Disrupt Learning and Education
Tap a star to rate
Disrupt Learning and Education is a UK eLearning company that combines three things an L&D team usually buys from different suppliers: a library of ready-made courses, a white label learning management system with built-in authoring, and bespoke course design. Its homepage sums up the offer as "bespoke eLearning design and authoring, an extensive off-the-shelf content library, and a powerful LMS with authoring capability." Alongside the eLearning, it runs live trainer-led online courses and qualifications. The company describes its products as "designed to be simpler and more affordable" than traditional training methods.
The distinctive part of the offer is that the off-the-shelf courses are editable. Disrupt says every course in its catalog can be edited, adapted and made the customer's own. Its own guide to off-the-shelf eLearning describes Disrupt as providing "an extensive library of courseware that is fully editable", calling it a "bespoke off-the-shelf option."
The off-the-shelf library
The off-the-shelf page offers a choice of over 1000 professionally written off-the-shelf eLearning courses, all fully customizable and available to edit, adapt and make your own. The courses come in two catalogs, which can be downloaded from the site: a personal and organizational development library and an IT and technical library.
The personal and organizational development side covers leadership and management, human resources, workplace essentials, sales and marketing, train the trainer, career development, business essentials, entrepreneurial training and digital marketing. The IT and technical side is grouped under Adobe Essentials and Microsoft and 365 Essentials. The page describes it as a complete IT library running "from Adobe CC, through to 365 basics and expert", with every course editable and completely white label.
Customization goes further than branding. The page says customers can add company-specific information, change the language, or modify course content and assessments, and that Disrupt's team can make sure a new library delivers brand consistency. The courses are written by instructional designers and subject matter experts, according to the page, and are meant to help organizations meet compliance with industry standards and regulations. A content demo or an eLearning demo can be booked from the page.
For an L&D team, this changes the usual trade-off. A generic compliance or soft-skills course can be adapted to use the company's own terms, policies and examples, and then sit in the library alongside courses that were never touched.
White label LMS with authoring
The second product is a learning management system offered as a white label solution. The homepage describes it as an LMS equipped with authoring capabilities "to create and deliver custom eLearning content." That means a customer can host the library under its own brand and build new courses inside the same system, without a separate authoring tool. The site also lists an ILT Platform for instructor-led training, an eLearning login and a User Support Portal among its links.
Bespoke eLearning design
Disrupt also builds courses to order. The homepage says its bespoke eLearning design is used by "some of the UK's biggest brands" as well as SMEs throughout the UK and globally, and that courses are designed by a team of instructional designers, multimedia developers and content creators. The pitch is immersive, engaging design meant to make training more effective and enjoyable, with greater knowledge retention. The solutions menu also lists Articulate Storyline courses, online induction design, and gamification and interactions as services.
Live courses and other programs
The homepage invites learners to "Choose from hundreds of technical qualifications" and to learn and get qualified online with real instructors, with the line "Get accredited qualifications and improve your skills with our online instructors-led training". The awarding bodies are not named on the homepage. The off-the-shelf page adds an extensive range of live instructor-led IT and technical qualification courses alongside the IT courseware.
The solutions menu names several specialist programs: live facilitated online courses, AI training for employers, psychological safety and wellbeing, phishing simulation training, and EdPoint, described as training for MSPs. There is also a reseller program for organizations that want to sell Disrupt's products. Online induction design is listed separately, which fits teams that want a new-starter program built and hosted in one place.
Customers and track record
The homepage presents three customer stories. Care As You Are, a social care organization, used Disrupt's eLearning to improve training outcomes and compliance. Bupa Dental used bespoke eLearning to improve employee engagement and standardize its COVID-19 training. The Lawn Tennis Association commissioned eLearning design to improve compliance education for elite players. The case study index groups the work under care, sport, health, education and cyber security. The site says the company is "100% 5-star rated on Google". The legal entity is Disrupt Learning and Education Ltd, company number 10327763, and the footer links to DEI, privacy and environmental policies.
How Disrupt frames off-the-shelf training
The company's long guide to off-the-shelf eLearning explains how it thinks buyers should use a library like its own. It recommends a "hybrid content strategy": use off-the-shelf modules for fundamentals that do not change between companies, such as cyber awareness, time management and workplace safety, and spend the custom budget on content that holds real competitive value, such as internal sales methods or proprietary software. Disrupt's mix of an editable library, an authoring LMS and bespoke design is built around exactly that approach.
The guide also gives buyers a checklist: test a sample SCORM package in a staging LMS before signing, check that courses work on mobile and that voiceover sounds natural, and ask how often content is updated and whether updates are included in the license. These are useful questions to put to any library vendor, Disrupt included.
Pricing
The site publishes no prices; customers book a demo or a consultation to get a quote.
Who it suits
Disrupt suits UK organizations that want ready-made courses but need them to reflect their own policies, language or brand. An HR or L&D team can edit leadership, HR or workplace courses instead of commissioning new ones. Companies that need Microsoft 365 or Adobe skills training get an IT library that can be white-labeled. Organizations without an LMS can take the white label platform and author their own courses in it, and those with a specific need can commission bespoke work from the same team. Learners after a recognized technical qualification can use the live instructor-led route.
Buyers who want a large global catalog with no editing work involved may find a fixed library simpler to manage. And because nothing is priced on the site, any comparison starts with a demo.
