What It Is

Lepaya is a blended training company for employers: it combines a portfolio of power skills modules with live trainer-led sessions, a mobile learning app and an HR portal. Its own FAQ sets it apart from a learning system: "Lepaya is more than just a Learning Management System (LMS) or Learning Experience Platform (LXP)... Lepaya is a blended training platform designed to drive real-world impact." The company's footer gives its address as Stephensonstraat 19 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and the site says it is "Trusted by 500+ organizations in 120+ countries."

The reader is an HR or L&D team that needs soft skills, leadership and sales training delivered at scale, with evidence that people use what they learned. Lepaya is not a self-serve catalog for individuals, and it is not a tool for building your own courses.

The Training Portfolio

According to the FAQ, Lepaya trains "Power Skills": "leadership, communication, collaboration, resilience, commercial skills, and more", contextualized by job function and career level. The Why Lepaya page counts "70+ training modules for starters, professionals, leaders and sales." The modules are grouped into four academies:

  • Young Talent Academy for people with 0–3 years of work experience. Popular programs include Personal effectiveness, Communicate effectively in person, and Communicate effectively on slides.
  • Professional Academy for early professionals, experts and aspiring leaders, with programs such as Accelerate your growth, Solve problems with data, and Adapt, perform & recharge.
  • Leader Academy for leaders of individuals, teams and organizations, with Managing others, Getting tasks done, and Understanding yourself as a leader.
  • Commercial Academy for business developers, account managers and commercial leaders, with tracks such as Pipeline management, Connecting with potential clients, and Uncover your client's situation.

AI is a growing part of the offer. The academies page lists a new AI Leadership Training Program to help managers "turn AI ambition into real business impact", and the news section on the About page reports a Data & AI Academy launched in June 2026 and a program called "Taking the lead with AI" launched in March 2026.

Learn, Practice, Apply

Every program follows the same three-step method, which the site calls Learn-Practice-Apply:

  • Learn (online): articles, videos, quizzes and AI coaching in the app, plus intention setting and case preparation. The site says about 75% of this self-paced learning gets completed.
  • Practice (live): "3 hours face to face or virtual", with role plays using training actors, real cases and personal goal-setting.
  • Apply (on the job): personalized nudges, AI role-plays and peer coaching after the session.

The live part is delivered by Lepaya's own network. The Why Lepaya page says it has "400+ trainers and actors, delivering in 25+ languages." The enterprise page adds that programs keep a consistent quality while "adapting to local needs, languages, and business realities." One customer quote sums up the approach: "The Lepaya learning experience isn't just 'train for 3 or 4 hours, go back to your workplace, and do whatever you've always done.'"

The Lepaya App

The app is the digital half of the blend, described as "a mobile-first learning platform designed to help employees learn, practice, and apply skills in the flow of work." Its features, as listed on the app page:

  • 360° skill assessment: a Track Recommender evaluates current skill levels, invites the team for feedback and returns a personalized growth track.
  • Goal setting: learners define a "Moment of Truth" where a skill applies at work and build an Action Plan.
  • Digital content: bite-sized modules of 15–20 minutes in video, article and quiz formats.
  • AI coach and role-plays: an AI avatar simulates workplace conversations, with voice interaction and feedback on tone, structure and clarity.
  • Peer support: each learner is matched with a buddy from the start.
  • Nudges: app notifications and email reminders timed around learning moments; the FAQ cites a 38% increase in engagement when nudges are on.

The app is pitched at both deskless and office-based teams, on any device.

The Lepaya Portal

For HR and L&D, the Lepaya Portal is "Your central hub for managing and optimizing learning, tracking impact, and aligning upskilling with business objectives." The FAQ says teams can "track participation, progress, and skill development, measure business impact, and adjust learning strategies accordingly." The site's four-step process runs from translating business goals into a program, through planning the rollout and tracking attendance, ratings and engagement, to measuring skills application. The solutions menu also lists an impact dashboard and a skills gap analysis tool.

On integrations, the pages offer one concrete example: an HR business partner at Fellowmind says Lepaya "is also a tech partner with a Microsoft Teams integration." The enterprise page offers "advanced integrations" as part of customized enterprise packages.

Pricing, Quality and Results

Lepaya does not print prices, but it does state the model. The enterprise page says: "Per-learner pricing that scales. Only pay for active users, ensuring cost-efficiency for large and dynamic workforces." Programs are modular, so modules and academies can be added over time, and larger customers can get customized packages with global rollout support or tailored content. Buyers start by booking a meeting.

On quality marks, the footer states "ISO27001 & NRTO certified", and the About page explains that as an NRTO member Lepaya meets the code of conduct of the Dutch Council for Training and Education, tested by an external certifying institution. The French version of the site also says Lepaya is Qualiopi certified for training actions.

The company publishes its own impact figures: more than 60% of learners apply their skills within two weeks, a skills apply rate above 85%, a 50% increase in training attendance, 97% roll-out success from planning to reporting, a 96% training experience rating and a 94% trainer rating. Learner counts are given as 26,595 in 2024 and 27,746 in 2025. Customer stories include Picnic, where 300+ managers were trained, Hunkemöller with 173 learners, and Fagus, where the commercial director reports a 70% increase in sales offers after training.

Who It Suits

Lepaya suits mid-size and large employers that want soft skills, leadership and sales training run for them across countries and languages, with live practice and data to show HR what changed. The academy structure works well for a company building a development path from graduate hire to senior leader, and per-active-learner pricing suits workforces that change size.

It suits a small team with a one-off training need less well, and it is not designed for organizations that want to author their own courses or buy a plain video library: the live, three-hour practice session is at the center of every program.
