Real Projects

Real Projects is an off-the-shelf elearning content library for L&D teams. It sells a ready-made catalog of short workplace courses, delivered as SCORM files that a company uploads into its own learning management system or learning experience platform, rather than a platform learners log into directly. The homepage headline is "Over 800 elearning courses, simple pricing, no fuss contracts", and the pitch is that an organization can fill its LMS with practical training on cyber security, AI, remote working, conflict and productivity without commissioning each course. The company also builds custom elearning and offers Articulate Storyline and Rise 360 development. Its founder, Scott Hewitt, writes on the site that the company has been "creating award-winning courses for over 15 years".
What is in the library
The homepage describes "Over 800 courses across compliance, leadership, cyber security, digital skills and more", and says every course "is built around challenges your teams actually face, not generic tick-box content". The FAQ widens that list to AI, cyber security, retail, hotels, frontline workers, finance and leadership. Five topic groups are shown with sample titles:
- Cyber Security: AI-Generated Phishing Emails, Password & Account Security, Social Engineering & Manipulation, and Human Firewall: Your Role in Cyber Security.
- Remote Working: Solving Communication Problems, Finding the Right Tech for You, Staying Productive, and De-escalating Team Conflict.
- Artificial Intelligence: Introduction to Machine Learning and AI, AI Agents: What They Are and How to Use Them, How to Prompt AI Tools Effectively, and Leading AI Change in Your Organisation.
- Workplace Conflict Resolution: What is Workplace Conflict?, Managing Workplace Conflict, Understanding Conflict Behaviour, and De-escalating Workplace Conflict.
- Time Management: Calendar Tips, How to Work More Efficiently, Time Blocking and Time Batching, and How to Prioritise Tasks.
An article on the site adds information security, teamwork, management, productivity and wellness at work, and the homepage mentions hybrid working, customer service and wellbeing. The courses are short. The same article says they "range from quick 3-minute courses that teach an important skill to longer 15 and 20 minute courses that look in-depth at a subject", and that they include "animations, interactive exercises, voice-over narrations, and quizzes". The FAQ says the courses are designed for all employees, "from beginners to advanced professionals".
The library grows steadily. The FAQ says new content is added each month and customers get the latest courses each month, and that customers can get involved in the content roadmap by saying what they need. The homepage claims "500 Courses Built in Four Months", which is the clearest sign of how quickly the catalog has been assembled.
How it gets into your LMS
This is a content product, so delivery is the important part. The company's article on off-the-shelf courses says a good supplier provides "the SCORM files, thumbnails and the metadata that you can upload right into your platform", and the homepage summary calls the library "SCORM-ready". The FAQ states that all courses "are designed to be fully compatible with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP)", and offers to "send over a file for you to test" before buying. The homepage promises "No tech headaches, no lengthy onboarding", with teams having access the same day once the courses are plugged in, and for organizations without an LMS it says "We'll help you get started".
The founder's articles put weight on metadata. He argues that a library needs "metadata about learning objectives, titles, and categories, so you can map it against your own data in a way that's consistent", and that buying a library without a plan for mapping and promotion leads to unused content. That advice is a fair description of how Real Projects expects its own library to be used: a training team picks the courses relevant to each group, maps them to roles and objectives in its own system, and promotes them internally. Assignment, tracking and reporting happen in the customer's LMS.
Languages
The homepage says "SCORM-ready, 9 languages" and "Nine language versions", while a later section on the same page says the library is "Available in six languages". The off-the-shelf article names English, Spanish, Italian, German, French and Portuguese, and says "many of our courses" are available in those languages, so not every title comes in every language. The article also says Real Projects localizes content, including audio and captions, rather than "just running it through a translation tool".
Pricing and contracts
Real Projects sells the library for "one annual fee for unlimited access", and the homepage frames that as a return on investment question: "the more your people learn, the better your return". It stresses "No Long-Term Contracts. No Hidden Fees." and "no lock-in". The fee itself is not printed. To get a price, a company gets in touch, and the company says it will "come back with examples and pricing within 24 hours", with a demo and a course list available on request.
Custom courses and development
Alongside the library, Real Projects builds bespoke elearning. The FAQ says custom work starts with the client's objectives, after which a team of writers, designers and experts creates a script, then designs and develops the content. The company says it has designed projects for Marks & Spencer, AstraZeneca, 3M and Roche. The site's menu also lists Articulate Storyline development and Articulate Rise 360 developers as services. For a company whose own policies and procedures need training, the founder's article is direct that "a bespoke course is better", with the library covering the general skills around it.
Who uses it
The library is described as "trusted by teams at M&S, GSK and AstraZeneca", and the founder's profile names Ticketmaster and easyJet among the organizations that trust it. The site has no published case studies with figures.
Who Real Projects suits
Real Projects suits an L&D team that already runs an LMS or LXP and wants a large stock of short, practical courses on current workplace topics (phishing and passwords, AI tools, remote working, conflict, time management) without paying per course or per seat. The single annual fee for unlimited access makes it attractive for a company with many employees who each use a handful of courses, and the multilingual versions help where teams work in Spanish, Italian, German, French or Portuguese as well as English.
It suits less well an organization with no LMS and no wish to run one, since the product is SCORM content rather than a hosted platform, although the company offers help getting started. Teams needing long formal programs or deep technical training should note that the library's strength is short skill courses. Buyers who want to compare costs on the website will have to ask, because the annual fee is quoted on request.
