CAE

CAE (Computer Aided Elearning) is a B2B e-learning developer that sells ready-made course catalogs, language courses, AI-generated training plans and its own LMS to companies, schools and training providers. Its site says it has developed e-learning since 1981, reports 45+ years of experience, 8500+ courses and 10+ million students trained, and says companies and educational centers in more than 50 countries use its products. It describes itself as an international provider with headquarters in the USA, LATAM and Europe, and its FAQ names an international presence in Spain, Latin America and the U.S.

The company calls itself an "EdTech Developer" and solution provider. That matters for how a buyer approaches it: CAE is not one platform with one subscription, but a family of products that can be bought separately or combined. An L&D team can license course content to run inside the LMS it already has, a language school can take a complete language platform, and a university or training center can run its own courses on CAE's LMS. The site's FAQ lists the intended customers as large corporations, universities, high schools, training centers, language schools, consulting firms and distributors of educational solutions, including book distributors and LMS distributors.

LearningHub CAE, the course catalog

LearningHub CAE is the off-the-shelf library. The site describes it as course catalogs for training programs aimed at large companies and distributors, across a wide range of sectors. The subjects it names are IT, office automation, programming, education, marketing and customer service, and the list ends with an ellipsis, so these are examples rather than the whole range. The FAQ calls it a multi-sector catalog in various professional fields.

The catalog is built to be delivered into another system. The homepage says "SCORM/LTI for your LMS", and the FAQ answers the integration question directly: "CAE content can be delivered using standards such as SCORM and LTI for integration into compatible LMS platforms." For a company that already runs an LMS and wants to fill it with ready-made material, that is the main point of the product.

The FAQ also says every online course includes "virtual AI tutors who answer students' questions in real time", along with AI modules for role-plays, speaking and writing assignments, conversation classes and masterclasses. The site's feature list adds gamification, microlearning, mobile learning, online student communities and language labs as areas it covers.

Imagine, AI training plans

Imagine is the planning layer that sits above the catalogs. According to the homepage, it "connects each person's skills with the most relevant learning opportunities" and automatically generates personalized learning paths that draw on all content, naming in-house courses, CAE, LearningHub and Dexway. The FAQ adds two details a buyer will care about. First, the paths can include the organization's own courses alongside CAE material. Second, any course a plan needs that does not yet exist is created on demand. The FAQ says Imagine "generates training plans in just a few seconds, powered by AI", and that it uses AI to identify training needs before building each path.

For an L&D team, the pitch is that a skills profile goes in and an individual training plan comes out, with the content already in place. The site's recent blog posts on skills gap detection and personalized pathways sit around the same idea.

Dexway, language courses and exams

Dexway is CAE's language product, and the reason the listing also sits under language learning. The homepage describes it as a turnkey or SCORM/LTI solution for language training, with content for blended, online, lab and in-person classroom courses. Courses run in 8 languages, at levels A1 to C1 aligned with the CEFR, and are powered by artificial intelligence. The FAQ says Dexway serves educational institutions, language schools, distributors and large companies, and a blog post on the site describes the Dexway LMS as a language platform created solely for developing language skills.

The second half of Dexway is assessment. The site lists AI-powered placement tests, by level or progressive, and international certification exams named DIECE. The cae.net version of the page says the certification exams are available only for authorized centers. Both are described as "flexible, fast, and effective systems", run 100% online or blended, with online proctoring. A language school that wants to place students on arrival and certify them at the end can do both inside one product.

Voluxion Pro, the LMS

Voluxion Pro is CAE's own learning platform, sold to schools, academies and training providers that want to run their own courses. Its product page describes a cloud-based educational platform, 100% responsive, with a 24/7 virtual campus. It supports SCORM 1.2 and AICC standards, and courses can be delivered in SCORM format on the platform.

Administration covers what a training provider needs day to day. Administrators can set user roles for administrators, tutors, supervisors and students, organize academic planning, set course start and end dates, and lay out the weekly classes each student has with each teacher. Courses carry a customizable title, class titles and a teacher's guide. Tracking includes student progress, scheduled or on-demand reports, and report exports in PDF, Excel or CSV. Teachers can create their own tests and exams, and schedule private or group classes.

Live teaching runs through configurable virtual classrooms with a whiteboard and integration APIs for Zoom, MS Teams and Google Meet. A CAE blog post adds that classes can be recorded and uploaded so students who miss a session can catch up, and that documents, videos and exercises can be shared during class.

Several features go beyond a basic LMS. An exams authoring tool supports online proctoring with registration of the student's face and documents, webcam recording and forced full screen. A courses authoring tool covers IT and generic courses, and the site says AI is integrated into both authoring tools. Teachers and tutors get an exercise correction area for LAB exercises such as writing workshops or pronunciation practice. Meeting rooms support collaborative learning, students can win awards based on progress and participation in the online community, and internal mail and secure notifications handle communication. The page also mentions parental control.

The platform can be branded to the customer's corporate image. Its interface is offered in English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Italian and Arabic. A multidomain option lets one master account run several LMS sites with different identities without extra installations.

Authors CAE, custom courses

For content that does not exist in the catalogs, Authors CAE offers tailor-made e-learning. The site says CAE develops customized content "using AI supervised by experts", based on the client's own materials, syllabus and learning objectives. Combined with Imagine's on-demand course creation, this is the route for company-specific training such as internal procedures or proprietary equipment.

Company background and buying

The FAQ says CAE is a multiple award winner, naming AEDIPE and IMPIVA, and that its value proposition combines technology, artificial intelligence and proprietary teaching methods. The footer credits Voluxion and Dexway to CAE Computer Aided USA Corp. and Computer Aided Elearning, SA. The homepage also states "We are leaders in elearning technology and online content development", which is the company's own claim.

The site publishes no prices for any product; every page points to a request-information or contact form, so plans are quoted per project.

Who it suits

CAE fits organizations that buy training in bulk and want options. A large company with an existing LMS can license LearningHub content in SCORM or LTI and add Imagine to assign it per employee. A language school or university language department gets the most complete package in Dexway: CEFR-aligned courses, placement tests, certification exams and proctoring from one vendor. A training center or academy that wants its own branded campus, with live classes over Zoom, Teams or Meet and exams with proctoring, can run on Voluxion Pro. Distributors, including LMS and book distributors, are a stated audience too.

It is a weaker fit for a single creator selling a course to the public, since there is no storefront or checkout described anywhere on the site. Small teams that want to compare prices online will also need to go through the sales contact, because nothing is listed publicly.
