Docentix.com
Tap a star to rate
Docentix.com is a Romanian e-learning service that sells a library of Skillsoft courses translated into Romanian, together with its own learning management system, Docentix LMS. It serves two audiences: individuals who subscribe to the course catalog, and companies that buy the LMS with course packages to train their staff. The homepage tagline describes "Cursuri online de soft/tech skills cu diplomă și platformă LMS pentru tine și echipa ta" (online soft and tech skills courses with a diploma, and an LMS platform for you and your team). The site is in Romanian, and the company behind it appears in the footer as The e-Learning Company, with a registered office in Bucuresti.
The FAQ explains the origin of the catalog: since 2007, Docentix has offered the Skillsoft partnership in Romania, and tens of thousands of learners have used the e-learning solutions it created or distributed in that time. The homepage says the company has pursued its mission for more than 20 years and that many large Romanian companies had their first e-learning experience with it.
The course catalog
The FAQ states plainly that "Cursurile online de pe Docentix.com sunt cursuri Skillsoft traduse în limba română" (the online courses on Docentix.com are Skillsoft courses translated into Romanian). Skillsoft develops the content with subject experts and, according to the FAQ, keeps it updated.
The size is given in a few ways across the site. The homepage says the company has "peste 700 de motive" (more than 700 reasons) to get to know it, the LMS page shows a catalog of 700+ courses, the FAQ footer promises more than 700 courses with more than 2500 video lessons, and the courses page reports 750 courses found. Another FAQ answer describes a Skillsoft package of more than 600 courses. The courses page counts 120 courses in personal and professional development and 103 in management and leadership.
Topics range widely. The homepage menu lists essential communication skills, emotional intelligence, business skills, building relationships at work, work-life balance, decision-making and problem solving, time management and productivity, corporate social responsibility, leading employee performance, leadership, managing technical teams, marketing, project management, customer service, and a digital transformation block covering agility, digital soft skills, infrastructure and architecture, digital transformation strategy, digital experience design, leading virtual teams and digital marketing and communication. There are also sales and negotiation courses. Microsoft Office training runs from Excel to OneNote, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint, Visio, Word, Project and Stream, and project management goes from PRINCE2 and Agile project management to essential project management skills. A planning and budgeting category covers organizational budgeting, operating and cash budgets, and budgets for management control, and data courses include data analysis for executives and for managers.
Each course page lists its learning objectives. Customer testimonials on the homepage describe the format as short video courses of 3-5 minutes with rich visuals, audio and video material, and final assessment tests, with reports on employee participation. Learners can filter the catalog by subject, course type and difficulty, and can see their history and current activity. For those unsure where to start, Docentix has built themed programs, which the FAQ compares to a playlist, covering situations from adapting to a first job to building a career.
On credentials, the FAQ is candid. Asked whether the courses are accredited, it says they are high quality but "în prezent ele nu sunt acreditate de Minister" (at present they are not accredited by the Ministry). The homepage promises a diploma, which a learner should read as a completion document, not an accredited qualification.
Subscriptions for individuals
For individuals, the FAQ says subscribing works the same way as on any video streaming platform: choose a monthly or annual subscription, enter card details and get instant access to the catalog. Payment is online and recurs monthly or yearly depending on the plan. To cancel, a subscriber contacts Docentix by email or through the contact form, and must do so before the next payment because the subscription renews automatically. The terms cover privacy, platform rules, a refund policy and personal data processing. The FAQ does not state the subscription prices.
Every visitor can try the service free for 7 days. The FAQ describes it as a free 7-day account created with an email address.
Docentix LMS for companies
For companies, Docentix sells Docentix LMS alongside the course library. The LMS page promises "o soluție completă și personalizată" (a complete and personalized solution), and the FAQ lists what the platform does: course management tools for creating, editing and storing files, tracking of learner progress in real time, reports and statistics, support for multiple course formats such as video and text, individual configuration of the interface and custom reports. The LMS page adds that it works on mobile devices for staff who are always on the move and is fully customizable. The FAQ says the integrated Skillsoft package includes video content, tests and interactive simulations, available in several languages and categories, and that each learner can work at their own pace.
Three company packages are shown on the LMS page: Docentix LMS, Docentix Business (marked "Optim") and Docentix Complet. Each lists the same inclusions: access to Docentix courses, custom packages by category, immediate access to new courses, support whenever needed, the company's own LMS platform, LMS technical assistance and support, professional e-learning advice, and dedicated learning plans. The FAQ says the cost depends on the chosen package and the number of users, and that larger companies should leave their details in the contact form so the team can get in touch. A 7-day free trial of the LMS gives access to a selection of Skillsoft courses so a company can test administration and content delivery before paying.
Support is available through the contact form, email and phone, and the FAQ describes a team of experts offering support, consulting and technical assistance for implementation and use.
What customers say
The homepage carries testimonials from Romanian organizations including Arabesque, BCR, Credit Europe Bank, Secom Romania, TeraPlast and UAT Borșa. In one, BCR says the courses and platform delivered by the partnership helped its strategy "sa devenim o organizatie a invatarii" (to become a learning organization). Others praise the speed of the support team, the custom reports and the variety of courses, and one notes that colleagues "acceseaza in ritmul propriu modulele" (access the modules at their own pace).
Who it suits
Docentix suits Romanian companies that want a ready-made soft-skills, management, Office and digital transformation library in Romanian, delivered through an LMS they can brand and track. HR teams get learning plans, progress reports and a local support team. Individual professionals in Romania can subscribe monthly or annually for the same catalog after a free week.
It is not the right choice for anyone who needs Ministry-accredited courses, which the FAQ says these are not. Its catalog pages and course descriptions are in Romanian, so it is built for Romanian-speaking teams. Companies should expect a quote rather than a price list.
