i GET IT
Tap a star to rate
i GET IT is an online training library for engineers, run by Tata Technologies, covering mechanical CAD software, product lifecycle management (PLM), electric vehicle engineering and supporting skills such as GD&T. It sells in two ways: as self-paced subscriptions for individual engineers and students, and as an enterprise learning platform that companies use to train design and manufacturing teams. The about page describes it as an online learning platform that also lets an organization "customize and publish your own training content to share knowledge within your organization." The home page claims "2000+" courses, "20+" domain topics and "8+" job roles.
So the entry has two readers: an engineer choosing where to learn Siemens NX, CATIA or EV battery design, and an L&D team at a manufacturer that wants a technical catalog plus an LMS to run it.
What a learner gets
The home page says the library covers "all major MCAD/PLM applications and supporting industry skills under one roof." The subscriptions are sold by software family and topic. On the MCAD side the plans page lists Dassault Systèmes products (3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5 and SOLIDWORKS), Siemens NX PLM, PTC Creo and Wildfire, Autodesk, and NPD with PTC Creo and Windchill, plus domain subscriptions for GD&T, Plastics and Molding and ISO GPS. The EV line includes EV Essentials, Energy Storage System Fundamentals, Thermal Management System, Battery Pack Design, BMS (Battery Management System), High Voltage Systems, and EV Design and Development with Siemens NX. The home page adds domain topics such as FEA, automotive design and project management.
Bundles combine these. The site lists an MCAD Professional Bundle, an EV Professional Bundle, an MCAD+EV Professional Bundle marked "Best Buy", All-in-One bundles, and two EV certification programs (High Voltage, Thermal and Battery; and Advanced Battery). The plans page says the MCAD library alone comprises "20+ MCAD application course" titles, with lessons "crafted by Industry experts from Tata Technologies who work with Global OEMs."
The plans page lists what a subscription includes: video and text lessons, downloadable practice files, quizzes and assessments, practice projects and exercises, tech tips, pre-made learning paths, live session recordings and certificates. The home page suggests courses by job role, among them product design engineer, CAE analyst, automotive and aerospace design engineer, manufacturing engineer, PLM expert and EV engineer. Recent platform additions named on the home page include a roles, skills and competency framework for personalized paths, Q&A between learners and trainers, a discussion forum, and content aggregation from YouTube links and LinkedIn Learning, with collaborative learning through Microsoft Teams.
The plans FAQ answers practical questions. New courses are released and updated "nearly every week" and stay included while the subscription is active. Software licenses are not included, so learners need the design tool installed for the projects. All courses are self-paced, and questions are handled through monthly webinars or the help section in the app. There is a mobile app, and an app-only discount offer.
Certificates
Learners earn course and assessment certificates. The home page describes its EngAge program as offering "globally recognized certifications", which is the company's own claim; the site does not name a body that recognizes them.
Trial and pricing
The plans FAQ offers "a 3-day free trial for our courses." Prices are not printed on the pages read here. Students, groups and institutions are directed to an "Avail Best Offers" form for discounts and a personalized quote, and the FAQ says installment and EMI payment is available "in certain regions."
What an organization gets
The enterprise page pitches "customizable learning paths, insights-driven LMS, and a vast library of industry-relevant courses in MCAD, PLM & EV." A feature comparison across Enterprise, Professional, Student and Academia tiers lists, among others: course and assessment certificates, shareable transcripts, an actionable dashboard with learner insights, the ability to create and customize your own training content, learning management tools for teams, skills gap reporting, role-based learning paths, LMS platform as a service, single sign-on (SSO), AICC/SCORM integration, course-specific forums, chat and agent support, gamification and leaderboards, a peer recommendation engine, Microsoft Teams instructor-led training, and mentorship and workshops. Employees at a company with SSO set up sign in through their company's own login page.
The page maps common problems to features: switching CAD systems, onboarding new employees, adopting PLM, closing skills gaps, managing custom training, tracking outcomes, training partners and suppliers, and handling hybrid learning. Companies can "Upload, organize, and deliver custom courses alongside our industry-leading training catalog", keeping their own workflows and standards in the same system. Training request management is described as blending online and offline learning.
The enquiry form asks for the number of licenses in bands from 1-19 up to 200+, and the page says experts reply "within 24 hours." Enterprise pricing is by quote.
Track record and terms
Ownership. The footer reads "© 2026 Tata Technologies", and the enterprise page says Tata Technologies has "over 25 years of experience in engineering and product development."
Outcome claims. The home page states "88%" of learners report career benefits, and lists further benefit figures such as "50%" faster career and salary growth. These are the company's marketing figures, with no survey method given.
Customer quotes. On the enterprise page, Gary Moro of Moro Computer Integrated Manufacture says i GET IT "has been a dependable CAD training resource for nearly 20 years", Wade Page of Autoliv says it helps his teams stay current with CAD software while enabling custom in-house training, and Nick Lee of G3 Aerospace praises its CATIA V5 training. Learner testimonials on the home page come from engineers at Mercedes Benz, HCL Technologies, The Boeing Company and Ather Energy; Sohail Baig of Mercedes Benz writes that the Siemens PLM package included "Siemens NX with CAD modules as well as Teamcenter PLM modules."
Other programs. The site runs a Campus Program, an Author Program for people who want to create courses, and a Reseller Program.
Who it suits
i GET IT suits a design or manufacturing engineer who wants structured, project-based training on a specific tool such as Siemens NX, CATIA or Creo, or who is moving into EV engineering, and an engineering employer that wants a technical catalog with an LMS, SSO and SCORM support. The weekly content updates and the ability to add in-house courses make it a long-term training home for engineering teams.
It is a specialist library. Organizations looking for leadership, soft skills or general compliance content will find little here, and individual learners need their own software licenses and must go through an offer form to learn the price.
