.
Other courses cover finding trending products (Manny Barbas and James Hachem), selling on Amazon (Melisa Vong), product sourcing and product development (Kian Golzari), YouTube ads (Tommie Powers), TikTok ads (Gerardo Perez), social media monetization (Talia Datta), personal branding (Rory Vaden), building a beauty brand (Alicia Scott), Instagram growth (Nathan Chan), outreach that finds 10-20 qualified leads a week (AJ Cassata), finance for founders (Alexa Von Tobel), copywriting (Arman Assadi), content marketing (Eric Bandholz of Beardbrand), business growth (Steve McLeod), growth hacking (Bronson Taylor), mental toughness (Joe De Sena), accelerated learning (Ulrich Boser), time-saving systems for overworked founders (Vinay Patankar) and competition-proof businesses (Jim McKelvey). Ecommerce Masters brings five founders into one 9-hour course on scaling a store toward the million-dollar mark. Daymond John's Deal Flow course, on deal-making and negotiation, is offered free.
The membership page adds ecommerce courses and experts beyond that list: Camille Moore's Ecommerce Branding Blueprint, Jordan Menard on crafting winning offers, Chase Dimond on email marketing, Harry Sanders on SEO for online stores, Binh Rey on trademarking, Yoni Kozminski on scaling through outsourced talent, Amy Benson on startup pitches, Julie Hirsch on sustainable brands, and Lauren Kennedy and Brooke Marks on fashion resale. The FAQ says members who start without a business idea are guided through different business models, from ecommerce to digital agencies, while existing store owners get programs on product selection, influencer partnerships and Amazon selling.
Most courses come with a free mini training, so a visitor can sample the teaching before paying. The home page adds free masterclasses: starting a profitable online store in 12 weeks or less with Gretta Van Riel, the formula Foundr used to reach 500k Instagram followers in 12 months with Nathan Chan, and Facebook ads for ecommerce with Nick Shackelford.

Learning is self-paced, and the FAQ says even a few minutes a day can make progress. Members can take the courses in any order, choosing whatever fits their business at the moment.
Pricing, trial and guarantee
Foundr+ starts with 14 days of access for $1, after which the monthly membership rebills at $99/month; members can cancel at any time, and VAT may apply depending on the billing address. Cancelling or pausing goes through the success team by email. The membership page carries a Success Guarantee: if a member who has actively learned, applied the methods and engaged with the community sees no measurable results in 90 days, Foundr offers a full refund.
Courses can also be bought individually. A member who cancels keeps any courses bought separately before joining but loses the Foundr+ content. A current summer flash sale on Start & Scale saves $1,500 (75% off). The site also lists Foundr+ for Teams, 1-1 coaching, a free consultation with admissions, an affiliate program and an invitation to become an instructor. An earnings disclaimer reminds readers that the results quoted on the site are not promises of income.
Student results
Testimonials on the courses page include Yara Kamal of Scoria World, whose business the page says scaled from $30,000-$50,000 a month to over $100,000 per month with Facebook ads strategies from Ecommerce Masters, and who now reports at least 700 or a thousand orders a month. Austin Peterson of Black Dog Traders, the page says, sold multiple trucks worth $250,000 through Instagram after taking Instagram Domination. Jennifer Cai of Zenbody calls Gretta Van Riel and Start & Scale her virtual mentors in ecommerce, while noting that some modules felt simplistic at first.
Who it suits
Foundr+ fits people starting or growing an ecommerce brand, from someone still looking for a product idea to an owner trying to scale ads, sourcing and email. The FAQ recommends keeping a job while starting a business on the side, and the short lessons and app suit that kind of schedule. Coaches, consultants and creators will find relevant courses on outreach, copywriting and personal branding, though the membership's ecommerce focus means founders in other fields will use a smaller part of the library. It is practical business education built on founders' frameworks rather than a credential program.
