YesLMS is a cloud-based learning management system that the company says was designed from the ground up to give every learner an accessible experience. It sells to three groups, each with its own page on the site: nonprofits, government agencies and businesses. The homepage tagline is "The Learning Management System Built for Everyone", and the pitch is short: create content, assign it to your team, and scale. The site says YesLMS was created by education professionals with the goal of making web content accessible to everyone, and it describes the product as the company's contribution to a more accessible web.

How the platform works

YesLMS is hosted, so there is nothing to install. The homepage stresses that its cloud-based technology removes hardware installation and management, cuts storage and IT overhead, and delivers updates as soon as they are released. Administrators build courses, upload material and assign training to their people; a customer testimonial on the nonprofit page describes creating customized training or uploading premade videos and documents, then tracking training history.

The site groups what organizations do with it into four use cases. Certificates of Completion: the platform automatically issues certificates when employees complete courses and demonstrate knowledge. Continuing Education: a customizable LMS that is fully accessible and easy to use. Employee Onboarding: an onboarding process for new hires. Employee Training: custom training courses that are easy to use and fully accessible.

Several features sit outside the usual course player. The platform doubles as a meeting tool, so an organization can run meetings and hybrid trainings directly through the LMS rather than in a separate conferencing product. It is responsive and mobile-friendly, with what the site calls a platform-agnostic design that gives the same experience on every device. Services are available in English, Spanish, French and Brazilian Portuguese, and the site invites customers to ask if they need another language. For managers, the homepage promises fine-grained access control and reporting tools for collecting data and making decisions, and says that developing content, running reports and monitoring training are simple in its interface.

Accessibility as the core of the product

Accessibility is the reason YesLMS exists, and the site returns to it on every page. The FAQ answers the question "Is YesLMS really 100% accessible?" with "Yes, it's built from the ground up for ADA & WCAG compliance." The homepage says the platform has Universal Design for Learning (UDL) built into every aspect, supports learners who rely on assistive technologies and screen readers, and states that it is approved by the World Institute of Disability for its learners, employees and vendors.

The company recently added what it calls YesLMS Advanced Accessibility Controls: built-in settings that let each user customize their own experience according to their needs. The government article lists what learners can rely on: adjustable themes and fonts, responsive layouts for devices, screen reader support, keyboard navigation with shortcut links, image descriptions, and accessible interactive forms, quizzes and technical support. The same article says YesLMS does not put compliant accessibility features behind a paywall.

The resource side of the site follows the same theme. An Accessibility 101 section covers how to reduce legal risk and ensure equal learning opportunities, a resource center offers free downloads, and visitors can download an LMS accessibility checklist. The blog covers accessibility trends and the deadlines state and local agencies face for meeting WCAG standards.

For nonprofits

The nonprofit page calls YesLMS "the LMS for nonprofits" and says it powers accessible learning for staff, volunteers and community members. It makes three promises. Pricing is flexible and affordable, and "can be molded to fit your needs." Training for the team runs on an intuitive platform that is quick to set up and works on any device. And the organization can take ownership of its content and distribute it to stakeholders outside the organization, "for free or a fee", which makes YesLMS usable for community courses and paid educational products as well as internal training.

The page carries testimonials from named customers. A compliance manager at Octopi Brewing writes that YesLMS "was an instrumental tool in helping Octopi achieve our GFSI certification (Global Food Safety Initiative)". Michigan Rehabilitative Services says it built an onboarding program on the platform's on-demand courses so its trainers could focus on skill practice and on content specific to its state and case management system. The Helen Keller National Center says it has worked with YesLMS "over the past two years". The University of Washington Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation describes it as a cost-effective way to build training capacity and educational products.

For government agencies

The government article lays out why the company thinks agencies fit the product. Beyond the accessibility features, it promises straightforward user-based pricing, so an agency can plan its annual LMS budget from the number of learners who will use the platform. It says YesLMS is already in use with multiple state and government organizations, training both government employees and the communities they serve. Every new client and learning environment receives onboarding training, and the article promises direct access to human customer support around the clock.

The nonprofit FAQ adds two answers aimed at agencies: YesLMS says it meets "strict data protection and compliance standards" for government use, and that most agencies launch within 4-6 weeks.

For businesses

The business pitch is about simplicity. The homepage promises customizable courses for onboarding new employees, learning experiences that support development and skill building, cloud technology with no installation, and the ability to scale while paying only for what you need, when you need it. It also says that in most cases the company can have a team up and running the same day, with guided support from one of its onboarding specialists.

Setup, integrations and support

The FAQ says the onboarding team provides guided onboarding, data migration support and personalized training to make the move from another system smooth. On integrations, the answer is brief: "Absolutely! We support SSO and more." No other connected systems are named on the site.

Support is a selling point. The homepage and nonprofit page both list 24/7 support, and the FAQ describes it as "Live human support. Yes, real people." The nonprofit page adds that the company will develop an implementation plan around the customer's goals and timelines. A trial request form promises that one of the platform experts will reach out within 24 hours.

Pricing and trial

The site has a pricing link but publishes no figures on its product pages. What it does say about the model: pricing is user-based, tied to the number of learners for government buyers; nonprofits get a flexible, affordable model; and businesses pay only for what they need. The homepage offers a 14-day free trial through a short form with name and company email, and demos are booked through the same site.

Who it suits

YesLMS suits organizations for whom accessibility is a requirement rather than a preference: public agencies working to ADA and WCAG obligations, disability and rehabilitation services, and nonprofits training volunteers and community members of every ability. Its combination of automatic completion certificates, built-in meetings, multilingual service and round-the-clock human support makes it a practical choice for small training teams without IT staff. Organizations that want to compare costs before talking to sales will need to request a quote, since the site describes its pricing model but lists no prices.
