What Haekka is
Haekka is an employee microlearning platform that runs inside Slack. Instead of sending staff to a separate learning portal, it delivers lessons, reminders, quizzes and surveys in Slack itself, and its headline is "Training, Delivered in the Flow of Work." The home page says the product was designed "for today's fast-moving, distributed teams," and that delivering training into the tools employees already use increases completion rates and cuts admin time. Its strongest subject area is security awareness, privacy and compliance, though the use cases on the site run to sales, product knowledge, onboarding and leadership as well. The site's footer carries the name Hook Security Inc.
The buyer is a security, compliance or L&D lead at a company that already lives in Slack. Learners never have to leave it: "Your employees will never have to leave Slack. No seriously."
Haekka Training: courses inside Slack
The core product is Haekka Training. The home page says employees "not only get reminders and nudges in Slack, they can take an entire training directly in Slack (even with video content)." The training module covers three jobs.
Creating content. The site says content creation "is as easy as clicking a button," and that Haekka's library is "Always up-to-date and 100% customizable content for security awareness, HIPAA, privacy, GDPR, SaaS apps, PCI, harassment, and more." A Training Catalog in the resources menu presents the full list of titles. Teams can also bring their own material, and the page says importing content from other platforms "is a breeze."
Assigning content. Under the line "Onboard thousands of employees in minutes," the site explains that training can be assigned to individuals, groups, workspaces and channels through Haekka's integration with Slack, with assignments and reminders automated inside Slack channels. For companies that manage people elsewhere, Haekka also offers "other provisioning options for HRIS, LMS, and IAM platforms," and a Workflows product provides API connections to streamline assignment.
Measuring content. Haekka continuously measures and reports progress. The page says it provides "reports, and evidence for hundreds of employee data points," with dashboard views for at-a-glance compliance and course completion status, and an API for anyone who needs the results somewhere else.
Streams: a year of weekly lessons
Haekka Streams work like subscriptions. The page describes them as channels of content: you subscribe to a Stream, tell Haekka which employees to engage, and it sends lessons throughout the year, typically one per week. The available Streams listed are Security Digest, Cyber Month, HIPAA Privacy, GDPR, Privacy, Awareness and Security Alerts, and the site says Stream topics range from privacy, communication skills, sales and AI skills to security.
When an employee receives a Stream post, they can acknowledge and rate it, which tells the admin how the content is landing. Posts are ordered by category, so you can see how many lessons each person received for cybersecurity, productivity, AI and so on.
Pulse: quick check-ins
Pulse is the lightweight layer. The site calls Pulse nudges "flexible, lightweight check-ins delivered as quizzes, surveys, or announcements," used by L&D teams to reinforce lessons, gather insights and keep a feedback loop open inside Slack. Unlike formal training, Pulses carry no due dates or completion requirements, and recurring Pulses let a team measure sentiment and understanding over time, from a policy change to productivity habits.
Phishing simulator add-on
Phishing is sold as an add-on. The site says Haekka's Phishing Simulator "integrates with email platforms like Gmail to detect user behavior and instantly train staff in Slack." Because the simulator and the training share Slack, an employee who clicks a simulated phishing link from Haekka can be trained immediately. Using Haekka's Chrome extension, admins can track opens, forwards, do nothings, clicks and even breaches. The page describes it as "a set-it-and-forget-it way to continually assess the risk of social engineering across your workforce."
Haekka One and the use cases
The newest packaging is Haekka One, which the site introduces as "The next generation of comprehensive employee training." It bundles integrated microlearning delivered through platforms like Slack, customizable micro-courses fitted to the organization's needs and culture, and real-time feedback through quizzes and surveys.
The use case list shows how far beyond security the product reaches: security awareness, sales enablement with product updates and objection handling, product knowledge after launches, compliance content for HIPAA, SOC 2 and GDPR, role-specific onboarding spaced over time, change management for new tools and policies, customer support refreshers, and leadership development through short lessons and self-reflection prompts.
For companies that want help running a program, Haekka also offers services from its team of compliance and security experts for managing a security awareness program. Product and API documentation, guides and case studies sit in the resources menu, and there is an affiliate program for partners.
What customers say
Three customers are quoted on the home page. JR Robinson, Head of Security at Writer, says "Writer has replaced my quarterly security awareness class with Haekka," adding that he could not be more pleased with the improved completion rate. Alison Taylor, CEO of Jane, recommends it to tech companies on Slack that need company-wide privacy and security training, calling the content "clear, well written, easy to administer, scenario based." Yash Shimpi of Security and Compliance at MaestroQA says it has become much easier to manage employee training, "including timely notifications, options to follow up, view progress and comply with the industry standards."
The company's blog adds its own figures in a call to action, offering to show how Haekka can "reduce costs by 75% while boosting employee satisfaction with our training by 81%." The same post describes Haekka as a way to extend an existing LMS with chat-based training in Slack, with custom learning paths, progress tracking and engagement analytics.
Getting started
Pricing sits on a separate page linked from the menu. The home page routes buyers to a demo: "Get started with a free trial by scheduling a demo today," after which one of Haekka's training experts walks the team through a live demo. A "Try in Slack" button offers a direct route in.
Who it suits and who it does not
Haekka fits companies that run on Slack and need recurring security, privacy or compliance training to actually get completed: tech companies, SaaS teams and distributed workforces where an annual course in a separate portal gets ignored. The combination of courses, weekly Streams, Pulse check-ins and phishing simulations covers a full security awareness program from one place, and the HIPAA, GDPR and PCI content suits regulated teams.
It is a weaker fit for organizations whose staff are not on Slack, since everything is built around it, and for teams that need long instructor-led programs rather than short, frequent lessons.
