What Bites is

Bites is a microlearning platform for frontline teams. Its home page puts the goal in one line, "Turn frontline training into measurable performance," and describes the product as a way to "Create, deliver, and measure AI-powered video training that actually changes what happens on the floor." The buyers are L&D, operations, sales and communications leaders in industries the site names directly: hospitality, restaurants, retail and fast-moving consumer goods. The lessons are short branded videos, and they reach employees through the messaging tools those employees already use rather than through an app or a portal.

The company's slogan for the approach is "Train less. Enable more." It wants training judged by what changes in the field: faster ramp-up for new hires, lower content costs and teams that execute from day one.

How training reaches employees

Delivery is the core of the product. The FAQ says training goes out "through the communication channel of your choice, like WhatsApp, Teams, SMS, Slack, or email - no apps, logins, or portals." Employees do not download anything or remember a password; they open a lesson where they already read their messages.

Each employee also gets a personalized feed. In the FAQ's words, "Each employee gets a personalized feed, with training automatically triggered by role, location, or lifecycle events," so a new hire, a person changing role and a store in a particular region can all receive different training without an administrator sending it by hand.

Employees can also ask questions. The Ask AI feature lets them type a question in natural language and get an instant answer drawn "from your approved content only." Managers see what is being asked, which shows them where knowledge gaps are before they turn into problems on the floor.

Creating content

Bites leans on AI to make content creation fast and cheap. The home page headline is "Create content in under 14 minutes," with "No vendors or production budgets," and it says anyone can create a branded, trackable training video. The AI Studio "Transforms existing documents into fully branded, interactive training in minutes."

That matters most for old material. The Legacy Content use case invites companies to upload their existing PDFs, decks and documents and let Bites turn them into short, interactive training: "No rewrites, no redesigns." The content examples on the home page show both routes, with AI-generated pieces for retail onboarding, hospitality training, FMCG ongoing safety training and an FMCG OSHA safety module, next to a user-generated restaurant training piece.

Translation is built in. "Every video is automatically translated and localized into 140+ languages - both captions and audio," the home page says, so the same lesson reads and sounds native to each team.

Companies that do not want to build everything can buy it. The FAQ says Bites offers both ready-made training content and tools to create your own, all fully branded, so off-the-shelf and custom training sit together in one place. Training templates are listed among the resources as well.

The product suites

The platform is sold as four suites:

  • Bites Learning Suite, for frontline learning and development.
  • Bites Enablement Suite, for driving frontline execution at scale.
  • Bites AI Studio, for AI-powered branded training built from existing content.
  • Bites content suite, for branded, off-the-shelf training content.

The use case menu shows how far that reaches beyond onboarding: learning and development, operational enablement for rolling out changes, sales enablement to keep every rep on message, service excellence across every location and shift, internal communications about strategy, goals and wins, and compliance, health and safety with "audit-ready proof." Further use case tabs cover diversity training, soft skills, compliance, safety and ongoing training, and the solutions list adds field sales enablement training and client or agent enablement.

Results and customers

The home page gives three headline numbers: 67% faster new hire onboarding, a 90%+ frontline engagement rate and a 95% reduction in content creation cost. It also says new hires contribute weeks earlier, with no manager hand-holding. The engagement figure is tied directly to delivery: under the heading "90%+ engagement. Not by accident." the page answers "No apps. No login. Delivered where employees already are," naming WhatsApp, Teams and SMS.

Three customers are quoted. Doron Zilbershtein, Managing Director, says "With Bites, we reached 90%+ engagement and fundamentally changed the way training supports our business and sales performance." Simone Haselier, Learning & Development Director, says Bites "enabled us to establish learning as an ongoing part of our workflow." Hallie Belle, Global Retail Education Manager, says it lets her team "quickly create, distribute, and track materials." A featured customer story is titled "Glico Asia Pacific Launches Regional Upskilling Program in Under 8 Weeks with Bites."

Working with an LMS, security and integrations

Bites does not call itself an LMS "in a traditional way." The FAQ explains that it is built for short, high-impact learning rather than long courses, and that it "can work alongside an LMS when needed, and in most cases, eventually replaces it." For that coexistence, "Bites supports SCORM - so you can integrate with existing LMSs when needed." On security, the FAQ says "Bites is ISO certified, GDPR compliant, and built for scale, security, and reliability." The integrations section promises "Integration with all your favorite apps" and says Bites fits into an existing stack.

Getting started

The route in is a demo or the Get Started button. An ROI calculator, a help center, customer stories, videos and webinars, and a partner program sit in the resources menu, and pricing has its own page. The site is available in English and Portuguese.

Who it suits and who it does not

Bites suits companies with large frontline teams spread across stores, restaurants, hotels or sales territories, where workers will open a WhatsApp or Teams message but will not log in to a portal. It is especially useful where a training team has piles of PDFs and slide decks and no video budget, and where the same lesson has to run in many languages.

It is a weaker fit for programs built on long courses, which the company itself says Bites is not designed for, and for organizations that want a traditional LMS with deep course structures rather than a stream of short videos.
