What it is

Tovuti LMS is a cloud learning management system that presents itself as "Your AI‑Powered LMS." Three claims lead the home page: a "FedRAMP Authorized IL2 LMS", native AI course authoring "with AI built directly into the LMS", and an "LMS-as-a-Service" offer in which Tovuti's experts help build, manage and optimize a customer's learning program. The FAQ on the manufacturing page adds that Tovuti is "a 100% cloud-based platform, so there is no software to download and manage."

The site says Tovuti supports "a wide range of training programs for internal teams and external audiences." Its use-case menu covers employee training, employee onboarding, compliance training, customer education, partner enablement and selling courses, and its industry pages cover government, manufacturing, construction, healthcare, retail and transportation. So the same entry serves an L&D team, a compliance officer, a customer education team and an organization that wants to sell training.

What you get

AI course authoring with WayPoints. WayPoints is Tovuti's AI course authoring tool, built into the LMS and also sold as a standalone authoring tool with its own pricing and a version for federal teams. On the manufacturing page, Tovuti describes turning current SOPs, PDFs and decks into structured, editable course drafts "with Waypoints, no blank page," which subject matter experts then validate and approve. Alongside the AI, the built-in authoring tool lets a team "Build interactive courses in minutes, grab courses from our integrated libraries, and import your own Videos, PowerPoints, PDFs and SCORM files." The home page lists support for SCORM and xAPI to track learning across systems.

Engagement. The content tools aim to "Boost completion rates with competitions, certificates, awards, and 40+ gamified content options." Learners log into a personalized dashboard showing their courses, checklists, registered events, badges and certificates earned, and a leaderboard. Tovuti also lets organizations build social communities and reward learners through gamification.

Virtual classrooms and events. A built-in virtual classroom runs scheduled or spontaneous online classes, with live video, shared native videos and slide decks, a real-time whiteboard and breakout groups. For in-person sessions, an event system builds registration pages, tracks attendance and can charge for admission.

Automation and learning paths. Admins can "Segment learners, gate content, auto assign and recommend courses, geofence notifications, auto invite to events and live classrooms, and more!" Learners are added through single sign-on, batch import, a registration link or manually, and user groups then drive automatic assignments, recommendations, invitations and learning paths. The manufacturing page adds Checkpoints, which goes beyond completion with knowledge checks, forms and human review, and role-based access that controls what internal and external audiences can see.

Reporting. Tovuti tracks learner progress down to micro interactions with course content. Admins can build custom reports on "virtually any data in your system, from learner progress to course sales," then sort, filter, group, auto-calculate and export to Excel, and build KPI dashboards. For compliance, assignments, due dates, attestations, certificates and approvals are centralized, with exceptions surfaced in dashboards for OSHA, ISO and customer audits.

Branding and portals. Customers get "Complete control over branding, colors, logos, navigation and more," and can create separately branded portals for departments, branches or clients, which is the setup a customer education or partner enablement program needs.

Selling training. For organizations that sell, Tovuti can "Sell courses, subscriptions and even physical items," with reward points, affiliate systems and coupon codes, and a choice of four payment gateways. The manufacturing FAQ confirms Tovuti "Can be used to sell or monetize content, subscriptions, and even events."

Content libraries. Real-time integrations with content libraries give access to more than 7,000 courses in aggregate, which can be added as lessons or courses within seconds. Third-party courses carry an extra fee.

Integrations, security and accessibility

Tovuti offers "an open API, single sign on (SAML, OAuth 2.0), and a beta connection with Zapier (1,000+ apps)." The home page groups integrations into HRIS and HCM systems, SSO and identity providers, content and course libraries, and SCORM and xAPI. The manufacturing page shows Okta, Azure AD, Google, Salesforce, BambooHR and Zoom among the systems it connects to, and says Tovuti "integrates with most HRIS systems."

Security is a major part of the pitch. According to the home page, Tovuti is "FedRAMP Authorized through Knox Systems' secure, approved FedRAMP cloud infrastructure," undergoes SOC 2 Type II audits, and supports SSO and multi-factor authentication. The manufacturing FAQ lists support for SF-182 workflow, CAC/PIV cards, EHRI, FISMA, CCPA, GDPR and HIPAA, along with end-to-end data encryption, high availability, redundant data storage and disaster recovery. On accessibility, the FAQ says the learner interface meets WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA and Section 508, with support for screen readers, color-impaired learners and keyboard-only navigation.

Pricing, support and results

The pages show no prices. The manufacturing FAQ answers "How much does Tovuti cost?" with a link to a pricing inquiry page, and a "Pricing" button sits in the main navigation.

Support is part of the product. Tovuti offers setup and onboarding, ongoing technical support and account management, professional services, and the LMS-as-a-Service option. The manufacturing page promises guided onboarding, 24/7 support, content migration and integration help, and a dedicated success manager, and says most teams "go live in weeks, not months." The platform is handed over "ready to go on day one," though the FAQ notes that customers migrating from a mature system face a longer integration.

The manufacturing page cites a 4.6 rating on G2 from 296 reviews. Case studies report that Partners In Health unified training for 18,000 staff across 11 countries, that Optimist International increased its training rate by 2,000%, and that Hexure quadrupled its client training reach. Customer quotes on the site include: "I've been using Tovuti for almost two years now and it has been an incredible experience. Our learners can easily access learning content, and the content is easy to develop." Mary Elizabeth M. of The Education Partners says Tovuti helped them reach educators "in 22 states across Mexico" with course completion rates of 68%.

Who it suits

Tovuti fits organizations that want one cloud system for authoring, delivering and proving training: a manufacturer standardizing SOP and safety training across plants and shifts, a healthcare or construction business with audit-ready records to keep, a government team that needs an LMS with FedRAMP authorization, or a company running customer education or partner enablement in branded portals. Associations and training businesses that sell courses, subscriptions or event tickets get eCommerce in the same platform.

The trade-offs are the usual ones for a broad, cloud-only product. Teams that need to host their own LMS will not find that here, third-party library courses cost extra, and pricing starts with a conversation rather than a published list.
