Travitor

Tap a star to rate

Travitor is employee training software, a hosted learning management system for onboarding, compliance and workforce development in small and mid-sized companies. The home page pitches it with built-in courses on harassment prevention, OSHA safety, cybersecurity and HIPAA, plus professional development for sales, customer service, project management and leadership. Its main draw is the entry point: a free plan that the site describes as "Free forever. No credit card needed." and that supports unlimited users, with a Pro plan starting at $5/user/month. Travitor brings course building, AI video creation, a compliance course library from Skillsoft, assignment and tracking, live training administration and reporting into one system, and it can also train customers and partners as well as staff. The home page shows a rating of 4.9/5 from 2k+ reviews.

Building courses and learning paths

Training managers build courses from their own material or from the library. The FAQ says you can upload videos, PowerPoint presentations, documents and SCORM files to create custom training programs, and the feature list adds slides, document import and PowerPoint import. The headline addition is AI video: "NOW CREATE AI TRAINING VIDEOS" runs across the top of the home page, and the product pages describe it as text to AI video in minutes, which suits a team that needs a narrated explainer for a policy or process without filming one.

Assessment centers on a video quiz builder that embeds questions into the video timeline, so a learner has to answer before moving on. One reviewer quoted on the home page puts it this way: "I love that you can pause a video to test knowledge of the learner before they are able to move on." A standalone quiz builder, discussions, homework and leaderboards round out the course tools.

Learning paths combine any mix of videos, AI-generated video, presentations, documents, quizzes, discussions and homework into one sequence, and the home page frames them as the way to deliver onboarding programs, company policies, product training and compliance courses "in one organized learning experience." The comparison pages count 17+ pre-built learning paths that come with the product.

The compliance and skills library

The library is the part most buyers will notice. The home page offers "hundreds of professionally developed courses from Skillsoft", and the product's comparison pages put the compliance and safety collection at 400+ courses. The FAQ says Travitor includes unlimited access to that library, and separately that the free plan offers limited access to it.

The catalog is broad. Harassment and discrimination training comes in US state editions and in versions for Canada, Global / UK and Australia, with tracks for employees and managers, bystander intervention, and preventing bullying and violence. OSHA health and safety covers EPA, safe driving for DOT, PPE, EHS, IIPP, bloodborne pathogens, slips, trips and falls, and fire safety. Cybersecurity and privacy covers HIPAA, data privacy, device security, ESG and GDPR. Workplace compliance includes active shooter, unconscious bias, ethics and code of conduct, the Americans with Disabilities Act, PCI compliance, FMLA and California consumer privacy law. A credit union section covers the Bank Secrecy Act, lending and deposit regulations, member service and security.

Beyond compliance, the library has leadership and management courses (first-time manager, interviewing and hiring, change management), PMP Exam Prep, sales, customer service, communication, working remotely, work and life balance, Google Apps and Microsoft Office skills, and a generative AI track covering responsible use and leading the transformation.

Assigning, tracking and live training

Admins assign courses to people and groups with due dates and automated reminders, and the comparison pages say groups and branches are unlimited. Reporting shows who is on track and who needs attention, with activity by course, event, lesson, user or group, and tracking of enrollments, completions, time spent learning, quiz data and overdue assignments. Custom reports can be exported automatically to multiple email addresses daily, weekly or monthly. The FAQ lists automated training assignments, real-time reports and certification tracking among the main reasons companies pick it, and certificates appear in the feature list.

Travitor also handles instructor-led training. The home page describes a blended model where learners complete pre-tests, review documents and watch videos before a session, then take final assessments and homework afterward. Admins schedule sessions, approve enrollments, track attendance, manage waitlists and add sessions to the calendar.

The same system extends to customers, partners and external teams, for product training and documentation meant to raise product adoption and reduce support costs. Learners can train on desktops, tablets and smartphones, since the FAQ calls the platform fully mobile-friendly.

Integrations and support

The comparison pages list HRIS integrations with BambooHR, Paylocity, ADP and Gusto, described as simple and turnkey, and the site has dedicated pages for BambooHR, Paylocity and Gusto LMS use. A Microsoft SharePoint integration is listed too. Support is a selling point: account manager support and phone support are both listed as included, and live chat support appears among the features. Several customer reviews on the home page single out the support team, one calling it "truly amazing."

Customers and plans

The home page features case studies from Dress for Success in Las Vegas, the credit union service organization PSCU, One Nevada Credit Union, LUSH, and Cashman Equipment, a Nevada CAT dealer. Reviewers come from banking, financial services, insurance, construction, higher education and IT services. The FAQ names healthcare, manufacturing, construction, professional services, technology, retail and hospitality, and financial services among the industries that use it.

Pricing has two published levels. The free plan supports unlimited users, has no time limit and needs no credit card; the FAQ says it lets organizations create courses, assign training and track progress, with limited access to the compliance library. Pro starts at $5/user/month, and the FAQ says additional plans are available as training needs expand. A demo can be booked from every page.

Who it suits

Travitor suits small and mid-sized employers, credit unions and service businesses that need compliance training running quickly without building it themselves. A company with an HR generalist rather than an instructional designer can start on the free plan, load existing PowerPoints and videos, add AI-generated video and video quizzes, and assign Skillsoft courses on harassment prevention, OSHA safety or HIPAA from the library. Teams that run classroom sessions alongside e-learning get scheduling, waitlists and attendance in the same tool, and those on BambooHR, Paylocity, ADP or Gusto get their roster synced.

The caveat is depth on the free plan, which opens the compliance library only in part, so companies that plan to rely on the full Skillsoft catalog should expect to move to Pro. The product is built for workforce training, so course creators who want to sell to the public will find little storefront here beyond training for customers and partners.
