What WeLearning is
WeLearning is an e-learning company based in Łódź, operating as GLK Multimedia Sp. z o.o., and its main product for training teams is WeLMS, a learning management platform for companies and institutions. WeLearning does more than license software. Its FAQ lists custom e-learning courses, licenses to ready-made trainings, delivery and maintenance of e-learning platforms, dedicated training portals and course shops, 2D animations, integration with existing systems and user training. The site is written in Polish.
The FAQ says the company was founded on 15 September 2016. The home page lists 600+ completed projects, 150+ satisfied clients and a team of 45+, and the LMS page reports 100+ deployed platforms and 1.2 million users on its platforms. The client groups it names are insurance companies, banking and finance, public administration and state treasury entities, NGOs, SMEs and corporations.
WeLMS as a platform
WeLearning calls WeLMS "Centrum dowodzenia jakiego potrzebujesz" (the command center you need) and stresses that it is more than a system: hosting, support, training, help-desk, administration and management come with it. It can be deployed in two ways, hosted on WeLearning's servers as SaaS or installed on the client's own servers, and either way the client gets every function, module and service. The license, the company says, gives access to the full range of capabilities without restricting any module or charging extra fees.
Flexibility is the main selling point. Instead of programming work to adapt the system, every function in WeLMS can be switched on or off with one click, which the company says makes deployment cheap and fast and lets the client decide when to use which features. The system can be reconfigured at any point during its use. The interface follows familiar, widely used software patterns, and the FAQ says no IT knowledge is needed even to administer it. The platform works on all device types, including phones and tablets, and offers several ways to log in.
Building and running training
WeLMS has a built-in course editor, and courses made elsewhere can be imported in the SCORM standard. Content can be added in different formats, such as video, PDF, PPT and audio, either as standalone courses or to enrich existing ones. The platform includes video conferencing, discussion forums, quizzes and tests, and tests can be imported from an Excel file. A built-in survey tool creates surveys of any complexity, with a panel for analyzing the results.
For course production, the home page FAQ says WeLearning works with HTML5, SCORM and xAPI and a range of tools for interactive multimedia content. A dedicated course usually takes from a few weeks to a few months, depending on its scale and complexity.
Reporting and regulated training
Reporting runs through a built-in report manager that produces reports and statistics of any complexity. All user activity is recorded and can feed a report, and WeLearning can build dedicated reports, for example ones required by law; the list of reports is agreed during deployment. Reports cover a whole course or training as well as the detailed activity of a single user, and they can be viewed on the platform or saved as PDF or XLS files, the latter for loading into other systems.
The compliance side is strongest in insurance and finance. The LMS page says WeLearning has specialized in working with insurers and financial firms, and that WeLMS has a range of features that automate IDD training and exams for agent candidates. The company also offers outsourcing of some processes, ready-made professional trainings and full support in registering the system with the KNF financial supervisor. It says its system trains and examines "ponad 100 tyś osób rocznie" (more than 100 thousand people a year), and that in one deployment 500-600 people log in for an exam in the same minute.
Security and data protection
WeLearning puts security near the top of its pitch. The LMS page says WeLMS is fully compliant with RODO (the GDPR) and regularly passes security audits that meet the strict requirements of financial and public institutions, along with penetration tests. As an ICT services provider, the company says it meets the requirements of the DORA regulation. Its hosting infrastructure is built to bank-grade security standards, watched by several monitoring applications and looked after by its own cybersecurity team, and the FAQ states there has never been an infrastructure failure, break-in or data leak. WeLearning also offers to answer a client's data protection and IT department questions, add required clauses to contracts, fill in questionnaires, share its documentation and take part in audits.
The basic SLA guarantees 99% availability per month, and the platform is available 24/7. The company says it currently maintains about 75 WeLMS platforms for clients on its servers. The FAQ adds that the total number of users matters little, since a platform can hold tens of thousands, and that concurrent users only call for a sufficiently powerful server.
Integrations, branding and support
WeLearning says it can integrate WeLMS with any system, such as an HR, sales or other tool, and that because the platform has an API, integrations are neither costly nor time-consuming. It supports single sign-on and other authentication technologies. Every deployment adapts the platform's look to the client's or project's visual identity, and customization extends to integrations and new functional modules built for a specific industry or process.
Support covers technical help for the client's administrators and a help-desk for users, and every client has a dedicated account manager. The LMS page counts 300+ help-desk hours a month. WeLearning offers training on using the platform and extended support for the client's staff during the first months, so administrators have its team close at hand. A simple deployment without modifications or integrations takes at most 5 working days, and more advanced projects take longer.
Ready-made trainings and pricing
Alongside the platform, WeLearning sells licenses to ready-made e-learning trainings prepared by experienced trainers. The home page describes that library as "sprawdzone, zgodne z aktualnymi regulacjami i gotowe do uruchomienia natychmiast po zakupie" (proven, compliant with current regulations and ready to launch right after purchase). A demo zone lets visitors try e-learning courses, ready-made trainings, animations and the LMS. WeLearning describes its pricing policy as simple and transparent, but the pages publish no prices; a quote follows a conversation with the company.
Who it suits
WeLMS suits insurers, banks and other financial firms that need to run IDD training and agent exams with detailed records, and public institutions or large companies that want a hosted or self-hosted LMS with strong security assurances and a supplier willing to go through their audits. Organizations that want one partner for the platform, custom course production and ready-made trainings will find all three here, and the one-click feature toggles and full-feature license suit buyers who dislike paying module by module. SMEs and NGOs are also on the client list.
The fit is weaker for an independent creator selling a single course, since WeLearning sells to companies and institutions, and for buyers who need an English-language supplier, as the site is written in Polish.
