What Tenneo is

Tenneo is an enterprise learning platform for large organizations that train employees and external audiences on one system. Its FAQ describes it as "an AI-powered enterprise learning platform" for onboarding, compliance, upskilling, sales enablement and leadership development, and says it "has powered 300+ LMS implementations and serves over 4.5 million users globally" and is "backed by over 30 years of learning expertise." The current release is announced on the site as Tenneo LMS v8.5.

Tenneo is the product formerly called G-Cube LMS. The home page refers to "Tenneo (erstwhile G-Cube LMS)", and the old G-Cube site now states "G-Cube LMS is now Tenneo" beside a second notice that G-Cube Content Services is now Ozemio. The Ozemio about page, which the old G-Cube address points to, describes the MRCC group, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Billerica, USA, as having divisions that include Tenneo (LearnTech) and Ozemio, and lists the acquisition of G-Cube Solutions in its history.

The reader it serves is an L&D, HR or compliance team in a bank, insurer, manufacturer, automaker, pharmaceutical company or retailer, often with branch networks, dealers or franchisees to train.

Products and variants

The product menu lists Tenneo LMS, Tenneo LPP (a learning performance platform), Tenneo LMS for SMB and a Tenneo Content Marketplace. The LMS comes in "4 variants (Learn, Learn+, Grow, Act) to suit your learning maturity model." The products page describes them in order:

  • Learn, for companies just starting out with structured learning;
  • Learn+, "A learning portal for SMBs and complex, large organisations with inter-departmental dependencies";
  • Grow, "Enterprise LMS with LXP (Learning Experience Platform) for organisations that need experience-based, personalised training";
  • Act, "A targeted learning system linked to business goals."

The LPP sits on top of an existing learning system to connect training with performance: it offers "KPI-driven learning need identification" and "learning delivery based on pre-defined rules", with the stated aim of reducing unnecessary training investment.

What the LMS does

The home page lists the engagement features as a video library, skill gap analysis, a gamification layer, smart notifications, a mobile-first approach and content recommendations, and the products page adds business analytics "with the ability to build custom reports and dashboards" and a built-in Tenneo Assistant for finding information faster. Ready-made content comes "From free and paid libraries."

AI runs across the platform. The FAQ lists "adaptive learning, intelligent content authoring, personalized recommendations, AI-assisted onboarding, multilingual content creation, automated assessments, knowledge management, and video-based coaching." Performance is the other theme: the FAQ says Tenneo aligns learning with business goals "through performance dashboards, KPI-based learning recommendations, learning impact analysis, automated learning delivery, and targeted interventions."

The site lists automotive, aviation, BFSI, FMCG and retail, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, IT and non-profit among its industries. The training programs it supports are new employee onboarding, compliance and regulatory training, sales enablement, upskilling and reskilling, customer service training and channel partner training.

Compliance and governance

A company article sets out Tenneo's compliance features: role- and department-based compliance assignments, regulatory training built around recurring cycles, audit-ready reporting on demand, and policy acknowledgments tracked automatically, with certification tracking and automated renewal alerts. The article's FAQ says "Tenneo generates audit-ready reports on demand, including training completion records, certification status, and policy acknowledgments", and that compliance staff "can pull this data in minutes."

Governance features in the same article include multi-tenant support for separate business units, organizational hierarchies that mirror reporting structures, role-based permissions, automated workflows, executive dashboards, single sign-on and audit trails. It says the platform supports GDPR compliance and holds a CMMI Level 3 appraisal, and that Tenneo has won Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Awards and appears on Training Industry Top 20 lists. The home page counts 100+ awards.

Training beyond employees

The FAQ says Tenneo "supports employees as well as external audiences, including customers, partners, resellers, franchisees, contractors, vendors, and association members." The company article lists franchise training across locations, dealer product training, contractor safety and policy training, partner training across a distribution network, and customer education "delivered from the same platform." On franchises, it says every location "receives the same standards, so franchise owners do not need to build separate training programs on their own." This is what places Tenneo in customer education as well as the business LMS category.

Integrations and implementation

The home page promises "smart integrations with 100+ connectors", and the products page says the platform comes prepackaged with connectors for HRMS, content libraries, MS Teams and Zoom, among others. The FAQ adds integrations with HRMS, CRM, collaboration platforms, content libraries and enterprise applications.

Implementation follows a structured method. The FAQ says the platform "can typically be implemented in as little as eight weeks", with project planning, testing, user acceptance, deployment and hyper care, and the products page says Tenneo reduces the implementation timeline by 45%.

Customers

The home page names Axis Bank, Lufthansa, DS Group, SBI and Honda among its success stories. Axis Bank calls it "the most easy to use, customizable, and feature-rich LMS we have used." Lufthansa describes a workforce training project, SEED (Skills Enhancement and Employee Development), launched in June 2020. The SBI quote says the platform, branded mGurukul, became "one of the important pillars of SBI card automation journey", and that "we were able to engage more than 28,000 workforces & reduce the induction training days from 31 to 22 days." DS Group praises the "uncomplicated creation of batches, programs, and assessments with the consolidated data view". Honda credits it with satisfying its dealer personnel and says the support team's responses "has always been prompt and smooth." Case study titles include a 30% increase in training completion rate at Axis Bank after the LMS went live, and a Mercedes-Benz e-learning content project.

Pricing

The FAQ says "Tenneo offers four pricing plans: Learn, Learn+, Grow, and Act", with pricing "customized based on factors like the number of users, required integrations, and your specific training needs." There is no public price; quotes follow a personalized demo.

Who it suits

Tenneo suits enterprises in regulated industries, especially banking, financial services, insurance, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, and companies with dealer, franchise or partner networks that need the same training and compliance records across every location. The KPI-linked LPP will interest L&D teams asked to show business impact, and the 100+ connectors matter for organizations with an established HR and collaboration stack. Smaller companies have the SMB edition and the Learn variant as entry points. The caveat is that pricing and the full feature split between variants only come through a demo, so a buyer should plan time for a sales process.
