What Vector Solutions is

Vector Solutions sells online training and the software to run it to organizations in regulated, safety-heavy industries. Its homepage calls it an "AI Enabled Performance Platform" whose software brings "training, safety, and workforce operations together," and it claims to be "Trusted by 24,000+ Industry Leaders." The product menu has five parts: Training Management, Online Training, Safety Management, Workforce Scheduling and Employee Performance. The named products are Vector LMS, Vector EHS, Vector Scheduling and Vector Check It.

For this directory, the parts that matter are the course libraries and Vector LMS. The reader is an L&D, safety or compliance manager at a school district, a college, a manufacturer, a fire or EMS agency, a police department, a construction or engineering firm, a facilities company or a casino, who needs industry-specific courses and proof that staff completed them.

The course libraries

The online training line promises "industry-specific courses to build skills, ensure compliance, and drive readiness," and the Course Center splits the catalog into libraries by sector.

Education. K-12 educator and staff training covers safety, special education, driver training and more, and a student safety and wellness program offers courses "on mental health, career readiness, and personal safety." Career and technical education courses include industry-recognized credentials "like OSHA." For colleges there are student training, workforce readiness training, and faculty and staff training on compliance, safety and campus culture. The K-12 staff menu names topics such as school bus drivers, cybersecurity awareness, facilities maintenance, child sexual abuse prevention and a new positive school climate series. Vector Pathways is described as "an all-in-one work-based learning platform" for career and technical education, and the resource menu offers an AlcoholEdu for College brochure. Colleges can also run campus climate surveys to "Simplify VAWA compliance," and both schools and colleges get anonymous reporting that lets people "anonymously report tips 24/7." Professional growth software ties staff evaluations to professional learning.

Industrial. Manufacturing safety training, industrial skills training, and paper manufacturing training "that supports safe and efficient pulping, papermaking, tissue, and corrugated production," plus HR and professional development courses. The resource menu adds libraries for power generation, electrical transmission and distribution, oil and gas, MSHA compliance for mining, a premium Health, Safety & Environment library, and a multilingual HSE foreign language library.

Public safety. Libraries for firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, water and wastewater, professional security and 911 emergency communications. The EMS line delivers "CAPCE-approved EMS continuing education" and tracks recertification and licenses. The law enforcement line offers "certified, scenario-based online training," and a course catalog is titled "POST-Approved Training Nationally Certified by IADLEST."

Architecture, engineering and construction. Online continuing education to "Keep AEC staff licensed in all 50 states for 100+ certifications," described as "accredited CE aligned to industry and regulatory requirements," plus construction and trades training aligned to "building standards, electrical codes, and core trade skills" and OSHA-aligned safety training. A blog item introduces a course series on the 2023 NEC.

Facilities and casinos. A commercial facilities maintenance library, and for casinos, "expert-developed AML courses" covering Title 31 and anti-money laundering compliance alongside casino-specific employee training.

Course catalogs for most sectors can be downloaded from the site, and the menu includes learning path templates for 8 industrial maintenance and operations roles, 9 construction roles, and architects, designers and engineers.

Vector LMS and training management

Vector LMS is the delivery side. The site describes it as a way to "Assign, track, and report role-based skills and compliance training for the entire workforce." Its feature list names Competency Assessments, Learning Paths, Direct Links, and two newer items, Content Configuration and Learning Studio. The casino version says it can "Deliver, track, and report training for every role while automating reminders and supervisor notifications," and the AEC version promises to "Automate training delivery and reporting to reduce admin time."

Public safety agencies get training management systems built for them. The fire version tracks "all training, EMS recerts, skill evaluations, ISO, and more," and adds live skills evaluations by mobile app and state certification records. Law enforcement gets in-service and field training officer management, and government buyers can choose federal, military and local government training management, fire marshal and POST training and compliance, and academy automation for fire and police academies. A 911 communications line adds training management, APCO/NENA quality assurance forms and daily observation reports for new hires.

Safety, scheduling and performance

Beyond training, Vector EHS handles incident management, inspections and audits, real-time safety metrics, behavior-based safety, hazard reporting, job safety analysis and SDS and chemical management, with "AI Safety Training Recommendations" listed as new. The site says its EHS workflows are "proven to cut risk by up to 30%." Vector Scheduling covers crew shift scheduling with mobile callbacks, and Vector Check It covers truck checks, equipment and controlled substance inventory. Law enforcement tools add policy management, wellness and early intervention, BWC audits with pre-loaded BWC and MVR evaluation forms, and accreditation management. For casinos, the menu adds the ArdentSky Compliance Suite. A separate AI Product Features page collects the AI-enabled features that, in the company's words, "help teams save time, reduce risk, and work more efficiently."

Proof, pricing and support

Customer stories on the site include Vulcan, which it says transformed its training program "Across 220+ Locations"; a facilities management firm that "Reduces Costs by $1Million+"; Millstream Career Center, which "Increases Student WBL Hours by 57%"; and agencies such as Southern Marin Fire, Odessa PD and Tri-Com Central. The site publishes no prices; buyers request a demo or speak to an expert. Customers log in to Vector LMS and reach a support site, and the resource center carries webinars, white papers, buyer's guides and brochures.

Who it suits

Vector Solutions suits organizations whose training is driven by regulation and safety and that want the course library, the LMS and the operational software from one vendor. A manufacturer with many plants gets industrial skills and safety courses plus EHS incident tracking. A fire or EMS agency gets CAPCE-approved continuing education, recertification tracking, shift scheduling and truck checks. An engineering firm gets accredited CE for licensed staff across states. A school district gets staff compliance training and student wellness courses.

It suits less well a company outside these sectors looking for general business skills content, since the libraries are built around specific industries, or a buyer who wants self-serve pricing, since every purchase starts with a demo.
