What e-Logos is
e-Logos is a cloud LMS for distance training (FAD, formazione a distanza in Italian) built by VITECO, a company with its offices in Catania, Italy. It is for organizations that deliver training rather than for learners shopping for a course: companies training their staff, training bodies, ECM providers, schools, universities and public administrations. VITECO is explicit about that role. "Non eroghiamo corsi per la formazione a distanza, ma forniamo gli strumenti cloud indispensabili alla FAD", its home page says (we do not deliver distance-learning courses, we provide the cloud tools that distance learning needs).
The company says its e-learning platforms have supported training bodies, ECM providers, schools, universities and companies across Europe since 2004. e-Logos is its main platform, next to a second FAD platform called MedicalFAD, and the company also builds serious games and converts training content into SCORM. VITECO's own site is in Italian; the platforms are offered in 33 languages.
Managing learners and courses
The company's article on corporate distance training walks through how a business runs its staff training in e-Logos. Administrators add learners by CSV file or manually, split them into groups by department or business area, and assign learning paths to each group. Each employee can then follow a path made of videos chosen for their needs, role or sector. The platform comes with learning paths, and a company can upload more of its own.
To check progress, an administrator can place a test at the end of a module to verify what was learned, and add quizzes inside a video to check attention during a lesson. The company's general e-learning article says e-Logos supports more than 5 quiz types natively. From the admin dashboard, reports with each employee's results can be downloaded, and the corporate training article stresses continuous monitoring of activity on the platform, so a training manager can follow progress, spot areas to improve and judge how well a course is working.
Learners get a reserved area that lists every assigned course and shows progress through their learning path. Personal details entered there flow automatically into the course completion certificate, and certificates are generated automatically when a course is passed. The same article names certificate issuing and assigning courses by sector as the kind of automation that lets training managers concentrate on improving the content itself.
Live webinars and the learner experience
e-Logos is not only for recorded video. The platform includes live webinars with interactive tools, which the company names as a whiteboard, polls and shared YouTube playback. Uploaded videos are available 24/7, so employees can take a course wherever and whenever suits them, including staff who work remotely. The company describes the interface as user friendly, and its general e-learning article adds that e-Logos lets an organization sell, monitor and manage online courses, so it is not limited to internal staff training.
Other features named on the corporate training page are integration with other software and customization "anche nei minimi dettagli", down to the smallest details. The company pitches the platform at companies, schools and universities that want an all-in-one solution for managing their courses, with uploading and tracking kept simple.
ULOI, JOBY and the ChatGPT assistant
Two other VITECO products sit around the LMS. ULOI, the Universal Learning Object Integrator, monitors learning objects inside an LMS. The company says it makes different platforms interoperable and lets learner progress be tracked and managed, including on advanced and interactive devices. JOBY is an attendance-tracking app ("App rilevazione presenze", an app for recording attendance). VITECO has also published an article introducing LMS assistant, an official virtual assistant for e-Logos that it developed inside ChatGPT to give quick, precise answers.
SCORM conversion and serious games
For organizations that run content on other LMS platforms, VITECO converts training material into SCORM packages. The home page says simple conversion is only the starting point: its graphic team builds highly customized SCORM packages from the client's content and requests, and each learning object is designed to be compatible with LMS platforms and to give the most usability, traceability and teaching value.
Serious games are the other service. VITECO designs and produces them to make learning more engaging, intuitive and interactive. The home page names collaborations with two Italian universities, the Università del Piemonte Orientale and the Università degli Studi di Foggia, on gamified learning built for European projects, training activities and university courses.
Credentials and funding
VITECO says it is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27017:2015 and ISO 27018:2019, and that it is listed in the special section for innovative SMEs (Sezione Speciale PMI Innovative) of the Registro delle Imprese, the companies register. It also reports European grants, which it credits in part to its credibility at European level, from the European Regional Development Fund (FESR), Erasmus+, the Interreg Europe Italy-Malta program, Creative Europe and the Lifelong Learning Programme, among others. Its journal covers international projects such as YIELD, funded by the Interreg NEXT program, alongside articles on microlearning and on what the State-Regions Agreement approved in April 2025 changes for distance training.
Pricing, trial and support
None of these pages list prices. The home page sends buyers to an online shop, where a free trial of e-Logos starts from a "Prova Gratis" (try for free) button, and the articles offer a demo through a contact form. Sales and support are reached by phone, WhatsApp or the contact form, and the company says it replies as quickly as possible. The reasons VITECO gives for clients choosing its FAD platforms are ease of use, customization, no hidden costs and availability in 33 languages.
Who it suits
e-Logos suits companies that want to move staff training online without building their own system: a firm with remote or multi-site employees can put its video courses, tests and live webinars in one place, assign them by department and download results per employee. Training bodies, ECM providers, schools and universities get the same tools plus automatic certificates, and an organization that wants to sell its courses can do that on the same platform. The multilingual interface helps where learners do not all work in Italian, and VITECO's SCORM and serious game services suit a buyer who needs content produced as well as hosted.
The main caveat for a buyer outside Italy is that VITECO's own site is written in Italian and the pages publish no prices, so the trial or a demo is the way in. The pages also describe integration with other software only in general terms, without naming the systems.
