What Uscreen is
Uscreen is a video monetization and membership platform for creators who want to sell access to their videos on their own site and in their own branded apps. The home page calls it "the only platform that combines video, livestreaming and community features across all devices", and the pitch is to turn a video library into a recurring subscription business rather than a one-off course sale. Fitness and yoga instructors, coaches and educators, media companies, event broadcasters and YouTubers are the audiences it names.
The about page gives the company's history: Uscreen was founded in 2014 in Washington, DC, bootstrapped for ten years, and in 2025 took a $150M growth investment from PSG, which it describes as its first institutional capital. The team is listed as 91 people in 27 countries, and the company says it is remote-first. Its own figures, which the about page says are "rounded conservatively", are $1B+ earned by creators on the platform, 15M+ end users and 3,000+ branded mobile, TV and OTT apps launched; the home page says Uscreen "has helped over 4,000+ creators succeed".
What creators get
A video catalog. Uploaded videos sit in what Uscreen calls a "Netflix-style catalog", included in all plans. The pricing page lists customizable content filters, search, comments, favorites and watch later, video notes and downloadables, and auto-generated captions. Members can comment, download and build their own playlists. One-off courses can be sold alongside the membership, so a structured program and an on-demand library can live in the same place.
Selling. The monetization tools on every plan include native Stripe and PayPal integration, tiered subscriptions, one-time purchases, pay-per-view and rentals, free trials for your members, and a one-page checkout. The marketing tools add coupons and giveaway funnels, and a home page calculator lets you estimate yearly revenue from audience size, conversion rate and monthly price.
Live streaming and events. Native live streaming lets members join from any device and chat live, and a calendar tool reminds members to show up. Gated Zoom links are on every plan for sessions run on Zoom. The partners page lists Restream.io, Ecamm Live, StreamYard and Camo as live streaming tools that work with Uscreen, each with a partner offer for Uscreen customers.
Community. The community sits next to the video library, with public and private channels. On the Custom plan it extends to direct messages, user-generated video, interactive video challenges and user profiles, plus a calendar, streaks and badges for keeping members on a schedule.
Mobile and TV apps. Uscreen builds branded apps without coding and says you could have your own apps in 30 days. The App Essentials plan includes iOS and Android apps with in-app purchases, offline viewing and push notifications, and a full-service launch with monthly updates. The Custom plan adds 5 TV apps covering Samsung TV, Apple TV, Roku TV, Android TV and Fire TV. The home page cites a 4.5 average app store rating.
Marketing, automation and CRM. The membership tools page describes landing pages for capturing leads, a CRM holding each contact's email history, purchases, engagement and subscription status, tagging and segmentation, behavior-triggered email sequences, broadcast campaigns and pre-built templates. A Reduce Churn tool shows a survey and a win-back offer when a member tries to cancel, and Try Again for Free sends a series of discount emails to members who left. The page claims creators using automations and email see 4x higher revenue, 22% more new members and 18% better conversion rates.
Analytics. Reports cover sales and financial health, YouTube-like content performance, subscribers, industry benchmarks, and marketing, retention and community engagement.
Integrations. The membership tools page names Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Zapier, Stripe, Facebook and Delphi. The partners page adds Drip, Flodesk, Rewardful and Refersion for affiliate and referral programs, and says Zapier connects Uscreen with 2,000+ tools. API access, integrations and whitelabeling are listed on the Custom plan.
Plans and pricing
The pricing page publishes four plans, with annual billing saving "up to 20%".
- Starter, $49/mo, monthly only, $0 subscriber fee. A Uscreen branded domain, a 100 subscriber limit, the catalog, monetization, analytics, marketing and automations, gated Zoom links and native live streaming, a 10% fee for one-time sales, 20 hours of video storage, 1 free hour of live streaming, 1 admin seat, and email and chat support.
- Growth, $199/mo billed monthly or $149/mo billed annually, plus a $1.99 subscriber fee. A custom branded domain, unlimited subscribers, a 5% fee for one-time sales, 100 hours of video storage with storage added as you grow, 1 free hour of live streaming and 1 admin seat.
- App Essentials, $499/mo monthly or $449/mo annually, plus a $0.99 subscriber fee. Everything in Growth, plus 2 mobile apps (iOS and Android), onboarding support, migration support for users, payments and content, and 3 admin seats.
- Custom, priced on request after a demo. TV apps, the extended community, calendar, streaks and badges, API access, integrations, whitelabeling, a dedicated success manager, support for your end users, B2B sales with group subscriptions, custom storage and live hours, and unlimited admin seats, with the 5% one-time sales fee.
The subscriber fee is the line to budget for: on Growth and App Essentials it is charged per subscriber on top of the plan price, and every plan takes a percentage of one-time sales. A free trial is offered ("Try 14 days free, cancel anytime"), and the examples page says no card is needed.
Support and migration
The home page promises 1:1 help with setting up your business model, content strategy and pricing, dedicated onboarding and account managers, and "24/7 support for you and your members". Migrations are described as "free, fast and easy", handled by a Migrations team. The site also has a help center, a blog and resource center, case studies, paid growth coaching and a community for membership operators.
Who Uscreen suits
Uscreen fits creators whose product is an ongoing video library rather than a single course: a yoga or fitness studio moving online, a coach or educator with a back catalog and a community, a media company or event broadcaster that wants its own apps on phones and TVs. The case studies on the site lean heavily toward fitness, yoga and lifestyle memberships, with figures such as Abundance+ reporting 7,700 active members.
It is less of a fit for a creator selling one course who wants the lowest cost per sale, because the subscriber fees and one-time sales fees add up as a membership grows, and the Starter plan stops at 100 subscribers. It is also built for memberships, not for assigning training to employees or students, and the pages describe no quizzes or completion certificates, so a course that needs assessments will need another tool.
