What EducAvanti is
EducAvanti is a Swiss continuing education school, run by EducAvanti GmbH in Spiez, that teaches working adults through what it calls aktiv betreutes E-Learning (actively supervised e-learning) and through blended learning. Its programs lead to Swiss federal professional certificates (Fachausweise) and to certificates in management, human resources, public relations, marketing and commercial skills, and it also offers exam preparation and online tutoring for those federal certificates. The training is designed to fit around a job, which the site calls berufsbegleitend, alongside work. EducAvanti states that it is certified by EduQua, the Swiss quality certificate for continuing education institutions. Its home page argues that regular classroom meetings were once the only way to complete training, and that self-study through e-learning is now the modern alternative for many different groups of learners.
What learners study
The current offer on the home page highlights four programs. HR-Fachleute Fachrichtung A is for HR specialists, who in the site's words shape a company's future and its position in the labor market. Management SVF deepens knowledge of change management, personnel management and general management. The HR-Zertifikat is the entry route to a career as an HR assistant, with courses starting each March and September. Rechtsgrundlagen für KMU, Kaufleute und Gewerbe teaches legal basics to people in small businesses, commerce and the trades who have little or no legal background. By subject, the home page adds Leadership SVF, on leading staff responsibly with modern approaches; Rechnungswesen für KMU, which covers every area of finance and accounting through many practical exercises; the Handelsdiplom, a commercial diploma for people entering or switching into office work; and Technische Kaufleute, the generalist program that links technology and business administration.
The e-learning catalog breaks this down into individual courses. For managers (Führungsfachleute) there are courses in personnel management, from recruitment and career planning to employment references; process management; project management, covering planning, monitoring, steering and risk assessment; accounting for operational and strategic decisions; business administration; self-management through work methods and time management; conflict management; self-knowledge; team leadership; communication and presentation, including difficult leadership conversations; general management; and change management in a VUCA environment.
The course descriptions are practical in focus. The conflict management course teaches learners to handle small and large conflicts at work and to mediate between parties; team leadership is about applying different leadership techniques and styles well; the general management course works from the basic terms of business administration to the actions they call for at management level; and the VUCA course applies change management tools and methods to daily leadership work. On the PR side, the content course targets typical mistakes in written communication and helps learners improve their personal writing style, while the sponsoring course treats sponsoring as more than a way to raise money, goods or in-kind support.
Public relations courses cover successful sponsoring, writing and editing PR content, building professional PR concepts with budgets and timelines, and sponsoring management. For commercial staff and small businesses there are courses in written business correspondence, accounting, legal basics, and social insurance, payroll administration and employment law for HR assistants. Digitales Marketing für Marketing und Verkauf teaches learners to use the tools of digital marketing in marketing and sales. Further module and brush-up courses add topics such as logistics, economics, negotiation, organization and project management, and planning PR events.
For educators, the Kompaktkurs E-Didaktik und E-Methodik teaches how to move classroom content and activities into digital form and how to teach, moderate and coach online, and a course on AV media shows how to produce professional learning media with suitable tools.
How the teaching works
Every course runs in actively supervised e-learning. Learners divide their study time as they wish and work through the content on their own using e-books or in a group, then meet their lecturer in regular online meetings held with professional screen-sharing software built for e-learning. Lecturers give feedback on submitted case studies, mini-cases and other knowledge checks through the learning platform, or in direct exchange during webinars. The site says every lecturer in these courses is experienced in the subject and trained in adult education; someone taking PR training, for example, is taught by a lecturer with extensive professional practice in public relations.
Learners also get access to real exam situations, which the site presents as part of a flexible preparation for the professional exam. The school's pitch is that learners set their own learning goals and study times, with EducAvanti as the partner at their side; with its support, the site says, a learner studying alongside work becomes their own manager. Company courses can be run as blended learning on request.
Federal funding
For preparation courses leading to the federal professional exams (eidgenössische Berufsprüfungen) and the federal higher professional exams (Höhere Fachprüfungen), the home page explains that new rules apply to financial support: graduates now receive 50 percent of the eligible course fees back from the federal government, and everyone who sits the corresponding federal exam is entitled to this support. The page links a short explanatory video and further information on the federal contributions. The site publishes no course fees, so the amount refunded depends on the price the school quotes for each course.
Trying it first
Prospective learners can book a free Probelektion (trial lesson) or join an online information event. In an information event, participants are booked into a virtual classroom on the learning platform. A lecturer shows how learners work interactively and communicate in the learning community, introduces the teaching materials, the learning method and the lecturer team, and ends with a virtual tour through the course and learning rooms of the program the participant is interested in. The home page lists upcoming evening events in November and December 2026, and an FAQ and contact page handle further questions.
Who it suits
EducAvanti suits employed adults in Switzerland who want a recognized professional qualification without leaving work: an HR assistant starting the HR-Zertifikat, an HR specialist preparing for the federal certificate, a team leader taking Management or Leadership SVF, a PR professional sharpening concept and writing skills, or someone moving into office work through the Handelsdiplom. Small-business owners can take single courses in accounting, law or written communication, and teachers who need to move their teaching online have the e-didactics course. The format fits learners who want a named lecturer and regular meetings while studying at their own pace, and those preparing for a federal exam can count on the 50 percent federal refund. It is less suited to someone looking for an English-language program, since the site and the course names are in German.
