What It Is
Kineo Courses is an off-the-shelf eLearning library for Australian employers, sold with its own cloud-based learning management system, Learnforce. The reader is an HR, compliance or L&D lead who needs staff trained on workplace obligations and skills without building the courses from scratch. The home page sums up the offer: "With hundreds of courses to choose from, save time, upskill your staff online and ensure compliance with help from subject matter experts at Kineo."
The content is written for Australian workplaces. The site promotes a course suite for "Australia's Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards effective November 1, 2025", a course on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness for Australian workplaces, and work health and safety duties for managers and workers. Testimonials come from healthcare workers in South Australia and New South Wales, and the case studies are mostly Australian organizations.
The Course Library
The library is split into eight categories: Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG); Ethics and Conduct; Health and Safety; Health and Wellbeing; Health, Disability and Aged Care; Leadership and Management; Personal Development; and Sales and Customer Service. Featured titles give a sense of the range:
- Compliance and conduct: Anti Money Laundering, which covers identifying, preventing and reporting money laundering and terrorism financing; Health and Safety Duties for Managers and Supervisors; Health and Safety Duties for Workers; Essential Infection Prevention and Control for Your Workplace.
- Aged care: Pain Recognition and Response in Aged Care for Personal Care Workers and Support Workers, and Introduction to Nutrition and Hydration for Older People.
- Inclusion: Promoting Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Work, Building an Age Inclusive Workplace Culture, and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness course, which covers unconscious bias, microaggressions and practical support for reconciliation.
- Leadership and personal effectiveness: Leading With Integrity, Chairing Effective Meetings, Taking Effective Meeting Notes, Avoiding Workplace Burnout (built around a three-step framework for raising workload), and Checking in, on supportive conversations with colleagues under pressure.
- ESG: Introduction to Stakeholder Management, Introduction to Social Impact and Introduction to Valuing Your People. The site calls this an "industry-leading ESG training suite".
The personal development category runs to many short software and productivity lessons as well, with titles such as Absolute vs Relative Cell Referencing in Excel, Ask Questions with Copilot and Basic Written Communication for the Workplace, spread across 13 pages of listings. The health and wellbeing category includes Managing Psychological Conditions in the Workplace and Working from home, and its page names topics such as diabetes management, healthy blood pressure, healthy eating, heart health and physical activity.
How the Courses Are Built
Kineo says its courses "are developed in collaboration with subject matter experts", and the home page names partners including Allianz, Chubb, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, WSP, Thomson Geer, TENA and AML360. The off-the-shelf content is described as using "premium videography, animations and visual design", with "activities and assessments designed to interrogate what's important", and "written and rewritten for clarity and learning impact". Courses are mobile responsive; the site says its responsive learning technology adjusts to desktop, tablet or mobile, so staff can learn on any internet-enabled device.
Two features stand out. The first is Adaptics, a pre-assessment technology that, in the site's words, "gives you credit for existing knowledge and streamlines learning to focus on gaps." A learner who already knows part of a topic only works through the new material. The second is accessibility: "At Kineo, we develop content to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance requirements."
Kineo also offers a tailored version of the library. Its custom-fit service is pitched to organizations that want "to add a flavour of your organisation and make training courses more relatable to your workforce."
Learnforce and LMS Delivery
For the lms-business reader, Kineo's answer is Learnforce. The home page calls it a "cloud-based LMS that's designed for simplicity and speed" and says teams can "Get started in hours", with a system that streamlines course delivery, improves reporting and connects with the tools a company already uses for learning. Under the heading "Agnostic Delivery" the site sets out the choice: a customer can use Learnforce, "a fast and effective solution with deep analytical reporting that can be implemented within hours, as part of your Kineo Courses subscription, or via your preferred LMS." So the subscription includes the LMS, and a company that already runs a learning system can deliver the courses there instead.
One case study shows Learnforce at a larger scale: an award-winning implementation for the Australian Sports Commission that gives each national sporting organization its own learning center while syndicating a shared content library.
Quality, Compliance and Evidence
The library's main promise is currency: "The learning library is always up to date with the latest legislation. We help you meet your business and learner compliance obligations head-on." The site states that Kineo is "certified for both ISO 9001:2015 Quality and ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems" and that it "has been ISO Certified for over 13 years." The home page also reports that "So far 125,313 learners rate our courses 4.54/5 in 2022."
Case studies name Cerebral Palsy Alliance, a registered training organization in the disability sector; Workskil Australia, a not-for-profit employment service; BaptistCare, which the page says employs over 3500 staff and 1000 volunteers across 160 facilities and programs in NSW and ACT; Bridgestone; and Momentum Consulting, an ASQA-registered training organization that used an infection prevention course to reach small businesses. Learner testimonials praise courses such as Bullying and Harassment for Employees, Assist Clients with Medication and Basic Life Support.
Pricing and Trial
The site has a pricing page and a store, but no prices appear on the pages read here. The home page invites buyers to "Take a free trial" and says: "Trial our premium quality courses free! Experience first-hand how easy and efficient our workplace learning is." Learnforce is included in the Kineo Courses subscription.
Who It Suits
Kineo Courses suits Australian employers that need compliance training kept in step with local legislation: aged care and disability providers, healthcare organizations, and any business with work health and safety, anti-money laundering or conduct obligations. A small or mid-size organization without an LMS gets one in the same subscription, set up in hours; a larger one can keep its existing system and use the library alone. The Adaptics pre-assessment helps where experienced staff repeat mandatory training every year.
It suits organizations outside Australia less well, since much of the compliance content is built around Australian standards. Teams that need deep custom course development would use the custom-fit service rather than the standard library.
